This was one of the worst experiences ever!! My puppies got in a fight on the road trip to get to this location and I had to pull off the road, and got there and there was no one at the front desk or anywhere to be found in the store! My puppies were terrified bc there were at least 10 big, huge dogs in the front of the store that terrified my small puppies! No one ever came to the cash registers, so I finally wondered to the back of the store away from the huge dogs and saw the groomers. I walked in and the groomer asked me why I was there, and I told her I brought my dog to be groomed and she acted like we didn't have an appointment! I told her my dogs name, and then she said your late so you don't have an appointment. I told her it was raining and traffic was terrible and she said that they would be able to do it NEXT WEEK--after a drove 30 minutes each way! I asked her how she could cancel someone with a three hour time frame that was reserved for just being 15 minutes late--that makes no sense,l think she just didn't want to work for the next 3 hours!! She was so rude and nasty to me, I would never leave my puppies there with such a horrible nasty mess of a person!!I NO ONE SHOULD EVER LEAVE THEM ALONE WITH A DOG, no telling what they would do with your puppies if they treat you like that!! I go in to petsense about every two weeks. I get great service from a young woman named Meghan. She always has a smile, makes great suggestions, is knowledgeable about the products and never forgets my name! About two weeks ago I made my normal stop, and was "assisted" by a very unhelpful woman named Montana. By assisted I mean she rang me out. She seemed annoyed I was there at all. I went elsewhere last week, but had to stop in to Petsense again tonight. Oh my delight when I was greeted by a smile and called by name! Meghan was back! My suggestion is find out Meghan's schedule and make sure she is there! read more

Been coming here for years to get crickets. A lot of times I come in there's no one at the register. No one to greet me. I'll be looking around the store for anyone to take my money and hand me my crickets today I come in I'm next in line. I asked for my crickets there's two people behind me. He asked if he could take the next person and asked me to step aside so I do. then he takes the person behind them and then someone else gets in line and he takes the next person I stood there until he checked everyone out of the store and then I got to get my crickets. This is not good customer service I was next in line. My time is just as important as everyone else's. read more

The customer service here is beyond horrible. I scheduled an appointment for grooming for my dog for the first time at this location for 11am on Dec 7th. I show up and wait in line, an older woman was checking in the dogs. Now I admit that I did forget to bring my dogs rabies paperwork which was my fault for forgetting. They offered to call the vet to confirm. I let them know what vet she goes to and she calls, and then tells me in a very rude and condescending voice that the vet has never seen this dog and does not have her shots as she looks down to me with a snotty look as if I don't take care of my dog. I leave and then call my vet to find that they did not call the same Vet as I told them she went to, and I had them on the phone to confirm that my dog did have her shots. As I go back in to inform them of this,I told her she may have called the wrong place and she starts getting very defensive and condescending again as to not admit that she had called the wrong place and then put the blame on me for telling her the wrong place. As I am telling her this, she tells me I need to take it back a notch and gives me the fake customer service smile with a condescending look. At that point when I made it apparent that I felt she was being rude she told me how she was not being mean to me and continued to not admit fault for calling the wrong place. At that time I had confirmed with her my dogs has had her shots but decided that if this woman was so foul in how she treated a new customer that I wouldn't want this woman around my dog and told her that I would be going somewhere else. Her answer to me? Ok. That's fine, BYE. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt from the other bad review , but the previous review is right this place has terrible customer service. I went to pet sense to get some treats for my dog. I was eventually greeted. When I was ready to check out, I stood at the register for at least 10 minutes, while staring down the cashier. He was just standing around talking. I said "excuse me" 3 times before he finally acknowledged me. I said I was in a hurry (because I very much was). He did not apologize for making me wait. Once he finally came up to check me out, I noticed another employee working there, and she was also just standing around talking. There should ALWAYS be someone ready to assist you, not standing around talking. I was, however, a customer. There is no reason I had to stand there for that long just to get rung up. These employees need better management. I will no longer shop there. Walmart has better assistance then what you'll get at Petsense haha!
