We've been here a few times now, and I think it's our new go-to breakfast place. Food is top notch, and the staff is friendly, if maybe a LITTLE slow sometimes. They do a good job with the refills, though, always a benchmark of attentive service in my book. Prices are a good value, especially for the serving size. Decent breakfast. Lots of seating. I ordered a veggie scrambler and wanted some substitute ingredients, and it was no problem for them at all. The hasbrowns were delcious and crispy. A great place to quickly eat breakfast and then leave. My waitress did not offer me refills of coffee. I brought my laptop to work and after about 45 minutes was blatantly asked when I was going to leave. I understand that the waitress only had a few booths that were assigned to her. Multiple things could have been done to offer better customer service: 1. Asked me nicely to move to another empty table since there were DOZENS of them. 2. Offered your waitress another table that she could have waited for 3. Pay your servers more! TBH I have never served before so don't know if it is normal to only pay your waitresseses $2 an hour. What I do know is NOT NORMAL is to tell your customers they need to leave because their employees only get paid $2 an hour. I tipped 50% of my bill and would have tipped more if they hadn't been rude. I understand that when you hold up a table you should leave a good tip. read more

We had John as our server. Very attentive but not very conversational, directly to the point with no small talk which didn't bother me because the service was on point. He recommended the blueberry lemon French toast. The flavor was great but the French toast was dry. My daughter ordered the avocado toast with no pico, it came out with pico which had jalapeños so I sent it back. They scraped off a large majority of the avocado and brought it back with pieces of pico still in it. Turkey bacon wrap didn't have much flavor. Chicken fried chicken was amazing, one of the best I had. Sam came and asked how everything was, very sweet man. Art was very professional. We had a party of 5 and the total with a $15 tip was $84. I really had a wonderful experience today when I came here with my son . I like the customer service and how welcoming the staff and owner Tim are . I think the customer service is phenomenal. I ordered a egg white omelette with jalapeños and mushroom and onions , with a side of Hashbrowns and my son got chicken tenders and fries . I also got a side order of banana Nutella crepes . The food was like the Hilton breakfast quality very well presented and delicious. The crepes were one of the best I have ever had the crepe was light and fluffy , very fresh . My husband and I ate brunch here and will definitely recommend and will be back!! Walking in the doors you immediately notice the beautiful decor. It's such a nice feel & look. My husband ordered the gravy train with french toast and grits. I ordered the chorizo skillet with scrambled eggs/hash browns and pancakes! And all of that did NOT disappoint. We were greeted by many staff members and even got a very sweet treat from the owners!! (French toast with blueberries & a cream cheese lemon glaze) omg yummmmm!!! This was our first visit and from entering to leaving the service and hospitality were excellent. All the staff were wonderful and Dennis, our server wanted to know our names. We also met the manager, Sam, and both owners. Everyone on staff maintained COVID protocols used and all tables are well spaced, great atmosphere and variety of background music genres. Wonderful food, abundant portions and nicely priced. Coffee was rich and smooth. Their own hot sauce is excellent. We are giving this recommendation to family and friends. We will be back. read more

Good breakfast! Love the previous restaurant. But I love this one as well. Some of the waitress are from the previous restaurant. So, lots of familiar faces. Foods are good. Good selections available for everyone. Not fancy plating like some places out there but the food is great. More towards clean palate type food. Not the greasy kind. Definitely will see me around there often, as often as I can...I think. I still need to try their migas with chorizo... omelette... Skillets... Crepes... French toast.. waffles... I have to say I found a great breakfast place close to my place!! It has got a nice ambience with great service. I wasn't expecting the food on the table so quick looking at the crowd on a sunday morning but they did it. Stopped by here while visiting some friends on the way out of town. Was very glad I did! This is exactly the breakfast I was looking for and I was not disappointed. There was a lot on that plate and I nearly couldn't finish it. Everything was cooked to order and the service was quick and efficient especially for as busy as it was. The food here is good and while there was a crowd the wait was not long at all. In regards to the food you do get a nice portion for the cost so the money is well spent. The issue I had was with the cleanliness and lack of acknowledgement. We ordered lemonade and when it came out the glass has black spots all around the outside of it. I ordered the "combo" and when it came out there was hair in the food. When we sent it back there was no apology from the waitress or even a quick my apology from the manager. I was visiting the area for a graduation event. The first morning there I decided to venture out for breakfast and rediscovered this place. The last time I was there we ate at this location and at that time it was under different ownership and a different name but it was good before and I decided to give it a shot. I. Ordered the Denver Omelette with a side of grits and whole wheat toast. The omelette was super light and fluffy and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Outstanding service! The restaurant has great lighting ample space and is nicely decorated. I had the Bacodo Omelette, grits and pancakes. Carmel latte and water. The omelette is huge I could only eat half. The avocado was fresh and the restaurant has a hot sauce that's the perfect addition to my omelette. The hot sauce is also sold by the restaurant and I purchased a bottle. The grits were creamy but needed salt. There was not a hint of salt. I like my grits with salt and butter. The pancakes were perfect and the warm syrup was the the only topping needed. I don't eat much so I packed over half my meal to go. The only thing I would say is missing the ability to have a Mimosa or 2. This is a hidden gem. Not over priced and the service is TOP NOTCH!!! Normally, I have a good time eating here, but my last visit was unpleasant. The café wasn't busy at all, and the host tried to sit me in a corner somewheres with a bunch of people that was just seated. I could tell he liked this waiter/waitress because that whole section was full I requested to sit in a different place he flat out told me no and stuck me on the other end of the restaurant with a little table that I could barely move my elbows. I notice a few minutes later the table I requested to sat at he said to young kids there. Don't get me wrong. I understand about taking up the bigger tables with one person, but it wasn't busy at all and then he turns around and only seats to people there not cool at all. I went with a big group of good friends who have been there before for brunch and they did say this place was good and so were the reviews so away we went. The restaurant is really clean and good looking. The waitstaff was excellent, great service... Where I was left underwhelmed (pretty important!) the food... Maybe it was what we ordered, we ordered the Avocado English Muffin Benedict, and the Chipotle Chicken Panini. The Benedict was smothered with a lifetime supply of Hollandaise sauce, way too much sauce. The Chicken Panini was just eh, nothing special, with the overcooked fries it came with was also a miss. My friend ordered a meat lovers skillet that looked great, kids ordered the Crepes that looked good as well so maybe it was what we ordered and I may give this place another chance. I was worried the only place around you get a good real breakfast free from "corn-syrup" from was the "Original Pancake House" restaurant franchise, but Scrambler Café does things right with fresh OJ, real maple syrup, and decent coffee. Definitely come check it out if you are sick of the junk they heat up and serve at IHOP, Waffle House, or your local spot if they're the type that cheaps out with the corn syrup stuff. read more

I had the chicken and waffles, they were okay I wish they would've had chicken tenders rather than a chicken patty... but other than that pretty good. My bf had the crab eggs Benny- he thought the crab kinda overpowered the meal but it was still good. Over all will go back again and maybe order something different. Came here on Saturday, Feb 19th at 11a. They get overwhelmed easily on the weekends. Stood at the front for about 10 minutes only to be passed over by the girl at the front for people who just walked in the door. When I told her I had been waiting longer she just looked at me and moved onto the next person that butted in. So I left and unfortunately never got the chance to eat here. No point in dealing with this when there are plenty of other great places to go. My observation on just standing around up front was that the wait staff are so swamped they don't know which way is up.
