Wading pool with slide in the background
Josie C.

Located in Pearl Harbor so you must have a military or DoD ID to use this facility. Lifeguards are present and they're very helpful and courteous. There is a separate picnic area you can reserve for parties and a wading pool for children 6yrs and under. The pool is not heated so make sure you go on a very warm day or be prepared to jump into the ice cold water. The pool consists of a waterside and 3 rock walls. Very entertaining for all ages. Bathrooms are clean and private and private showers have warm water and soap.. And the best part, to use this facility is free so no complaints.

super slide!

Haven't been to scott pool in years, but it's the same as ever. We actually attended an after-hours pool party so I can't say how busy their regular business hours are, but it's a great spot for a teen birthday party. The kids all loved the super slide and high dive. We were able to bring our own pool toys too (aka mermaid tails for some pool practice swimming) About 4' is as shallow as it gets.

My kids and I love this pool. It has full shade kiddie pool lap swim, rock climbing wall, water slide and I think is a 10' diving board. It has a good shade spot. Thers vending machines too. Kids have to pass a swimming test to get a pass card and every time they come back they just put a armband. If they don't have tha band they have to be with an adult all times. Lowest depth is 4'

Go here a lot in the morning for Divers workouts. It's not to cold, and it's a pool. Not much to dislike!

Our second visit we let the life guards know when checking in that my oldest son was practicing for the Boy Scout swim test.

Great classes and lifeguards! The pool is always clean and the surrounding areas are well kept.read more

I'm an avid swimmer - for exercise and for recreation. However, since the advent of COVID-19, the…read moreswimming opportunities have been scarce at the Nuuanu branch of the YMCA (where I'm a member and where I normally do my swimming workouts). When times are available, they are limited to a mere 50 minutes and require reservations in advance. Frustrated, but accepting of the situation, I resigned myself to swim as much as I could in 50 minutes and accept any reservation times I could secure. The other day, I was walking my doodle with my wife and children through Pauoa Valley. When passing by Booth Park, I noticed that there was a schedule for lap swimming at the pool. Heck, I didn't know lap swimming was available at a community pool. Curious, I walked up to ask if there were open swim times. I was greeted and informed that there are 5 lanes and it's first-come-first-served availability at the listed times. WOW! Today, Sunday, since the Y is closed, I figured there's no time like the present to try out my new find. I headed over and, low and behold, I was able to immediately start my swim and I was able to get my ENTIRE pre-COVID workout in. I'm stoked! The lifeguards are helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and refreshingly cool. I look forward to spending more time here making my shoulders ache.
