My kids love this breakfast joint. They are all about the pancakes, hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and turkey bacon. From time to time the burger too. Today I got the crepes with a drizzle of Nutella, so good. We will consistently be back.

This is nice little breakfast place perfect for families nearby. The atmosphere is that of an upscale diner. We arrived with a party of 5 around 9:30 on a Sunday. I understand that it can get crowded, but we were able to get seated right away. The menu is vast with a lot of options. There were lots of great egg and hash brown options on the menu which sounded wonderful. I was happy to see some healthier options as well. I ended up choosing the smoked salmon avocado toast. I thought the colors were nice and bright, especially with he fruit on the side. The portion was perfect, though I was unable to eat the full meal as it came with a side of two eggs. Coffee was good and service was great. My water and coffee were refilled regularly throughout the meal, which is one of my favorite things about going out for breakfast. All in all, this is a solid breakfast spot.

Oh my goodness!! This was the absolute best decision for breakfast this morning! Everything was so delicious. The service was great and we were seated very quickly. Around 10am it started to get busier and there was a small wait but they are very quick to clean the tables and get you seated. Prices are also very fair for the amount of food you get. For people that don't drink coffee, they also serve hot tea.

I was in Murphy,Tx after leaving a customers house! I was starving for some breakfast/brunch .. I found this place only 5 minutes away and headed that way. I had the ribeye and scrambled eggs with hash browns and sourdough bread.. it definitely hit the spot and fueled me up for the next few hours!

The hash stack looked amazing, but the meats were a little chewy. The scrambled eggs were undercooked. I like runny eggs, but not scrambled, runny eggs. The buffalo chicken wrap was huge! The chicken in it was juicy and fresh out the oven. Our waitress was friendly. Service was very, very slow. It didn't help that we came straight from church and were very hangry. It took forever to get our food. There's other breakfast restaurants in the area with faster service, so I am not sure if we will return.

We had a party of 7, so the wait was about 30 minutes. Not too bad, considering. The food was sub-par. The corned beef has was weirdly greasy and dry - quite an accomplishment. The coffee was really watered down and my partner had a sweet tea that smelled like dirty dishwater. The saving grace was the cinnamon toast - it is literally so good! They have great biscuits and eggs, my brother in law had an amazing looking chicken fried steak. Stay away from the hash, coffee, and sweet tea and you'll be golden. The service wasn't terrible but also nothing to rave about. It's a quaint little place with some decent options.

There are lots of weekend breakfast places around Murphy, but Scrambler is worth the short wait on Sunday morning. Excellent, interesting menu, friendly, quick service and good food. I had driven up from Austin on NY Eve to meet my family. I was early and had 30 minutes to hear the calm, cheerful greeting from the hostess to every single new arrival. If the success of a business relies on hiring and training great people, then The Scrambler Cafe has a great future ahead.

This restaurant is usually packed on Saturday mornings, but the service is always great. It is my favorite spot for steak & spinach. It's a clean restaurant with a homelike feel. The steak has great flavor and it is always cooked right.

Scrambler Cafe is such a great breakfast & brunch spot! My mom ate here over the weekend and I absolutely LOVED THEIR FOOD! The croissant sandwich is sooooo delicious and those hashbrowns! SOOO GOOD!!! If you're wanting something sweet, try the chocolate chip pancake! Their pancakes are GIANT! Service was seriously so great and everyone here is kind! I left in such a happy mood!

We had a very lovely brunch here at the Scrambler in murphy. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and delicious. The cook even did a sweet special order by turning the "Mickey Mouse" pancake into a "Minnie Mouse" pancake by adding a little fruit for her bow. My daughter loved it! We enjoyed the music and atmosphere. The restrooms were decent, but the floor felt sticky and it wasn't the cleanest. And no paper towels really makes the experience not as enjoyable. But great food and great service.

Food was medicore at best. No refills. Waitress did not check back on us. Tip (18%) was added automatically which is not stated on the menu. We were 4 adults, a teen and a kid. The service was not worth it even though I would have given her 15% for her average service. Apparently they count 6 people - including kids - to force through their tip. The manager Josh refused to reverse the charge and told me they CAN automatically charge tips for 6 people even if the service stinks. Pushy & arrogant. read more

Don't like the coffee but, LOVE the food. The location and the others are family run, and staff was always plentiful (even mid-pandemic times!) Not the cheapest, but the ingredients taste very fresh and not skimpy. Have a few dishes that I continue to always order, since they include cooked Red Peppers, NOT green ones! lol Thanks and see ya soon! read more

This place is really great , walk in greeted and seated, atmosphere great not to loud and the noises are what you want to hear . Service amazing great on suggestions and prompt. Had the BLT and a Bacado omelette both were delicious. Definitely a must if your in the area and hungry. read more

