During our full house renovation my husband wanted Lutron automated screens installed and he contacted Screen Solutions sometime March 2026, geeez these are expensive but they are really nice. The crew that installed them were awesome on Oct 2025, although one of our bedroom screens squeak when it goes up and down. The issue was the drapery for our main bedroom, it was made incorrectly. Instead of 2 draperies they made one large one. They took them back to have them fixed. At first they said it would take 2 weeks, then we didn't hear back from them (left in the dark) until we asked in November and they said the draperies would have to be produced again which may be ready between December/January 2026. January comes along and no updates so I emailed them on Jan 6th for the status. They said it should be here by Jan 15th. January 15th passes and I emailed them January 16th that we no longer need them. They replied to me January 29th confused as why I don't want them anymore and are kind of low key giving me the customer a hard time. Honestly, we've been really patient and 3 months for a mistake done by them shouldn't be the customers fault for not needing them anymore. read more

Our house was built in the 1950s and the screens were either original or installed within 10 years or so. Roller style. So very old and difficult to re-place. Which is why we had not done so despite the holes and coming away from its tracks. Finally, I scheduled a consult with someone on TaskRabbit. He said there was one company that could do it in this area--Screen Solutions. I wish we had contacted them a couple of decades ago! We had five windows done, all custom, and the results are fantastic. The windows never looked better, and there are a lot of frustrated flies, mosquitos, and spiders now looking in. Our first consultant had in mind one way to accomplish the job which would have required us to replace a strip of wood on all the windows, but when the screen installer came, he thought of another way of doing it that would not require any "clean-up" work, and was willing to re-order the blinds if we were willing to wait. After decades of waiting, of course we were! We are really pleased with the results and the willingness of the company to re-order custom shades at no additional cost. I asked a rep, at Dolan's Windows and Doors for a recommendation on retractable screen doors. Without hesitation, he replied "Phantom!" It was then a matter of finding the local retailer for Phantom and I found Screen Solutions. Last summer I spoke with Debi West and she was terrific. Talked through all the options and considerations. The Phantom website had some misleading information, about the screen options, so I appreciated speaking to her. I decided on what I wanted, but I had to wait until my new back door was installed. That was done in the Fall and I waited until March to call Screen Solutions. We settled on April 1, pending weather. In the interim, friends of mine had 2 retractable screen doors installed by Screen Solutions and they were very pleased. Bryan and Javier showed up at 8 am. I had retractable double-door screens installed by Screen Solutions (made by Phantom Screens). I'm writing this immediately after installation, so I haven't used the screens much yet, but I'm very happy with Screen Solutions. I recently bought a house that has double out-swing doors (French doors), and I didn't even know if I'd be able to find a good screen for them. Perhaps my situation is more common than I think, as Screen Solutions have a showroom that showed exactly what I needed. My first reaction was to balk slightly at the price, but here's how I look at it now. Firstly, Screen Solutions charges a bit less than the price estimates given on the Phantom Screens website. Secondly, you can buy Phantom Screens from Lowe's for about 60% of the full professional installation price, but with major caveats: figuring out exactly what you need is already a huge challenge, and if you read the reviews, most people were unhappy because most people had installation issues. After arriving at my house, it look Screen Solutions about an hour to customize the screens to my door, and then about half-an-hour to install them. And the screens look and feel great. I'm sure I could get the hang of the installation process after a few dozen doors, but the chances that I would have much success with the very first door is quite low, and it would probably take me all day. Not to mention that just knowing what the options are to know what options to choose would be daunting. So, I'm quite happy with the professional installation. They came out the day after I called to make the appointment. Everything went smoothly and professionally. read more

Arrived exactly as scheduled and he did two things that I absolutely appreciate so much, he put the door magnet lock higher so we could close the door if needed with screen in place and he had a sash that better matched our door jam. We have recently completed a big re-landscape of both our front and back yard. One of the last things we did was to add phantom screens to the back porch. I can't say enough positive things about Screen Solutions. Debbie was super friendly, responsive and helpful, and John did a fabulous job on the installation. We love our new Phantom screens! The locking mechanism is far superior to the magnetic lock on our other retractable screens and they operate flawlessly, and efficiently (especially on our double French doors when we only want to open one of the two doors/screens). When Debbie heard we had retractable screens from another vendor on some other French doors in the house, she said to let her know if we wanted to upgrade those at a later date. At the time I was perfectly happy with our existing screens and thought there was no way I'd want to replace our fairly new (~2 years old) screens. I am happy with my screens. The process was simple. Had to wait for install as they are very busy. The installer was pleasant, qualified and even cleaned up after himself. Lifetime warranty. However - the other part of business is window dressings. I wanted to install blackout blinds. The sales person is weak. Had to call office a few times to get response. His communication and enjoyment of job is missing. Debi in the office is the middle man and is is responsive. The window blind installer was SUPERB! He was kind, very thorough, explained it all and took his time. I am very happy with the results and look. In closing, they need to improve their sales process. Bought a Phantom Professional retractable screen door from here after investigating a number of options. We liked the Phantom's magnetic latch, which other manufacturers did not have. We also considered buying this via Lowes, but ended up buying directly since it was same price and we were already at the showroom to see the screen in person. After ordering was told that if we had gone through Lowes, the magnetic latch would not have been included. Ordering did not require a deposit; just needed dimensions and color. But had to wait a long time (6+ weeks) for an installation date. Installer showed up on time and took about an hour to install. The screen door works really well. The installer also gave a bottle of lubricant. Only problem on installation day was that the installer said there was a $50 extra fee for the color I had chosen. I was not told about this when I ordered. Called the office and they said I only had to pay $25. I wish they had told me about it when I ordered. read more

We are old Screen Solution customers with our first screens installed in 2001. We had some new French doors put in and contacted them again about either new ones or reinstall our 16 year old screens. My apartment's roller blind (installed by another contractor) was broken. I checked the manufacturer 's web site and found out that Screen Solutions is an authorized dealer. Called them on a Saturday afternoon (not even supposed to be open). But the owner Steve answered the call. After explaining to him about the problem, he asked me to bring it in and he might be able to fix it. Sure enough, Steve found out that the connector was broken and quickly replace it.
