I came in her looking for help remodeling two bathrooms in my home. I've never done this before, so I decided to find a place with a showroom to get some help. From the moment I walked in, I felt like nobody wanted to talk or work with me. I spoke with someone (purposely not naming names) who pacified my time there. I had a specific vision for what I was looking for and was disappointed in what he showed me. He told me they could work with my design and that they would text me and email me some information and I would be able to text pictures of my current bathrooms and we could get started from there. It has been over a week and I have received zero follow up. No text. No email. Nothing. I tried to call the store and the owner answered. I didn't know he was the owner and I tried to ask for a manager or someone who I could follow up with. I was told he was the manager and he was with a customer and I could call back. Didn't offer to let me speak to someone else in the store. Didn't offer to get my info and call me back. So, clearly I was dismissed again, so now I am done. I guess if you don't walk in wearing diamonds and clearly displaying your bank account balances, your money isn't good enough there. Not sure what you have to do to be taken seriously enough to get some follow up. But the owner seems like quite a jerk. Follow up is everything for a small business. If you're looking for proactive people who want to help you with a bathroom remodel, or remodels in my case, keep looking. read more

I have a project. I needed CHALK PAINT. I was short on funds. The young lady suggested another option & she saved me a great deal of money. They have gorgeous flooring carpets, area rugs, & cordless shades. I bought 3 for my slider. I personally Love them. The shades come in array of colors, darkening & so on. I like the clean look, easy care, & no ugly drawstrings! You get what you pay for. Good product cost more for a reason. They have flooring to chandeliers. Five star experience to be sure. Need to repaint the kitchen ceiling and apparently didn't have any leftover from last time. It was an opportunity to change the color slightly from a boring old white (specifically Decorator's White in the Benjamin Moore collection) to a slightly softer tint (Oxford White). Probably no one will notice except me. ;) Once I decided on the color, discussed paint options with Epping store manager, Crystal. This young lady really knows her products and she doesn't try to up sell. She saved me a fair bit of money with the paint, rollers and brushes, assuring me I will still get a good end result. I took advantage of the Yelp deal, $95 voucher for $75. Crystal also told me about the free paint samples, by signing up for a text alert. About once a month an offer will be available to get a free pint of Ben Moore or California paint in your choice of color. Great way to try a new color if you have a project in mind. Even if you don't, you might get inspired to start one! I had no intention of redoing the main bathroom, but I got a sample for it. Oh boy... LOL Oh, and we got onto the subject of dogs... What can I say, I find dog people everywhere! Crystal is a kindred spirit in that sense, and quite open to having well behaved dogs come into the store. Love that! I usually like to go to a place a few times before reviewing, but this place made me so happy yesterday that they really deserve five stars now. I came in after an awful experience at the local hardware store. A terrible, rotten, ruin my entire day type of experience. Exeter Paint was so helpful and awesome that they turned my day around. When I first went in, a newer employee mixed a perfect gallon of paint for me (after listening to me complain about my bad experience at the other place, which I totally appreciated, and it helped calm me down). He gave me tips on the best paint brush to use, and how to best clean brushes (I can never seem to get them clean enough). He waited patiently while I took forever to decide if the color was what I wanted, and offered to get a color expert to adjust it if I wanted. Just after, the manager came in and was just as helpful as the first employee. She gave me tips on how to decide if it's the right color once I got it home, and offered to change it before I left, but also let me know that I could change it later if I needed to. I left feeling happy about my purchase, and more confident (I'm new to home improvement). They really could not have done a better job as far as customer service goes, and I'm writing this from my newly trimmed room that looks amazing thanks to their help. read more

If you need to match a paint ask for Hunter. He is like David Blaine of paint. I had been to 4 stores and nine paint colors and could not find just the right shade. I was looking for a warm historic taupe/gray and they were either too dark, too light, too blue, too yellow, or too reflective at night. It was so stressful as we were on a time deadline and needed to have the kitchen painted before the flooring and countertops were due to be installed. I brought my flooring sample and a valance to the store and Hunter looked, listened and went to his cabinet of paint samples and within minutes like magic- he had pulled the perfect color. He suggested using an egg shell not a satin to help with the reflective issue and he was a 100% correct. Our kitchen looks amazing and everyone has commented on the paint color.
