Here's the update from last posting: I've been continuously using the service and they have worked better and careful about the items around the house. This is pretty helpful for my household. The bottom line is that I totally recommend the service and I like their price is very reasonable!! Prior posting: Owner lady and her partner was really nice and provide very good service. Unfortunately, their crews are not. Three ladies came to my house to clean, but one of them obviously doesn't like her job. She wiped some areas roughly and left my house, waiting for the rest of others. Another lady was ok but she messed up my grill/oven badly. These two girls kept chatting and chatting, and that's really annoying. I contacted owner, her response was very quick, which I loved. But If the owner isn't at presence, and you don't speak Spanish, I think it's hard to give the direction of what you want. read more

I moved into my very first "this is my own" adult, sign my own lease, womanly apartment on my birthday last year. And what a horrifying birthday it was. The management assured me that my 1920s Long Beach studio (it's just blocks from the beach--well, Long Beach beach) would be clean upon move in. Come move in day, finger deep layers of dust, distinguishable and indistinguishable insect carcasses abound, too distinguishable bodily fluids in the bathroom, hairs in the shower, a smell that has never, EVER left the fridge or freezer, I could, but won't, continue. It wasn't clean, is my point. After a desperate call, even though it was after hours, Victoria and her crew ensured me that I would be able to sleep that evening. They also made sure my cat didn't escape. Due to confidentiality, I cannot disclose what I do. Just trust me when I say I'm not easily disgusted. Yet in order to clean the bathroom and kitchen these poor women did some things that I truly questioned. In retrospect, the only suitable cleaning company for this apartment would have been a forensic one. For that alone, 5 stars is warranted. Also, they showed up on a last minute call, which made a harrowing week much easier. Yes, the price was a bit high for the size. I did find a few things that could have been cleaned better. At the same time, considering the monumental task of the filth at hand, I can't blame them for missing a few corners. After they were here, I never felt scared to sit on my floor or use my bathroom again. If you had seen how it looked before--you would know that is high praise. In summary, have and do recommend, hope to hire again with little hesitation. And I did get sleep that evening. read more

Staff was prompt, very polite and efficient. They did a fantastic job. We paid for the move out package and were not disappointed with the cleaning. We have dogs and they were able to clean the baseboards where the dogs like to lay and remove all of the dog hair. If you have dogs, you know dog hair is near impossible to remove completely. Why three stars? Upon later inspection, I found they had broken a window blind and tried to put it back like it never happened. Now I'm not upset that they broke the blind as accidents happen. However, I am upset with the fact that when the service was finished they did not tell me what happened. Rather, they just charged me and left, hoping I wouldn't notice. All in all, cleaning was great, but can't vouch for their honesty. Sadly, I don't know if I will be requesting their services again. read more

With regret, I have to update this review and reduce the 5 stars to 3 for the following reasons: - they've forgotten a few things at my place including a rag, vacuum attachment, and a sponge with hair in my kitchen sink. - the cleaners accidentally took my cleaning product with them. - the cleaner forgot my key and I was asked to leave my home unlocked. I didn't keep it unlocked and despite my request, the cleaning was never rescheduled. - my gallon of bleach doesn't smell like bleach anymore. I wonder how the smell changed?! - My kitchen trashcan was broken. Thankfully they partially compensated me. Why didn't I just drop this to 1 or 2 stars? Because they did a good job cleaning. Absolutely amazing service. I scheduled the cleaning about a week in advance (via yelp!) and the owner said they would arrive between 1230 - 1pm. I mentioned I had to leave promptly at 1pm for an errand, and to please arrive on time. The owner offered to come herself and greet me in case the cleaners had any issues finding my address... such a nice offer!! The cleaners arrived at exactly 12:45 and were aware I had to leave as soon as they arrived. This level of communication and service is why I will happily re-book with Scrub.
