I had my first updo in over 10 years, and absolutely loved it. Kelly did an AMAZING job, and I cannot wait to return for a haircut when I'm in town in July. She did this really sleek Mad Men-era pony look on me, and it lasted all night. I also had my makeup done and was beyond impressed. I wish I had 10 more formal events to go to so that I could have Haley do my makeup. It was so light and classy - I felt super sophisticated with the hair and makeup combined. I may have my makeup done for my sister's bridal shower, just because. I'm that obsessed with the look she did. The total for both services before tip was $150, and it was entirely worth it.

R. Collective & Colleen are the BEST! After moving to MI a few years ago, one of my first to-do's…read morewas to find a salon for not only great hair, but to have some me time & connect with people. I used to 'stylist hop' because I was: a) not happy with my hair b) felt the conversations were super forced c) appointments took wayyyyy too long & the stylist would overbook. Well, in Colleen I've found the perfect trifecta - I literally have the healthiest /best hair of my life, I love going in to see her/ the conversations are so fun (so is the wine they offer lol), and she takes time to discuss my hair goals / what's realistic for getting there, AND I'm not there for an entire day- she's on top of her stuff! I've never had more compliments on my hair, nor have I ever loved my style this much. If you're looking for a fab place for not just a haircut but an experience, look no further than R. Collective & Colleen :)

Victoria did my makeup for both my engagement photos in November and my wedding in July, and she is truly an artist. I do not normally wear much makeup, so I was not sure what I wanted, but she took the reins and made me look flawless, glowing, and completely myself. Luigi worked magic on my hair. I have very thin hair, and he somehow brought my updo vision to life. He did not just copy the inspiration photos I showed him, he created something uniquely perfect for me. Aidan, my coordinator, was amazing. I walked in not knowing where to start, and he guided me through the entire process with warmth and clarity. He even helped me add my sister-in-law to the schedule the day before the wedding so she wouldn't feel left out. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we had coffee, water, and anything else we needed. Todd's Room made getting ready one of the most joyful, stress-free parts of my wedding day. I am so grateful to the entire team and would recommend them to any bride or bridal party looking for top-tier service and artistry.

I feel like it's pretty common to think you're gambling when you're going to a Drybar, but the salon had quite a few people in there and everyone's hair looked amazing. She did a phenomenal job of asking if there was a special event, and recommending styles based on that and my outfit. Also really wanted to highlight that I get nervous getting blowouts as someone with pretty curly hair as I've left salons in the past with poofy hair, so I made sure to mention it when making an appointment over the phone and was happy to hear that they had quite a few people that could work with textured hair! I added on the liquid glass smoothing sealant as well, and could definitely feel a difference! The entire staff was incredible, will definitely be back!
