I love Scout. When I first started looking for a good pest control company a couple years ago I had to be super picky. We've got chickens, dogs, cats, fish and turtle tanks, tortoises, and at the time of seeking a company out I had a bunch of tarantulas, a macaw, and a bunch of reptiles. So finding something that would target pests, but not my babies, was crucial. While I dont have a lot of those animals anymore because we stopped rescuing and had to downsize for a new baby, the main reason we went with Scout was because of the product knowledge that was provided. Ben came out and we went over my pets and what pest issues we wanted targeted. He explained what chemicals were used, how they target different issues, the behaviors of pests and WHY they target things in the manner that they do. It's not JUST a job for them, and making a point to know what youre doing and offering helped build my trust tremendously. Over the time they've been our regular pest control we've had 3 other companies try to talk us into switching, but none of the other ones offered the knowledge and control methods while also offering the best bang for our buck. I have been using Scotts Pest Control since this summer when we discovered brown recluse spiders in our attic. I am happy to report that the spiders are gone! I have been impressed with the consistent professionalism in this company including the initial contact, the monthly service visits by the technician (usually Frank), the communication from the office letting me know when the next visit will be and follow ups afterwards, and rescheduling is a breeze. Kelsey, who schedules the appointments and analyzes our needs, is always very friendly, patient and accommodating. A new technician, Alex, came by the house today to perform a treatment. From the moment I opened the door, Alex was very polite. He asked questions about the treatment that I needed, did not interrupt or jump to conclusions.
