Great place that boarded our dog. He had his own room to stay in and the place is very well maintained. Highly recommend.

Her own dog Sonny was having behavioral issues and she sought training. Having a few years experience fresh in learning did not a dog behavior expert make. There has been an incident at her facility that she is not disclosing to the public. It involved a serious injury to a day care dog. This woman is not an expert. She's not a behaviorist. She has zero a credited credentials. She doesn't even know dog CPR. Which let dogs run with a bunch of other dogs on hot days. Absolutely would not recommend. My credentials are 40 years professional show handling and behavioral modification of red line aggression dogs. Street rescue of 115 dogs in my lifetime. Self funded. She will be boarding with them again for the next vacation I have! Plus I like the photo updates throughout her time and that I can order her room service!

I scheduled a tour in advance online, and received a very thorough explanation of the Yardstick difference. There are three different play areas for small, medium, and large dogs. During a regular daycare visit, your dog gets a short break in their own kennel area around midday, before jumping back in for afternoon play. An all-day daycare visit will run you $45, and they do offer a trial day for new guests for $25. The entire facility is cute and clean - but I have to say it's the customer service that stands out most. The Yardstick team sends me adorable (and detailed) photo updates throughout the day, reinforcing that I've left my fur baby in excellent hands. Every time I drop my dog off, they greet her by name and genuinely seem excited to see her. Big thanks to the entire Yardstick team for taking such good care of our pup! We'll continue to bring her by as often as possible for some of the best doggie daycare in town!

It was very hard to understand the lady in the office and she was talking really slow.... I let her know I was traveling and I needed to make the reservation quick as I was driving. I booked the deluxe cabin and it was super cute. Bonus that they have a laundry room that's open 24 hours and they had a mini fridge that has a freezer. I say that because I've been traveling across country staying at hotels or other KOA is that don't have ice so I have to go to the gas station to fill my ice chest where the ice is melted in a couple hours. Versus if I have my own freezer and it works good then frozen water bottles last longer. They also have a little fire pit area, playground for the kids, and a pool. We didn't use any of those but it's a great option. Just down the road is two gas stations, a couple restaurants and a McDonald's. So there's not a ton to eat around here. Make sure you go early because a lot of places close early if you wanna eat. It was nice and quiet other than the frogs and crickets. You'll see some interesting bugs and beetles around here also.
