I had let it go for far too long and I was not able to get it under control on my own. Luis took one look at it and assured me he'd have it looking good in no time. I was a bit worried after hearing his quote (it was much lower than the two others I had received) and only having a few reviews, but I took the chance and he greatly exceeded my expectations. He was easy to communicate with, quick to respond and very professional. He showed up on time and his crew completed the job in a timely manner. The attention to detail and quality of work is the best I've seen. Luis showed up after the job was complete to inspect and ensure his crew had met his (and my) expectations. As mentioned the work was meticulous but they did miss a branch or two that I wanted removed (a miscommunication on my part) but Luis told me they would return in a day or so to get the branches taken care of at no additional cost. It was obvious to me that Luis takes pride in his company. He builds his reputation with quality work and fair pricing!

We had a few changes in the overall design process, but the final was with just enough size to have great spacing since it's a really small backyard here by the coast in Carmel Valley. Appliances worked very nicely, both the BBQ and Side Burner and did not get damaged on installation. In addition, they capped off a stone wall with some caps, then applied stucco integrating the look together. The pictures don't show how happy we really are. During a project like this, Tim and Ramon, conduct themselves in a professional manner. Very meticulous work, no crazy damages, etc, etc. Would give them an excellent in overall conduct. Just have to finish by getting the flooring painted, then the backyard transformation will be complete.

Words cannot express how impressed my wife and I were with Majestic Hardscapes. But we'll try...and…read morethe photos should help provide some context. After becoming first-time homeowners last year, we quickly built a wish list and began prioritizing projects. Solar and pool repair were must haves with summer approaching, and next on the list was getting rid of a decomposing wooden outdoor staircase with ridiculously oversized and hazardous wood block steps. After consulting with Bryan, we immediately felt confident in his approach and began a fun collaboration to update our property. As the project got underway it became apparent that a simple replacement with a different material wasn't sufficient. No, we imagined something grander -- which kept evolving -- and resulted in what can only be described as a work of art on our property where dirt and rotting wood once stood. Bryan's crew -- Benancio and company -- are a world-class team of builders and problem solvers. To this day, my wife and I can't believe our good fortune that we had this crew all to ourselves for the roughly month of time that the grand staircase, hundreds of feet of new pathway, additional patio expansion with a new gate, and front courtyard gazebo garden took for them to complete. We miss them! We won't miss them for too long, though, as we 100% plan on booking Majestic Hardscapes again for ambitious future ideas we dream up here at home around the property. Thank you for your care and concern for our home, guys. You are truly masters of your craft!

Bryan and his team have quality workmanship. Not only are they super humble and professional but…read morethey always informed us of the process on how the work would be done, if there would be any issues, and any suggestions regarding future plans. Even though the quote was not the lowest, it was reasonably priced and they were the only contractors that answered a lot of my concerns. I had several quotes from numerous contractors and all; expect Majestic Hardscape, just give me a price. This was concerning to me because we live on a hill and the side of our yard slopes. Every contractor just suggested laying concrete to the way it slopes so water would run off the hill. Bryan was the only one who suggested that this will need further attention, such as a retaining wall in the future otherwise it will just get worse over time. They were able to level the concrete the way we wanted and recommended us to eventually level the rest of the yard in the future. They even went out of their way to take some of our old stacking bricks and used them as a temp retaining wall to aid the sloped yard. I highly recommend Bryan and his team and look forward to working with them again in the future, thanks again Bryan!

I used Edgar and crew to renovate our backyard that included building retaining walls, new fence,…read morenew turf, mulch, concrete flooring, several retainer structures to plant trees, irrigation, and planting several trees. The crew is very hardworking and don't cut corners. They take their time and do a thorough job. Communication could be better but it was not too difficult. I changed my plans several times and added new work but Edgar was very accommodating.

Our old deck was severely cracked from root damage. After having then trees removed, we got…read moremultiple estimates from other contractors. We settled on Jimenez Landscaping to replace our entire concrete pool deck because of the good reviews and their estimate was significantly lower than the other companies we had come out. It took about a month start to finish, due to the fact that there is only one concrete supplier in the Escondido area. However, they did all the demolition and prep work ahead of time, so everything went as scheduled. Their attention to detail was pretty impressive. All four of our patio beams were all rotted out and needed to be replaced. They meticulously took down our outdoor speakers and carefully re-installed them once the posts were replaced. The concrete turned out beautiful. Some plant leaves seem to have gotten into the mix and left some little holes/blemishes on the surface in a few places. However, I know concrete isn't an exact science and that sort of thing can happen. Regardless, its much nicer and was installed better than the old concrete. The old concrete didn't even have rebar. Unfortunately, a few pieces of rebar fell into our pool and made rust stains on the pebble-tech surface. However, Edgar immediately sent out a pool guy with some acid and he cleaned it up perfectly. I have to deduct one star for this: They forgot to re-install the hand-rail for our swimming pool. First they accidentally hauled it off with the junk after doing the final clean-up (which could have been better), but Edgar assured me they still had the hand-rail and it would be installed after the concrete cured. I brought it up again during the final walkthrough and was told that Edgar would personally install it the following week. Months have now gone by and I have sent multiple messages to Edgar. Multiple times I was told it would be installed the following week. I have now given up. I think they lost our hand-rail to be honest, so now we have to buy a new one and install it ourselves. PS: I wish they had cleaned the concrete residue off the bricks around the pool, because I cannot figure out how to clean it off. Would I recommend Jimenez Landscaping? Yes, but I recommend staying on top of them at the end of the project to make sure cleanup is done a little better and nothing gets lost/misplaced.
