First of all, they don't want to do oil changes on lifted trucks because somebody twisted their ankle ridiculous and then On New Year's Eve at 2 o'clock the boss decided just to close the doors. There's other games in town don't waste your time there. They also left the drain plug on one of my cars loose. I think I'm going to stay clear of this business from now on they lost my business. I was told I will get towed away if I left my car there and that they couldn't help me with anything. And it's not their problem. I was getting the oil changed in my wife's Jeep, waiting my turn and as I'm being guided into the bay, I hear a loud bang near me. After stopping and looking around, I see a man get out of a newer SUV after hitting the building on the passenger side. The building wasn't that damaged, but the vehicle had a fair amount of damage that one would see after hitting a brick building at low speeds. It took me a few minutes to realize that the driver was wearing a Scrubby's work uniform. He was assisting a driver by driving into the bay for the owner. Poor guy had 2 kids with him. Thank goodness. The owner was calm looking. I wouldn't have been as calm. I still use Scrubby's services but I would never let someone else drive my vehicle into the bay. read more

I was having a challenge finding a quick place to get my oil changed while visiting Porland and wandered into Scrubbys. Paul directed me to a bay that was coming open and I happily followed his lead. Such a super nice guy! He had a very calm but professional and very friendly demeanor. I instantly felt like I was in good hands! He gave me my options then got started. He brought a few other things to my attention, just information without being pushy or clearly trying to make upsells. My air filter was dirty and he offered to change it for a reasonable cost. I typically would have said no and gone to an auto parts store but because of Paul, I had him replace it. Upon paying, I was also given a coupon for their car wash. Went to Scrubbys based off of other Yelp high reviews and they were true to their word. A little mechanical garage you pull into- they were quick, efficient and didn't try to sell you anything extra. You also get a free car deodorizer spray, and a free vacuum / car wash. I had a coupon and totally forgot to use it. I think it was under $40 for everything. Oh well, I'll be back for sure. Better than jiffy lube. FYI, the online scheduling system doesn't work. Just show up when you want. I went around 3pm on a Tuesday and I got right in. Located in Fairview. Definitely highly recommend for a quick oil change and other car needs. These guys are great. read more

We come here once a month and they are really good. They are fast, competent and friendly. A great business to get your oil changed. Also, they are honest and will tell you the truth. Which is hard to find in today's world. After my husband and I had a terrible recent experience with Leo's Auto Repair, its nice to know that there are still places that will give you good service and not lie to you, ignore you, take your money and give you nothing in return. They used to be good. Been there 2 or 3 times before. But on my recent visit it was poor experience. Each tire was inflated at different PSI. Dust cap was barely on almost lost them on the way home. Sat inside the car with his dirty outfit that was under the dirty floor screwing on, clumsily, the oil filter. Made me nervous enough, when I got home, to double check if the oil filter was screwed on correctly. Over-filled the crankcase by at least one quart. A very indifferent attitude service. All this for a lousy $38. I can easily find better service for less. Never taking my car back to this or any other Express Lube. From here on I will get my oil change serviced from conventional, auto service shop. read more

Hands down the best place in the area to get an oil change. Been going there for years, most recently my car has been leaking a bit of oil. I forgot to even ask them about it, but they tracked it down unprompted and let me know exactly where it was coming from. They also let me know it was time to replace my fuel filter, mentioned they could do it there but didn't pressure me. I agreed to have them take care of it. When I got home, I looked up estimates to replace a fuel filter in my make/model of car, and they were all 2-3x more than what I paid at Scrubby's. All the dozens of times I've gone there, they've been fast, efficient, honest, and super helpful. Nothing but love for Scrubby's! I'm going to edit this because I should add too; I was having other fluid leak issues a couple years ago, took it to Scrubby's and they checked it out (for free!) and told me it was transmission fluid. When I took it to the transmission shop I told them "my oil change place said it's transmission fluid" and the guy said (very skeptically) "oh, did they now?" and I said "yeah Scrubby's in Fairview?" and he said "Ohh... okay, yeah let's get it in here and see why it's leaking". So it's clear the other businesses in the area trust them too and that's awesome. read more

This is the second time I have been in to Scrubby's. The associates take great care in ensuring that the job is done correctly and see to it that additional maintenance items are checked. Brought my now-21-year-old Volvo here for a regular oil change after reading solid reviews. I took it in on a Monday afternoon--there was one open bay and the whole process took less than fifteen minutes. I pulled in, left my keys in the ignition, and they had me wait in their (rather spacious) waiting room. Quick, courteous, no nonsense, no up-selling; it's also quite affordable, and their prices are competitive with major chains like Jiffy Lube and others. I've taken my same Volvo to Oil Can Henry's (back before it was bought out by Valvoline) and I recall spending almost double what the cost was here. As others have noted, you also get a free carwash coupon and they vacuum out your car, which is nice. I've found over the years that I simply don't have the patience for all of the commission-driven badgering you get at a lot of places, and this place offered reprieve from that nonsense. Beware of this place. They don't try to up-sale you on anything but they're careless. I've had my radiator cap left off by them. I lost all my radiator fluid all over my car and my drive way. They also screwed up my oil pan bolt. I had oil everywhere on my driveway. I stopped going here and unfortunately, one star is the lowest I can give them. They use cheap oil unless you ask for fully synthetic but you'll pay for it. It's much cheaper and less of a hassle to do this manually. read more

Messed with a part of our car they shouldn't have tinkered with and left us stranded when our vehicle wouldn't start within 24 hours of their getting their hands on it. We've driven said vehicle for over 3 years prior without any such issue. Refused to come out and diagnose the issue with out charging a 130 plus dollar fee. Claimed we would be called by 'upper management' and never received a call. If you are a mother with a baby in the car and want to get stranded by some incompetent work performed unrequested and unrelated to oil that causes your car to die one day later, this is the place to go. As I've read in another review, and like many mechanics, they love to take advantage of females not versed in mechanics and give you an absolutely repugnant attitude when asked to take accountability and responsibility for what they without question screwed up. Never again. Like most companies they know that most folks will not pursue the issue beyond a mere unhappy phone call so they will never see or have to tolerate any real consequences to speak of. I was changing the oil on my car myself. The mechanic who previously changed my oil tightened the oil filter so tight I could not remove it and was beginning to damage it. I went to Blue Lake Auto and RV Repair by my house and was told they were booked a week out! Really?!? It takes 2 seconds to screw off and on with their tools. So I looked up quick lubes near me and found this place. I walked in and told the manager what I needed and I had the part. He had me drive right up and had a technician replace it.
