Photography is the love of my life. I'm very involved with it. From a Nikon, a Canon, a Trail_Cam, and a Drone. "The Show Must Go ON"! For one of the projects I'm starting to work on I needed a Tripod. So as always I went to Rowe photos. Rowe's is a full stock photo store, They do it all. And they have used cameras, parts, etc. I walked out of there with a next to new Tripod for $5.00. :) If you ever have questions or needs regarding photography, I strongly suggest this store. Briefly stopped in to see if they could fix my camera shutter on my point and shoot. Unfortunately they couldn't but I appreciated the honesty and explanation of the cost and benefit and fixing it. There are many camera options too if you want to buy in store, and all the accessories you can imagine. I also liked the film drop off outside for after hours. This place is the go to spot for film! They are pretty quick with developing, sometimes they can get it done within a few hours! I ran into a small issue the other day because my photos got misplaced, but they were very professional about it and was able to resolve the issue in minutes. Don't go anywhere else in Rochester to get your film developed. read more

I'm no photographer, but I dabble in disposable cameras when I find them. After frustratingly paying a lot more than I wanted to to get photos developed at Walgreens (including a multiple day wait), I stumbled upon the local Scott's Photo. The photo turn-around was really fast, the service was stellar, and the price was very inexpensive compared to what I was expecting. Dropping off, picking up, and viewing the photos was ridiculously easy. I don't know if I will get back in to disposable cameras again, but if I do, I will definitely get them developed here. read more

It is so great to walk into a local small business & not only receive the help you needed, but to be engaged by friendly & knowledgable people. I just dropped in to see if someone could remove a lens stuck on my camera. That was fixed in a half minute, but I was able to learn several things from a wonderful employee who took the time to show me functions on my camera. At first impression, nice people willing to help. After returning an item I didn't like, the vibe changed and the willingness to help turned drastically different. Good camera/photo/video stores are becoming increasingly difficult to find, but Scott's (Rowe) photo is definitely one of them. Their staff is actually knowledgeable about cameras, film and accessories and can help you find what you need! They also still develop film and do prints and scanning. Amazing place! read more

Scott's Photo is the only place I know of in Rochester that still carries KODAK 35mm Film! I appreciate that! Plus they also do C-41 Processing right in the store it's Great! So bring your 35mm rolls of film and they will process them for you. Your pictures will be ready in one day's time. They have a small but nice selection of photography gear in the store, and a lot of frames. Lots of photo frames. The only thing they lack; & I mean lack, is customer appreciation for loyal patrons. One day prints and scans is hard to beat! Dropped off five rolls and they were available for pick up same day. Prints are nice, and they digitize them for you at a good price! I've sent five friends here, all had a tremendous experience. read more

I recently had a digital enlargement printed at Scott's photo. After the postal service folded the box in mailing it, I returned to Scott's for a reprint. Tom made repeated prints until he had perfectly matched the original print. He went out of his way to satisfy a customer. read more