Amazing food and service. We went today for brunch and the food was superb. They also sell an in house hot sauce that's smokey and spicy all at the same time. Menu offers a variety of items that will satisfy any hungry customer. Coffee is the best one I've had in any breakfast joints. Would definitely come back! read more

My husband & I have eaten here twice. The service & the food are awesome!! Consistency is everything when it comes to where we eat and this place has it We didn't even realize they've been open since January. We really haven't gone out to eat much due to COVID-19 so when we do, we want our food/service to be good. We will definitely be back, for sure read more

Love this cafe! The guys who run it are always nice and welcoming. My family and I feel like family when we come into the scrambler. Their crepes are amazing and so is their coffee. This place hits the spot! Great owners and staff make for a welcoming environment. We had the Hash Stack as recommended along with a very berry waffle and it blew the doors off anything sweet I may have had at other places. The coffee is superb and the service is on par. Their Manager, Sam, is an exceptional customer focused professional and very on his game with over 40 yrs of restaurant experience. Great food, for great service ask for John! He's the best. Crepes are amazing and the coffee is top notch. I go a lot and there's been one time where we weren't 1000% satisfied but the management was very receptive to some minor critique so that tells me they care for their customer's needs and concerns. read more

Great place for a weekend brunch! Went there this weekend for a family brunch and called in a reservation ahead of time. I'm so glad we did, because the restaurant was PACKED! We were immediately seated after arriving on time for our reservation. Our wait staff was friendly and courteous as always. We had the Very Berry French toast along with a Hash Brown scrambler. Had breakfast here today at around 10:30. There was a short 5 minute wait for a table for 2. The place was crowded but the staff was fast and efficient. Why this location has had 3 nearly identical breakfast spots open as the last one closes, idk. BUT, this one is by far the best tasting! I went within there 1st 2 weeks of opening so service was lacking, but I noticed that the managers were aware and tried to compensate for it so no biggie. I ordered the pancakes and a friend ordered the avocado toast and both were delicious! best pancakes ive everrrr had. Definitely go here instead of IHop or dennys no question! read more

OMG! if you have not gone to this place you need to go ASAP!! their food is excellent and the management is excellent!! The inside of it is so cute and on a busy morning the wait time really isn't bad compared to IHOP or Denny's. you get seated quite quickly and the team will clean up right after you leave nobody is standing around doing nothing. read more

Loved this place! Everyone loved their food. The Hash stack was awesome! I had just skimmed over the menu before ordering and there are atleast 4 other items I want to go back and try. The food all came out very fast, hot and tasted fresh. And when I saw other customers food it looked fancy and well put together. This place is a perfect place to go for breakfast brunch and lunch! Husband got the farmhouse, a hot coffee and a blueberry muffin, I got the all nighter, a coffee and a cinnamon bun. His muffin actually tasted like a sock. My bagel was completely flattened and had almost nothing on it. The tables were all filthy too, we had to clean it ourselves. A few hours later, he threw up and had diarrhea for a few days, and I ended up missing my flight back to Canada because I was nauseated and vomiting so much. DONT. GO. They had traditional Chinese-American fare but a few other lesser known options. Their lunch portions were massive. I played it safe with orange chicken and steamed rice but asked them to amp up the spice. It was $10.99 and is easily enough for two people. My mom got the Singapore noodles which had grilled veggies plus chicken AND shrimp, and again the portion was huge! For $13.99 I think the meal was a steal; she had at least a half dozen large shrimp buried throughout the noodles. We both had doggy bags. I will be back! Staff was very nice. It wasn't very busy, and I hope they're able to make it. It's nice to have a Chinese restaurant that offers decent sit down and take out service. Check it out!

Scramblers in Murphy, Texas, is a moderately sized establishment with about 30 ish tables, of which only five were occupied during my visit, end of the lunch rush at 1pm, close at 3pm. I ordered a Gravy Train Omelet, an enticing dish stuffed with cheese and accompanied by a biscuit smothered in gravy, along with coffee and water. The food, particularly the omelet, was quite enjoyable. However, the service significantly dampened the experience. My initial request for salsa and a water refill was overlooked, forcing me to contend with dry hash browns. It took 15 minutes before the waitress reappeared, and despite asking again for refills, she attended to another table and neglected to return. After an additional wait, I requested my check and left, feeling largely ignored. Despite the promising menu, the service was disappointingly inattentive, earning Scramblers a 2 out of 5 rating. The restaurant has potential but needs to improve its service to ensure a better dining experience. read more

If you are looking for a great place to eat breakfast, brunch, or lunch.... Scrambler Cafe in Murphy is the place to go. I have not had anything there that wasn't delicious or fresh. The Bacado Omlett is one of my favorites. The Reuben sandwich is huge and comes on your choice of bread. Meal portions are generous so bring your appetite. The entire staff is courteous and kind.
