It is also dog friendly. Pretty much dirt trails, so after rains, it can get muddy, but we are in Texas, so that only happens occasionally. You can get several miles in on the various trails. Others are friendly and willing to point you in the right direction. I've been here a couple of times now and enjoyed both times. I do recommend hiking with someone else in case of emergencies. You never know when you might come across a snake, so be safe!

I want to thank the lifeguard staff for being very understanding and patient with my 6year old non verbal autistic son. They were accommodating when i explained he has trouble understanding commands while upholding safety rules. They let him idle in areas that weren't in use. When explained his behaviors they didn't make us feel unwelcome. Just for how the staff treated us, I would deff come back!! For $20 bucks I think this is a great place! My family who lives here said they've never seen it not busy BUT it was great for us. Two big water slides that are pretty darn fast. One person only at a time, you can't have a life vest one. One slide you need a tube. The lazy river was pretty nice and calm. They have an outdoor sand volleyball court (looks like 12u height). Had a little ceasar's pizza and nachos's (didn't care for the sauce). Nice big water pool and a shallower area for the kids. It's a basic waterpark. - 2 big slides. One of which being a tube slide. - an area for little kids and toddlers. - lazy river. - swing thing. - cabanas and reserved tables. - snack stand - general store - bathrooms. There really isn't an area where you go and get tubes from a pile. You just kinda have to scope out the lazy river and find a tube that's abandoned. The big slides are CRAZY fast! I am telling you to watch out for the tube slide that's multicolored! The speed I was going was nuts, combined with the fact it had me going backwards unintentionally was kinda scary. I got a bruise trying to position myself so I could drop out into the pool without seriously flipping over or injuring myself. The bruise is still visible 2 days later. I didn't wanna ride that slide anymore. Didn't trust it. All in all, it's a nice little park where you can beat the heat. If you don't mind crowds or tons of people in a lazy river. It's not horrible but it's not awe inspiring either lol.

FINALLY Zach and I made it out onto Lake Belton! We tried last year and Frank's was doing some…read moremaintenance on the bobcats and then we just didn't get around to it. So we showed up today a casual 10 minutes late. I'm always stressed about being late and they were very cool with it which immediately relaxed me. I think the marina itself could use more signage as we didn't see where to go to check in and had to be directed by someone else on the dock. We find our way, one of the employees said she was going to check that our bobcat was working (really appreciate that, always want to know it works) and we checked in inside. Without prompting, they recommend some cool areas of the lake to check out. This was excellent and I loved it. Zach was driving, so I was thriving, and they had wine on sale for 20% off, so they twisted my arm and I ended up with some delicious, cheap, plastic, single-serving bottles of wine. They were very patient with my nerves as we got loaded onto the boat and I tried not to lose all of my items. I really misinterpreted the size of the boat and, as I always do, overpacked. We did not need towels, we did not really need ... anything .... except maybe the wine. They gave us a great overview of how to steer the bobcat, cuz it was a little different than what we are used to with big boy boats, and we were off! We had a great time, we made it back alive, we signed a paper saying we were alive and had returned their bobcat, and they surprised us by saying bobcat rentals no longer have to pay for gas. We did not argue and hippity hopped it out of there. They made it so easy, the price is reasonable, they seem to have pretty open availability, and you can rent by the 1/2 hour. I can see us having a date night where we grab some dinner at Deadfish and then take a bobcat out for an hour to watch the sunset from the lake. This is my life now? No complaints.

Spider webs are all over the walls, over the sinks, over the ceiling. Spiders are everywhere. Showers smells worse than the toilets. If you have a RV with your own restroom then this place is perfect for you.
