I really like this store. The customer service is excellent. I have never been told that my item had to be backordered. They have an abundance of merchandise on hand. read more

GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR IN WRITING! Guy told me word of mouth while we made the deal in person $150 for 100 patches and 50 American Flags. Remember this fact please. The owner is rude. No professionalism over the phone, but shows more in person. Placed an order of patches that took 3 months to come in when initially that time frame was never said. I was expected to wait a month & a half or 2 months as said initially. He doesn't check on your order after you pay, I called him 1 once every 2 weeks to check in and he always had an attitude saying maybe next week or 2. I wait, then same answer after AGAIN. I get there to pickup finally and he's trying to promote me to buy some more items and when I say dude I already waited 3 months for the patches I'm going to take my money elsewhere for the uniform work the look on his face could tell it all he was upset. He thanked us for our patience then immediately spoke in Spanish for the worker to grab the receipt from the back. She comes back and he hands it to me and the only thing on the receipt is just $100 patches and he looks at me with this smug look like checkmate. No issue it's just $50 we got money. But real douchebag move, he says one thing and doesn't write it down so it's your word vs his record that he made up, not what you spoke about. This shop is good if you just need a vest, or a baton, but getting custom work done or uniforms done in a timely manner? This not the place read more

Although the supplies are cheap and somewhat abundant in selection the service is very poor. Encountered with rude and unhelpful management.

I was highly satisfied with William he waited a little bit later to give my my uniform after it was closed I was having car trouble as well he helped me so much this is the best place to go!!!!!!! Thanks so much William very satisfied read more

William is a no non sense, get the job done, kind of guy. They have everything you need with the best prices in The State of Texas. Comments on here saying William is mean is ridiculous. The man is running a company that's literally the glue for multiple agencies across the state. He is not going to put up with your BS which is exactly what is needed In this business. You are not always going to have the highest IQ people walk through the door but they handle their business effectively and efficiently. Best prices in town, best owner in town. read more

Excellent customer service, this store has pretty much everything you need. They have fast service when you need alterations done. And not very expensive so you get a great value. They also have a wise selection in variety of uniforms. read more

The old man with the beard was so rude to me, I was trying to buy a light for my firearm and I asked to see if he can test it to see if it works and once he tried to test it, he cussed me out and then blame me for it and got mad at me. Terrible customer service. read more

They took 4 customers during my visit... I waited forever. I was on a deadline.. they told me they close at 2.. I got back 30 minutes later at 1:55 and they already closed everything down.. I really needed this and I told them I would be here. Unprofessional and very unfriendly. Only come here if you need to. read more

This place has just about everything you could need for work if you're a first responder. The only thing that gives this place 2 stars is the owner. Mannnnnn, that guy is brutal to his employees. I was looking for something and the employee who helping me kept asking other employees for help locate the item. He kept apologizing that he couldn't find the items quickly. I asked the guy if he was new. He said yes it's my second day. I told him it's okay in due time you'll know the store in and out. I'm just about done. Last thing I needed was requested. The owner sees the guy still helping me and say what's taking so long. The line is growing. Employee states he can't locate my last item. The owner snaps and began belittling the employee. I politely tell him that's okay. I don't want any oh these items if you have to talk to him like that. I frequent the store only if I HAVE to for a last minute item for work. The atmosphere is so much more pleasant when the owner is gone. The employees are smiling and willing to help. Not sure whatever happened to that employee I haven't seen him there since. read more

I was looking for uniform for security guard, unfortunately I went there , the owner & staff both are really rude , pathetic & making fun of customers! This company should be rated 0 . I won't recommend anyone to go buy anything over there . read more

This is hands down the best uniform shop in Houston. They have everything in stock and can do alterations the same day. I love how they take the time to go through all the stuff you need while in the store with them. read more

Williams(the owner) is really an asshole because he's old. He needs to sell because the store can make some good money with and upgrade because he does everything old school only because that's the only way he understands. I worked there for 2 days it was horrible he was rude to customers and the rest of the coworkers were always talking shut about his ways. He needs help this would of been a fun job and a safe environment to work in if the company was treating people right and the owner was gone. read more

I really didn't want to go by the reviews but I see why people rate this business so low. I only gave two stars because they have sooooo much. For my first time being a customer I thought I was getting great customer service as soon as I walked through the door then I later realize that was only to rush me because they were closing in 10 min. I came in already knowing what I want and I was still rushed. I don't want to say he was racist but I definitely felt some type of tension. They have almost everything you need but don't expect to be treated like royalty. read more

Called up and William basically hung up the phone on me before I can finish my sentence. Extremely rude and obnoxious Stay away. People like this don't deserve your business read more

This place GETS THE JOB DONE. The owner William is a gruff, tough, no nonsense kind of guy. He may come off sounding a bit harsh at first, but once you start working with the guy, you realize that he has his whole heart into the reputation of his business. He takes his company name very seriously, which is a rare quality. He and his staff under-promised and over-delivered. My Police Academy uniforms were ready EXACTLY when they said they would be, both the classroom uniforms and the p/t gear (which had to be ordered seperately through no fault of Discount). His right hand lady was a joy with which to work and remembered me each time that I came in, in spite of seeing hundreds of customers a day. I highly recommend this place for your commercial uniform needs. read more

