So I have a small business of which I provide uniforms to my employees as well as I have a small…read moregrowing retail opportunity. I have been going through Custom Ink for the last 5 years. Although they have great customer service, unfortunately their pricing has tripled and their quality has diminished. So I decided to search for a local screen printing company that I can build a relationship with of whom I can reorder with regularly and reliably and who I can use to grow our business opportunity with. I read a review where Absolute Graphix was recommended and they are located very close to my office so I gave them a call. I got a hold of Lisa who I explained what I was looking for, not only in product, but wanted a company that I could build a relationship with and will regularly reorder from. She asked me to send her an email detailing my product needs, including our logo and she would get back to me by the end of the day. Come Tuesday the next week, I hadn't heard anything back so I called to make sure that my email had been received. The gentleman I spoke with stated that he saw my email on Lisa's desk but she was not in that day. He said he would make sure to let her know I called and he was sure she would get back to me. It is now Thursday, I have still not heard anything back from Lisa at Absolute Graphix. So I sent an email expressing my disappointment at not hearing back and that I didn't feel this was the kind of relationship I was looking for. This was her response.... "Nicki I'm sorry you feel that way. This is an extremely busy time of year for us. Not only are all the schools starting up and need their spirit wear as well as several other shops in the area are no longer in business & we seem to have picked up quite a bit of overflow from that. Having been in business for over 23 years, I am sure we've disappointed a few people along the way but our overall customer satisfaction is obviously pretty good or we wouldn't still be here. I wish you well in finding a printer that you can have a good working relationship with. Lisa Gibbons Absolute Graphix Inc." Wow, a simple apology and explanation would have gone far. Or even a response to my email when I sent it to state that this was a busy time of year and she would not be able to get back to me for a week. To not hear anything at all for almost a week and then receive this kind of response just confirmed my decision. I'm glad to find out how little my business means to Absolute Graphix before I wasted anymore time with them.. I'll keep you posted when I find a print shop who appreciates their customers and provides reasonable customer service.

The total job I went in for was to print two color photos in 11x17" glossy pictures. Total cost was under $2.00. You read that right. You can't even buy a cookie for that price anymore!. This is the service I got for my 2 bucks. I brought in a frame I got at Goodwill, but did not think to disassemble it and clean the glass. Mesfin graciously took the stubborn brackets off the back, exposed the glass, took off the sticky price tag that was stuck on the glass, and Windexed both sides of the glass. He then unscrewed the thingy that you hang the picture to the wall which was attached to the back if the picture was to hang vertically. My picture needed to hang horizontally so he reattached the thingy so I could hang it properly. They printed both pictures in color which I sent to them via email. Then put the one in the frame and the other in a bag for me to take home and put on my refrigerator. Yes, I'm obviously a VIP. Haha. They are still in business after many years so my little job is not paying the rent. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if all businesses had such customer service?
