Befor you leave your dog here make sure you're ok that they spend all day in a kennel full of barking dogs After speaking with you the other day I was excited to see your Kennel facility and as I was driving up your driveway yesterday I was even more excited as it seemed like a great place for the dogs. The two girls at the counter were very nice and one of them gave me the tour. The dogs were all in their kennels barking like crazy. Some were jumping and able to see the next kenneled dogs and they were viciously barking at each other. I couldn't understand why the dogs were not able to be outside on a mild day like yesterday. There were dogs that were clearly scared, and this really touched my heart. The fact that the kennels do not have high separation between the dogs makes it very unruly. You have two employees that are at the desk talking to each other and not interacting with the dogs. As I was given the tour I was told the dogs went out 4 times a day for about 20 min for pee breaks. What about play time and nurture time? It looked worse than the shelters. These two employees should be outside with the dogs (in intervals) most of the time ,except for probably an afternoon siesta and then at 7pm for nighttime. I advised the young lady that I could not bring my dogs here. You have an amazing place , and could do so much for these dogs. If you were able to upgrade your facility, you would be able to charge more and people would feel comfortable leaving thier dogs at Kondo Kennel. Maybe also have employees that enjoy being with dogs. The other girl there rolled her eyes at me and told me it was very loud back there. Practically every kennel was full, and every dog there was in thier kennel. They do not have enough stimulation to go in their kennel and sleep. From 10a to 2pm that's a long time for these dogs to be in a kennel. Do the owners of these dogs know this?? I wanted to email you first instead of yelping. This has really touched me.

He wasn't brushed out well, and when you run your hands through his fur, it still feels greasy like he hasn't had a bath. My two small dogs are not the easiest to groom - one is a grumpy senior citizen and exceedingly difficult to handle - the other is scared of his own shadow. Dr. Vaughn is very up front and clearly has pets of his own (I tried making my own dog food and he was honest about the cons of doing so. Upon research, he was correct). They may seem pricey to some, but if you get pet insurance (highly recommend) it doesn't sting as much. I never did understand why people look for a discount at vets. My dog is my family. They treat us that way as soon as we walk in the door. My only qualm is I wish Maury County had an emergency vet available. That has nothing to do with this facility but it worried me in the past that I have to go to Franklin if something happens.

We told them emergency care only, but that didn't stop the add on services and extra charges from piling up for things that were very non-emergency. Then when we asked about the discrepancies, they totally refused to take responsibility for not doing what they said they would do. If this place stands out, it's only because they don't have any competition. It's a local place and it shows. Obvious lack of management experience and people skills.
