Especially the hotel lobby they need to figure out the horrible smell as you walk even my kids were like what's the smell I'm like that's dingy casino smell....just a very mediocre at best casino experience craps staff is horrible and makes playing no fun which was a bummer. Instead of engaging and having fun with the players , they bitched and complained about where we tossed our bets on the table. I have played craps at every casino in WA and never had this happen 5 of us left the table because it was dry and boring to play. Played a few slots really tight so bailed quick. Definitely not a great place to test your luck on slots lol Overall was $500 total for 2 hotel nights so nor bad but the casino is not worth it unfortunately. One thing that was also annoying was the line for the ATMs serious figure that shit out and get more ATMs half of the were "out of service " I would 100% spit this place for Tulalip or angel of the winds any day !

So here we are at the Silver Reef Casino. An open area outside of the crowds. We called the local number to make our reservations and to avoid these online reservations agencies that just inflate the prices. We ended up with a nice hotel with clean rooms. Our room has queen size beds with a medium firmness. This room is clean and spacious. It has a large flat screen TV, a decent sized mini fridge, a dresser for those of us who like to unpack. The A/C unit heats nicely. There is a large vanity for the bathroom and the tub shower offers shampoo and body wash. The bonus to staying at a casino hotel is the addition of security. Less worries about your car. Then there's the restaurants that are available, here there are 5. So there it is, well kept rooms, plenty of free, secure parking, and on site restaurants as well as some adult entertainment before getting some shut eye. Much more relaxing here instead of being in the crowded big cities with minimal parking.

I wish I could give this place less than a star. Mrs. Kumar is the rudest general manager I have…read moreever dealt with. I stay at Motel 6's frequently. Upon check-in, Kumar seemed rude and put out to help me. We exchanged the necessary info for a hotel room. Accordingly, she asked how many people would be staying. I said, "It's just me." Then went on my way. I had a friend from town with me. He helped me unload the car and carry my bags to my room. As we are opening the door, the phone rings. It's Mrs. Kumar. I say "Hello." She replies, "Why did you lie to me?" I asked her what she was talking about, to which she replied "Who is that other with you?" I told her he was a friend from town and was helping me unload. She continued to call me a liar. Then her husband came into the picture. He continued to offer me a refund. I got my refund needless to say. However, in the process, Mrs. Kumar also up-charged a couple for their small dog, which Motel 6 online booking said was no charge. I would have ended my use of Motel 6 entirely, but luckily the manager over this area's locations assured me that the appropriate actions would be taken against Mrs. Kumar and gave me a gift certificate for another stay at my discretion. Whatever you do... DO NOT STAY HERE. There is a Super 8 less than a mile away. They are great people and even laughed when I told them the story and said "You aren't the first guest that has come over from THAT Motel 6."

I like Springhill Suites because there is value in the price and because it is Marriott brand it is invariably clean and well-managed. This Springhill Suites, like all of them, offer oversized rooms with a large sofa, a work station, and a mini-frig and microwave. In the room we stayed, the toilet was separate from the main sink and shower. This hotel also has a large fitness workout area, a heated pool and hot tub. Free breakfast is included in the price and it is pretty extensive so there is something for everyone. Best of all, the hotel is quiet. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Free parking. The hotel caters to families so there are kids to make friends with in the pool. The only negative is that this hotel is physically attached to another Marriott property. You literally walk down the hall and go from one hotel to another. You can get on the elevator in one hotel and get off in another. It is rather easy (at least for me) to get lost as to which hotel I am in and where to go. Sometimes it seems like a maze. The hotel personnel is friendly. Overall, this hotel fit our needs perfectly. It is not necessarily upscale but the price is good, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, and the location is convenient to the city center and the myriad outdoor activities in Bellingham.

It's right across the street from Bellingham airport but I didn't hear any airplane noise. The blackout shades are great and kept out 99% of the light. I loved the pool area. It has a pool, sauna and hot tub and the ambiance is nice because of the wood lined raised ceiling and the outdoor deck area. (We didn't use the deck area though because the hotel Wifi doesn't extend there.) My only negatives are: -It wasn't a cheap Holiday Inn, but it was priced similarly to other Holiday Inns in the area. -It doesn't offer free breakfast. It does have a restaurant though where you can purchase a buffet breakfast for $15 (cheaper for kids).

Not terrible, not great, just adequate. The front desk staff was friendly, greeted us promptly, and checked us in quickly. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The parking lot, lobby, and hallways were well maintained. It was a short drive into downtown Bellingham, and we weren't bothered by airplane noise. We didn't use the pool, hot tub, or gym. Parking was easy, and we felt safe during our stay. The blackout curtains were a nice touch and helped us get a good night's sleep. Overall, it met our needs for a short visit.
