I placed an order, which didn't show up for over a month; I went on their website and saw no order history whatsoever of the order I thought I placed; assumed there was some kind of glitch where the order didnt go thru. I placed a second order, which eventually came a month later. Two weeks after that, the first order that there is no record of shows up. Both coats were a large, but the second one that showed up is like 4 inches shorter than the other one. Tried calling them to rectify, and they refuse to credit for the first one that there is still no record of in my order history, took 8 weeks to deliver, and is the wrong size. I see so many negative reviews for S&B, and before my encounter with Ms. Pat, maybe my thoughts were not as positive. I would say I am a fairly regular customer now. I hate shopping, but when I come in, Ms. Pat recommends items that are on sale, fit well, or are the newest fashion (jumper, arm sleeves). She actually helps me to locate my size, which is a game-changer for me. Again, I am not a shopper, so if you want me to buy, you have to help, and SHE DOES it with a smile and warmth. Misleading sales techniques They had "scrubs" listed with a photo of a woman wearing scrubs - top AND bottom. Listed price of just under $40. I ordered thinking I was getting a set of scrubs. I received my order and it was ONLY the top. The price was not listed as "top, $40." I had NO idea I was only ordering the top and paying that much for half a set of scrubs. It should be obvious to the customer what they're ordering. Two stars because it looks like a nice top. But overpriced and now I still need to spend more money and wait to receive the bottom half of what normally comes as a set. What are scrubs without the bottom? RUDE EMPLOYEES! I called the store to ask if I could make it just before they closed @8 and he said I could come because the registers don't shut off till 8:10p. I got there @8 on the dot and the guy locked the door and looked at me then proceed to ignore me. If I had looked this place up on Yelp before going I would not have gone based on these reviews alone. I took a chance and went solely based on them having a huge selection in Houston. I was greeted by a tall nice gentleman who directed me to exactly what I came in for. I didn't catch his name. Laura is the store associate that sealed the deal for me. She was extremely kind, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable in the different scrub types. I'm curvy and tall so I needed extra long pants and he was able to show me where I could find some, and then after he sent me to the fitting room, he found me several more pairs--and he actually picked out the winning pair of pants! As someone who has been in the medical field for the majority of my life, I am not new to purchasing hospital attire. This was, however, my first time at the Scrubs and Beyond location on Fannin Street. When I walked in I was immediately pleasantly greeted by an associate (Laquonita). I told her what I was interested in that day and she helped me find what I was looking for. She also showed me the latest items that had just come in and provided a demonstration of the waterproof scrubs (I ended up getting a pair!). She was helpful, courteous, and pleasant. I will definitely come back here again, and I recommend coming to this location if you're looking for a wide variety of medical attire. I would give zero stars if it would let me. The selection is okay in the store but not many Tall options for women. Because of this I ordered online because all of the sizes were available in Tall. I recently ordered from this company. After the fact- the day after- read the reviews and out of concern for what I needed- chanced calling Customer Service and was kindly greeted. Explained that after I read the complaints about shipping and things being in stock, the delays.. the representative understood my concerns. I know that sometimes people just complain, are never pleased, but the consistency was a real concern. The rep took the time to confirm that what I needed was in stock and that I would receive an email when it was shipped. Later that same day (the day after order was placed) I received that email, and 2 days later it was delivered. While it's obvious that there was time when there was an issue with fulfillment at some point for a while- or frustration with communication and poor quality customer service; it was not what I experienced, and I will be ordering again. Should you be discouraged by the reviews beforehand, call customer service and ask if things are in stock or answer questions you might have. I have ordered from S&B for years. I ordered a new brand and the top was too large. The back of the packing slip clearly outlines a process for free exchanges of different sizes or colors. The only option on the website is to refund your purchase and pay $5 to mail it back. Customer service agent said "our policy hasn't been updated on the packing slips. We only offer in-store exchanges." Lost $5 but I returned the entire purchase. I will order from Amazon or find a local retailer. I found something that worked for me and was ready to apply the 20% code. The woman told me that more than half the brands in the store were not included in the "any item" description! I went to make a bulk purchase for my office (25 sets of scrubs). The site claimed "free shipping". Then, when I went to checkout they wanted over $550 for shipping (to Canada) as well as another $600 for duty and taxes and BS. I asked them on chat if this could possibly be accurate and got sent a copy-and-pasted, generic policy on them using a third party shipping agent and they didn't address any of the questions I asked. I will say that this company do not value their customers, I placed a order on line and realized that I did not change my shipping address, the website does not have a option for me to change the shipping address after placing an order. I had to reach out to customer service where I was told that they are able to do anything to change the address and that my order will have to be canceled. This was not a great option however, I updated my account and deleted my old address and updated my account with my new address and waited 3 days and placed the same order. I checked my shipping address and made sure everything was correct before submitting the order. Once I received my order number I noticed that the old address was back on the order. I then had to reach back out to customer service to see why this has happen, and once again I was told they was not able to do anything for me, my order has to be canceled again that if the place the order for me they will not be able to use my rewards. The agent had no care and was rushing me off the phone. I have ordered from this company in the pass and I must say when speaking with a agent the have no sense of concern and make me a customer feel like they don't need my money and don't try to help in no way at all.