Everyone was friendly I got what I wanted it got it fixed and altered in and out in less than 15 minutes the prices are so reasonable and of course the quality depends on what you are willing to pay I had a very good shopping experience. Couldn't be much more of a pleasant experience. The process from checking in to going over each piece before signing confirmation of the order is flawless. The staff seems to have great experience anticipating each need and question. I will return for sure! read more

Extremely pleased with service and product received. Kimberly received my telephone call, I explained what I thought I wanted, she took the ball and helped me beyond the normal to ensure I had items I envisioned. She followed up via e-mail. All products received in less time than projected and arrived in perfect condition. Very fair pricing. We will do business again! read more

Discount uniforms is a great place. Low prices and awesome service. Have been coming to this place for years and I must say I'm completely satisfied. Don't listen to these other reviews because most of these people are ungrateful. William the owner is the man he goes above and beyond to make anything happen. My company definitely appreciates him and his assets to my business! God bless you and your Family Will! read more

The owner is blatantly racist. My husband called up to the store for a specialty item. The owner confirmed product availability and agreed on a price over the phone. After driving 45 minutes to get to the store the owner took one look at my husband and said he didn't have such an item and hadn't had the conversation. Today he sized my husband up and loudly announced he would be changing same day order policies. We were there for a same day order of course. Absolutely rude, disrespectful and blatantly gives preference to anyone not black. read more

This white racist man venting about harge orders and was very rude! Venting it out on me about how busy and overwhelmed he is. Not my problem if your customer made the order before quitting time and you can't handle the workload. I think he didn't Ike hearing my criticism bc I'm a female. He sucks at his job!! Find other stores to buy gear. He needs to get another job if he's not happy anymore!!! read more

I spent well over $800 in this store just for them to turn around and give garbage customer service. I'll never spend another dollar in this establishment. read more

I will drive out of my way to shop elsewhere. I won't give a dime to a business who feels it's ok to belittle employees in front of customers or to be extremely rude to customers. read more

Horrible customer service! Although this place has the supplies any officer may need, they are not accountable for mistakes made on behalf of the staff. William is arrogant, speaks to customers in an aggressive tone and over talks the customer. When a mistake is made William is completely on the defense. In addition to my own failed order, as I waited to be serviced I witness William talk down to 2 Hispanic customers literally calling them a liar. The stress customer's encounter is not worth the service. If you place an order I would recommend providing a copy of the request and have the associate sign, ALWAYS have your receipt handy and have the associate sign off on your order to confirm. Once told my order was ready, I made 2 trips from Pearland to this store to pick up an incomplete order that was never resolved. I am highly disappointed. read more

The business seems ok at first. Like most businesses, they are all smiles when you purchase something. However, if there is an issue with your purchase. This is when they show their true colors! I purchased boots from this place a number of times & never had any problems prior. I would up buying a pair of boots here & tried them on in the store & they felt fine. I also tried the boots on once more when I arrived home & the shoes again felt fine. Well apparently there must have been some type of defect with this boot because despite them fitting me. Something structurally was off about the shoe & was causing me pain on the top of my foot. I called the store & spoke with a piece of sh** manager named William. He told me to bring the shoes in & he would take a look at them. When I got to the store his chief concern was that if he gave me a refund that he would be out of 80.00. That's all he cared about. He also tried to blame me by insisting I bought the wrong shoe size which I didn't. He also was dismissive of my trying the boots on before I left the store & again when I arrived home. William was extremely rude & didn't listen to my concern at all. He agreed to give me a credit, but then said I talked myself out of the credit because I wouldn't go along with his fabricated story of me purchasing the wrong size shoe. I would recommend that people stay away from this place, & go to Lawmans uniform store located 5814 Millwee street if they want to experience competitive pricing & great customer service! I assure you the only reason this place has stayed in business is because Security officers & Police officers have no choice but to buy their uniforms & equipment from here. William is a piece of crap & has no grasp of how to communicate or provide excellent customer service. I'll never purchase anything from this store again! read more

Have been going here for over ten years. Owner has a terrible attitude and doesn't know how to talk to people. Uniforms consistently don't fit well. Everything this company sells is a factory second and is messed up some way. Save yourself and your agency time and money and go to a reputable place for uniforms. Don't support a business that runs a sweatshop in the back. The owner runs a business in the slum for a reason. He fits right in. read more

I visited this establishment and in spite of what was written in yelp reviews (negative comments) I decided to try them out. I asked to see some holsters and the brand that I was presented was fairly pricey so I asked did he have any other brands he says for my type of weapon no and when I said well I'm not going to get the brand here I've seen it somewhere else a bit less expensive he slams my weapon down on the counter and said okay goodbye! I then say well sir I would like to purchase a duty belt and he says well I'll get someone else to help you. I decided not to purchase anything here at this establishment and it's really sad that he was rude and not helpful when I was trying to give him busines. Never again read more

Bad fit uniforms coupled with poor after sales (48 hours) service. Bad attitude from owner. Go anywhere else if you can.

This place is awesome. They have great costumer service and a lot of vintage police gear. Mike was incredibly knowledgeable and also super friendly/helpful. I'll definitely be coming back and telling all my friends about this place. read more
