A second floor screen had blown out one to many times during a windy Boulder day. The local Marvin window retailer here suggested Screenmobile. After making an appointment with Sue, Rick showed up. He looked at the screen and realized it wasn't a simple project. He took the screen with him and said he would be back in a week with a new one. Rick came out to my house to build a new screen door for my sliding glass patio door. The door he made is great. It slides smoothly and has a quality feel to it. While he was here, I also asked if he could build screens for two casement windows that were missing screens. All the work was done on-site and completed quickly. Rick has been to our house multiple times and each and every time- we are super grateful and appreciative of his work! He has fixed screens destroyed by giant dogs, cats . He has built new screen frames on site and replaced screens. My favorite thing that he does- which I swear is magical is he repairs the sliding screen door- not just the screen but the track and how the screen door rolls on the track. Unfortunately, their location doesn't work in the area we were interested (motorized screens), but they called me back to let me know AND gave recommendations for other vendors/dealers to contact. What I like about Screenmobile is that they come to your house and measure the screen and make sure the one they build fits. I hired them to replace a missing window screen and replace a double (French) sliding screen door. The screens look good and fit perfectly. They also repaired a gouge in the sliding door rail. We had Screenmobile of Boulder/Northwest Metro Area come out to replace a window screen and to install a custom measured sliding screen door. After dealing with all the cheap and flimsy sliding screen doors that don't fit properly, fall off the tracks, or get yanked off their rollers, we decided it was time to find something of quality. We called Screenmobile and Sue scheduled an appointment for the replacements. The new sliding screen door is fabulous! Rick did a wonderful job! It fits snugly, slides smoothly, and is a quality screen door. The window screen replacement looks great as well. In fact, we decided to have Screenmobile come out and replace all the screens and even one of the frames. We are also having a regular screen door installed to replace the cheap screen door we bought at a home center store.
