I am the owner of a design firm in Chicago. I recently contact Topnotch to provide a quote for a…read moreset of t-shirts for internal marketing purposes. The job included a set of male t-shirts and female tank tops. Initially, the project was moving along just fine. However, some issues needed to be ironed out regarding the tank-top. The white tanks were too sheer to be acceptable in white. I requested to see the product in two other colors available, light pink and light blue, to determine the contrast level between the ink and textile. This is a normal step in the determining accurate printing. I was told by the representative, Tom L., that he felt I as a customer would never be satisfied with the end product. Seriously? I'm placing an order for about 100 T's and Tom is concerned that I want to be as accurate as possible? What a joke. Tom told me that he did not want my project. I guess Topnotch Silkscreening is NOT concerned with attention to detail. Clearly, Topnotch is FAR from providing a top notch product. If you want a vendor that has little regard for high-end production standards, look no further.

I recently ordered tshirts from here - it was a simple order (atleast I thought it was) and they…read morekept making mistakes. The initial design they had asked me to approve was nothing like the design I had sent them. Then, I had paid for underarmour material shirts but received plain cotton. When I notified my sales rep, he email me back with "Hopefully they can live with it." Which in an email, can be misinterpreted, but it was just off-putting and not the response I was looking for - plus it didn't seem professional. On the postive side, they were very accomodating and helpful, the sales rep was fairly good about getting back to me; I needed the shirts in a hurry and they did meet the deadline... (the reason for my 2 stars instead of just 1) They did try to make up for it however, in my opinion, it just wasn't enough and definitely not worth the hassle. I can't say in all honesty that I would go back to this place or recommend them to anyone.

My friends and I nearly lost our pierogis when we read this. The kid handed us a flyer and told us the t-shirts could be found at this local store called The Junkyard. We made our way to this store in the heat of Summer to find this "cool" shop reminescent of the stores in my stomping grounds of Chicago. Cool T-shirts, many which are transfers. You know, where you pick the t-shirt off the wall and the image and they press it on for you (very old school). My friends and I ended up getting Pierogi T-shirts but also some cool transfer t-shirts with fun sayings on them and my other friend nabbed a cool Misfits t-shirt, wallet and belt buckle too. The decor is cool too - lockers with t-shirts hanging on them, cool pipes or something hanging from the ceiling, old tires (thus the name of the store I guess). Cool music was playing, the owners were two young girls I think (or so it seemed) but it was crazy busy when we were in there so we didn't get to talk to anyone really. If you're in the area, stop by the store. Very cool stuff if you are looking for great t-shirts and INEXPENSIVE. Our Pierogi shirts were $10, and the Misfits one was $12 (the custom made transfer ts were $12 too) - that's a bargin. In Chicago I pay $25 for the same t-shirt. Check them out if you haven't yet.
