What I love most about the ice cream is how thick and creamy it is. I really enjoy the quality of the ice cream. The amount of ice cream that you receive for the price is amazing! For your popsicle needs, they do sell some ice cream truck favorites such as Bomb Pops and Screwballs. For your cone loving friends like myself, Screamers has a variety of ice cream cones whether you want a sugar cone, waffle cone, waffle bowl, or even fresh waffle bowls dipped with chocolate and toppings! Did I mention their large variety of sundaes, parfaits, and tornados? Good luck trying to find just one thing you want. The day i went, it snowed a ton, and there wasn't anything to prevent snow and water from trekking in, so the floor was soaked pretty much everywhere. i give this a 8/10, what could be better is that the inside could be a bit cleaner, but I'm not paying for the cleanliness, so won't matter that much, happy with the ice cream. Value: By far the best value, most ice cream places I'd be spending 6-8$ for an ice cream milkshake, but this place left me spending about 3.99$. I guess inflation has not hit this place yet as almost everything on the menu was really cheap compared to the portions. I give this a 10/10 in value. Taste: Tastes great for the value! I mean, you're not gonna get the absolute best for what you're paying, but for the amount you pay, it definitely tastes pretty good. I'd say nothing really unique about it though, the tastes are very similar to any other small ice cream shops you go to. Can't complain though if you're paying 3-4$ for what is normally 5-6$ at other establishments. My Aunt and I stopped here a few weeks ago and wish we knew why we didn't stop here sooner! It's a hidden gem! The menu was quite large and had so many offerings from sundaes, parfaits, tornados, and so much more! They had screamaccinos, which was iced coffee, ice cream and a flavoring. That sounded really good! They also have my beloved dirt sundae, which I can't wait to try! I had a small banana split tornado while my Aunt got two Sanders hot fudge cream puffs. All the items were huge and we were left bringing home leftovers for the freezer. I could literally taste each and every ingredient in my tornado. For three items it was around $11. That's a steal for how much we got. My Aunt was completely fascinated by all the Tigers memorabilia throughout the place. She kept saying "I have that same thing in my house!" We used to love this place, but took the family one day in early spring. It was slow since it was out of season. But we have been there thousands of times with the entire family and take the kids after some sporting events like after their karate tournaments. Well, the last time was very different! The wife tried something new & ordered the banana cream pie Tornado. We took her for her bday. It was horrible! We hated it, after having literally hundreds of different flavors there, this one was just made really bad. The entire tornado was literally ALL crust. So I agreed with her and usually don't send things back. But this really didn't even have much ice cream, just crust!. We took it back up to the counter and they explained they had someone new make it. So I said, that's ok, that one was practice?!? So we asked if we cld have something else instead or a new one without it being filled with crust or just put some ice cream in it. Nope nothing. They wldnt do a dam thing except tell their long term customers they are screwed and had to keep that garbage! I mean we tipped well for good service, but I guess tipping for good service doesn't mean amything?!?. The girl just shrugged her shoulders and said nope she cant. There's NOTHING she could do??? Nothing at all??? We showed her it was almost ALL entirely crust and she agreed. But still said there's NOTHING she can do and just shrugged her shoulders at us. Even after we had tipped her very well, for an ice cream. We have NEVER been back and have no plans to EVER go back now. They lost a lifetime family of customers, over some stupid crust! Way to go! Great business practice! Screw the customer when you don't know how to make ur own product!?! Really? Trust me, in the long term, you just lost significantly more than some stupid pie crust. I came here on a Sunday evening to try to satisfy my husband's chocolate malt craving. The prices are very reasonable. I got a small twist in a cone which had a generous portion for only $1.75. The ice cream tasted really high quality. My husband enjoyed his chocolate malt as well! I'm glad to know about a cute, local ice cream place that we can hit up on summer evenings. Screamers had been recommended to me on a few occasions, but I never found the time to visit. Let me tell ya, I wish I had gone much sooner. I enjoyed everything about our visit. It's small on the inside, but the atmosphere, friendly service, very reasonable prices and huge menu selections are what make a visit here so worthwhile. The menu board is very colorful and inviting and easy to read when there are so many selections to choose from. We sat inside and watched some of the Tiger game and admired all of the baseball memorabilia that fills the walls. I ordered a Brownie Bite Tornado and my husband had a Banana Split. Both were very generous sizes and well worth the money. This is a very friendly, clean and neat little place that deserves more visits to try the many choices they offer. There is baseball memorabilia covering the walls (mostly Detroit Tigers), which I personally loved. The staff (who I believed to be the owners) were a delight.. Screamers is flat out the best place around this location for soft serve. Their prices are much, much lower than the other places nearby, and their ingredients are much, much better. I'll give you an example. Here, the Hot Fudge Brownie Sundae is only $3.75, and is more than enough for two people to share. I usually eat half when I get it, then freeze the other half for another day. Also, they use a whole large brownie that tastes like it must be homemade. Their rotating flavors are always fun to try, and they have usually have some unique items on their menu, such as a chocolate or strawberry cake-like bowl that you can have a sundae in. They have plenty of outdoor seating in the front and back, and there's even some indoor seating. The place is always very clean, the staff friendly, and service quick. This past summer I didn't even visit my old ice cream haunt, but went to Screamers instead, and they have never disappointed me. read more

Owner was working and she shared the business has been around for 10 years--and it's clear why. Prices are more than fair considering the generous servings and quality ingredients (homemade!!). There is a vast selection of cold novelties. Everyone is sure to find something they like. Note the ice cream is soft serve rich and delicious. Our family tried the tin roof (generous top quality pecans!!!), hot fudge brownie (3 huge homemade brownies!!!) and raspberry sundaes. Also tried one of the amazing coffee mix tornados along with a simple commercial snocone. We thoroughly enjoyed our treats at the nice outdoor tables. If you chose to stay inside there's a tv and lots of interesting baseball memorabilia. Definitely varied conversation pieces for all the baseball aficionados.
