I wanted to install automated Hunter Douglas shades in our living room after having the manual shades in our sunroom office for nearly a decade (provided by another business). I knew exactly what we wanted after researching this item for several weeks, but i still had a bunch of questions for, Bob, the owner. Every question i asked he had a insightful, measured answer that made complete sense, he knew the product inside out. I made calls to six vendors in the Seabrook/Hampton NH area to solicit quotes for the window treatments. Bob was the first person i called and from the start i could tell The Blind Gallery of New England was going to be the "one". Other vendors came close to Bob's pricing but it was the level of knowledge and his friendly nature that convinced me. We arranged a time to meet, Bob texted on the ride over to tell me he was running 14 minutes late! giving me an exact ETA (wouldnt it be nice if every vendor did this!). He measured up the windows and we chatted about the install, the product and next steps. Fast forward two weeks and the window treatments are ready. We again arranged a time, an exact ETA was sent and Bob arrived on time and installed the window treatments (on a Saturday no less, this man is committed) while i watched the English premier league matches. Bob set the blinds up in my smart phone app and walked me through the pebble remote and its operation. The product is amazing, automated blinds are a luxury, i get it, but they are so nice and finish off the room exactly how i wanted it. Bob was an absolute delight from beginning to end so much so that we are now talking to Bob and his team about installing additional automated Hunter Douglas products in our dining room and bathrooms. I recommend Bob and The Blind Gallery of New England without any hesitation, 5 Stars across the board!

I got a few quotes from vendors I had reached out to on Yelp (thank goodness for Yelp) after first trying a personal referral from a friend that went poorly. I had two vendors come over and I like the brand of product that Paul brought for cellular shades, Comfortex. They had all sorts of beautiful colors and textures for the fabric cellular shades I had, and it was hard to choose! Another vendor I had come to my house did not have this brand, but had a brand that did not offer a fabric black-out cellular shade. I am really glad I had ABC Shades come over first so that I could see what was out there first. The shades have been installed and they are beautiful. Everything from start to finish was smooth and everything about the process was seamless. Having these new shades have really perked up the appearance of the 3 rooms I had them installed in. I knew they were not going to be cheap, but the fact is that these are custom-built for my windows, and I was able to select a lovely fabric. I also selected a higher end fabric so that I could get exactly what I want because I actually keep my shades closed almost 100% of the time, so I want to make sure I like looking at them. While we live in Boston and Exciting Windows is based in NH, Ed Hopkins arranged to come down to Boston with samples several times while we were trying to decide on styles. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He was also very careful in taking measurements and reviewed the order with us in detail to make sure all of our options were accurately reflected before it was transmitted to the manufacturer. Exciting Windows also had some attractive deferred financing offers, which we were able to take advantage of. The shutters are custom made so it takes several weeks for them to arrive, but Ed kept us apprised of the estimated arrival date. He worked with our schedule to set up an install date and the installation went very smoothly. Unfortunately some of the shutters were damaged in-transit from the manufacturer, but Ed had called us in advance as soon as he realized this and given us the option of having the handful of damaged shutters installed and then replacing them when the new ones arrived. This worked out great because we really wanted the privacy provided by the shutters in the meantime. The damaged shutters were replaced at not cost as quickly as they could be reproduced. A few months later, I discovered that one shutter had some damage to it that we hadn't noticed earlier. Ed came down to Boston to see how best to handle it and determined that it was best to replace it at no charge. The customer service has been exceptional and he really stands by his work. I highly recommend Exciting Windows as we were very pleased with the customer service, the competitive pricing, and the quality of the product. The shutters look fantastic and we get compliments on them regularly!

He came over with samples, made suggestions and we said Yes! We had new blinds and cornish done for our first floor and just Wow! What a total upgrade. Sure they are expensive but the finish on the cornish and blinds are outstanding! We also had him add room darkening shades in our bedroom and man, thdd ex quality of sleep is noticeable. We have six really big wide 6 foot windows and added the top cornish plus two 3 foot wide normal windows and the entire job came in close to $5 grand. But the finished product added at least twice that to the value of our home. I usually don't spend anything like this but bayside blinds added such a great look to our home. Dave was pretty chill and such a nice guy and would not take final payment until the job was 100% completed. Can't recommend him enough.
