I wouldn't hire Scotty to mind a house plant. I hired him to complete over $50K of landscape while I continue to have issues with sinking block work. I hired him to install over 1000 sq ft of cottage coble(which he kept selling) with which I continue to have sinkage issues. Although he had his workers compact the DG, he didn't have them run a course deep enough to substantially secure and retain the wall. I've had him come out and rebuild one part of the wall(to his dismay!) while the opposite side of the wall continues to sink. Additionally, he installed a firepit in the middle of a weed-infested area that is continuously dry from lack of irrigation, which he "engineered." Needless to say, I have used three extinguishers to prevent my property from burning down. Keep in mind I hired someone to manicure my property every other week. Please review his work and focus on his placement of blocks and softscape. His work at first is aesthetically pleasing but functionally it'll bite you in the end. I'll admit I went with him because he was the cheapest contractor and I've regretted my decision for the last eight years. Please do your due deligence before hiring this guy. read more

Three years later, everything still looks wonderful, and when we have the occasional question or problem, Scotty is readily available to provide help or advice. So when we decided to do our front yard, there was no question who we should call. His crew just completed the front yard, and it's exactly what we wanted - clean, simple, attractive, almost maintenance free with drought tolerant plants and drip system so no hand watering. I had a collection of agaves in pots, and he integrated those in along with other plants we purchased to add color and texture. They are small now, but we left plenty of room because these guys will get huge! I am looking forward to watching these succulent gardens flourish and grow. By than I told them I was disappointed that it took so long to get back with me and I was going to go with another landscaper. A few days latter I thought I should give them another try so I called and left another message for them to please call me. Two more weeks and still have not herd from them.
