Home Depot advertises big discounts, but the reality is that they are selling you last years' leftovers and quite often, you wait weeks longer than they say it will take only to find out that your paper is out of stock and not available anyway. We went here after we had three separate paper orders at HD fall through the cracks for various reasons and we have never looked back. First, the service is outstanding. They are friendly, helpful, and know their business. Second, their prices are very competitive... much better than we expected.... comparable to any discounts offered by the larger retailers. And finally, they are close to home, right here in town, and they bend over backward to get you exactly what you want. They have some really neat accessories, and while the fabrics are a bit pricey, to be able to get the fabric that matches your paper is huge and you generally don't need that much anyway for just a decorative element. The personal service we got was a breath of fresh air after the nightmare of ordering from a store that consistently let us down in this area. If I have any complaint at all, it's that the signage made it hard to find them. But they have plenty of parking (around the back of the store, where the main entrance is) and once I figured out where they are, they are very, very convenient and easy to get to. And check out the bargain area out back..... we actually found one of the papers we had ordered but not been able to get at HD ("out of stock") in their clearance bin. From the moment I walked in, I felt like nobody wanted to talk or work with me. I spoke with someone (purposely not naming names) who pacified my time there. I had a specific vision for what I was looking for and was disappointed in what he showed me. He told me they could work with my design and that they would text me and email me some information and I would be able to text pictures of my current bathrooms and we could get started from there. It has been over a week and I have received zero follow up. No text. No email. Nothing. I tried to call the store and the owner answered. I didn't know he was the owner and I tried to ask for a manager or someone who I could follow up with. I was told he was the manager and he was with a customer and I could call back. Didn't offer to let me speak to someone else in the store. Didn't offer to get my info and call me back. So, clearly I was dismissed again, so now I am done. I guess if you don't walk in wearing diamonds and clearly displaying your bank account balances, your money isn't good enough there. Not sure what you have to do to be taken seriously enough to get some follow up. But the owner seems like quite a jerk. Follow up is everything for a small business. If you're looking for proactive people who want to help you with a bathroom remodel, or remodels in my case, keep looking.

Next two projects I went back to waters and brown. Heidi helped me match pictures and made spot on recommendations. I brought in samples and images and she gave great choices to match or coordinate. Then over to the counter for the actual paint. John couldn't be nicer and more helpful (plus he actually remembers me by name and project). Some projects easier than others. More complicated (expensive) projects he gave me questions to ask my contractor and alternatives. I so appreciate the service here. It's second to none and the quality can't be beat. They've earned my loyalty and I'll return the favor by encouraging anyone to go here first and last. This is how a customer centric business is run.

The house had been flipped by a contractor who had left some of the paint but not this particular one. We knew the paint had been purchased at this store so we brought a small chip we cut from behind the heater in the room. Cody waited on us and he was phenomenal. He brought up the contractor's purchases and then used the paint analyzer to try to match our chip to the purchased colors. He knew just by looking at our chip that it was satin finish (as opposed to flat or eggshell) and was able to match the paint exactly. You can't tell where we painted over. He was also very helpful with some other questions we had. We will definitely go back to this store for other projects requiring paint or stain.
