Throughout my time away, Amanda kept me updated with regular photos and messages, so I could see how my pets were doing, even with the time difference. It was so thoughtful of her to keep me connected to them when I missed them so much. When my trip got unexpectedly extended by two weeks, Amanda was incredibly flexible and didn't raise the rate, simply updating my invoice until I returned. I really appreciated her understanding and fairness. The property where my pets stayed is spacious and perfect for animals to roam and play, and you can tell Amanda and her team genuinely care for the animals like their own. I'm so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and reliable place for my pets. Thus, you have to be careful when grooming them because you could damage their undercoat and fur if you use mechanical trimmers. We picked PPPS because of the positive yelp reviews. We booked our pup for an appointment. PPPS uses text to communicate with you and the communication is excellent. PPPS needed vaccine records and many additional details to make sure it was safe for all the other pups at their location. We dropped off Zoey and spoke with the groomer (Bree). Bree was very aware of how to properly groom an Aussie. We had a brief conversation about what we wanted and believed Zoey was in capable hands. When Zoey was done, we got a text to pick her up. I was greeted upon arrival and Zoey was led out to me right away. Zoey looked fantastic!!! Bree groomed her exactly the way we had discussed. Zoey looked even better than I had hoped. I gave Bree a $20.00 tip. When I brought Zoey home and my wife saw her, my wife loved the grooming. My wife's only complaint was that I should have given Bree a bigger tip. I will fix that the next time we bring Zoey in for a groom.

She quickly became his favorite person and was one of the only people he trusted. Grace went beyond the walks and basic training and would sometimes ask if she could take him overnight to get him used to being around different dogs (hers) and people. He always loves these sleepover and has learned to better read other dogs and communicate as a result. Our boy has come a long way, and we owe so much of that to Grace and Lucky Dog!

He would not or could not pee or poop in his litter box for 12+ hours before I could get him into see another doctor. I had no peace in taking him back to Eastside. I ended up taking him to a different vet. The other vet thought it was Bob Cat Fever initially. I was sent home with antibiotics, pain meds, and liquid food. I followed their directions explicitly. During this time, I noticed an open wound and it was leaking out junk and smelled horrible. I spent several days tending to him and over the course of those days this hole expanded quickly. I brought him back in to this second team of doctors where they determined that it was not Bob Cat Fever. The wound would have required extensive surgery and result in immobility for many weeks. There was no guarantee of any quality of life. The underlying cause was unknown but this doctor could not rule out recent surgery (since it was so close to the incision). Also, Derryberry claimed to have given my cat a comprehensive exam and charged me for doing so. Yet the 2nd veterinarian found a heart murmur. This would have been something Derryberry should have noticed, therefore I don't believe she examined my little guy as she said she did. I have no confidence of her work and would never recommend her to anyone. Since then, 2 people have asked me who I recommend for a vet. I told them anyone but Eastside Animal Hospital.
