Goooooodness! I had hoped this location would be different from the Franklin location, but unfortunately it's exactly the same. The employees watch for you to park and walk up and open both doors as you walk in. Immediately you are asked what you're looking for and when you say "just browsing" they proceed to ask three more times on the span of a minute. They follow you around the store which makes me feel rushed and like I can't have a second to just look at the products. Again, just like Franklin, I will not be back. I understand the business model is to be overly nice and 'helpful', but it just comes across as pushy, aggressive and very annoying. read more

The workers are awesome and have great CS skills. They are so friendly and love my Ember. My Ember loves them. . I like how this company gives their customers a free product after the 12th one. This includes the giant bags of dog food. read more

An employee usually opens the door when I get there and welcomes me. I am always checked on to see if I need help or have any questions. Everyone that works there is super polite & helpful. They will carry your large purchases(bags of food) out to your car which is extremely helpful when you have kiddos with you. My kids love going to say hello to the resident cats that live there. read more

Amazing service!! Highly recommend. The girls there were extremely helpful & helped my husband & I find the food we need for our dog. There are so many options and they helped us find the rights treats for our small dog. They also helped me find the cutest sweater for my baby & then carried our stuff to our car for us! As much as I love this store because of the more unique and healthier products they carry I just find their customer service model a little annoying if I have to be honest. Anytime I pull into the parking lot I feel like they're just staring at me in my car waiting for the perfect moment to open the door for me, when I walk into the store I feel like they follow me everywhere I go even if I know what I'm looking for and I vocalize it. And lastly as nice as it is to walk the products out the door for me it's just not necessary. Last time I was there all I did was buy a bag of cat food it was already in my arms and the girl behind the counter was like "oh I can take that out for you "and I said well it's already in my hands it's not a big deal haha Everyone is very nice but I just find the customer service model a little cringy and too aggressive. read more

The moment my daughter and I arrived, a young man named Had a smile on his face and the door opened for us. He immediately asked me if I needed any help and showed and explained the different things I was looking for. My daughter quickly found the store cat, Magic and the young man reached behind the counter and let her play with a laser with the kitty. Prices are a little higher than say your Petco or Petsmart. But service was superb and for being a smaller store, their selection really was great. We will be back, thanks Mr. K for your help today! read more

Convenient hours and super knowledgeable staff. My Pekinese has a wheat allergy so high quality, grain free food is a must have. The selection at NPP is impressive and I like that they have all natural treats and chews that are not from China. I won't shop anywhere else simply because of their outstanding customer service. They open the door for you, help you pick out your items and bring them to the counter for you, they provide dog treats when you bring your pup in, and they carry your bags out to the car for you. The entire staff feels like family to me now. Extra plus: their buy 1 get 1 free sales on their canned dog food (purevita) helps me stock up and save money. We love Nashville Pet Products! They always have plenty of staff on hand to assist customers. They have great customer service, opening doors for customers, helping you out to your car, etc. We love their assortment of dog food, and especially love the knowledge of the employees. It seems like they always have specials going on, and we're happy to be part of their rewards program. When you buy a certain number of bags of dog food over time, you get one free. This location has been great, but we also love the other Nashville Pet Product locations. read more

I don't know what the other person is talking about. I come here about every two weeks and yes them opening the door for you could be strange for some people but I see it as they are a small business and they are able to do it so they do. I walk in and tell them I don't need any help and they have never followed me around. They carry good quality food and help you carry the bag to your car. read more

I have been to this location several times and I am very irritated with the employees. They are over-the-top with opening the door and pouncing on you the moment your foot enters the store----can i help you with something like you aren't even allowed to browse----I'm like--- well i'm just here to buy cat food.....then they proceed to stand behind me and breathe down my back while I'm looking and labels and making selections. They could be friendly and make small talk while doing this but it makes me uncomfortable. It isn't like i'm in there with a big sac and baggy clothes---i'm not trying to steal anything so I don't need three people watching my every move in silence -----I have three pets in my house and they are spoiled rotten and I spend lots of money on them---I will take my business elsewhere after the few times i went here and had the exact same experience each time...The franklin location is not like this..... read more

This store has taken the time to truly inform their employees about the products they carry. They also are courteous without pouncing on you. If you just want to browse, they let you do so. Love this store! The employees bend over backwards to give you fabulous service. They are extremely knowledgeable and if they don't have the answer for you, they will find it out. I store very much- and especially the new manager, Carrie, who has been very helpful on several occasions with recommending foods for a pet who is not only picky, but seems to have difficulty digesting most food. Her recommendations have been spot on.The store is immaculate and well-organized. They carry a quality assortment of just about anything you would want or need for pet, but the space is not so large as to have difficulty finding your way around. The employees are helpful and polite-but not intrusive. I've found the assistance I've received here in the past several months, invaluable. In previous years, as another reviewer mentioned, I did find the experience a bit suffocating. It was hard to simply enter the store browse at my leisure. With the current management and staff, that is no longer a problem. read more
