So here we are at the Silver Reef Casino. An open area outside of the crowds. We called the local number to make our reservations and to avoid these online reservations agencies that just inflate the prices. We ended up with a nice hotel with clean rooms. Our room has queen size beds with a medium firmness. This room is clean and spacious. It has a large flat screen TV, a decent sized mini fridge, a dresser for those of us who like to unpack. The A/C unit heats nicely. There is a large vanity for the bathroom and the tub shower offers shampoo and body wash. The bonus to staying at a casino hotel is the addition of security. Less worries about your car. Then there's the restaurants that are available, here there are 5. So there it is, well kept rooms, plenty of free, secure parking, and on site restaurants as well as some adult entertainment before getting some shut eye. Much more relaxing here instead of being in the crowded big cities with minimal parking.

Unfortunately, this didnt fill them so he went on a yacking today immediately after attempting the door and being stopped by the chain.. despite previous late check out approval.. and my noncombataive responses both continuing to agree and full fledged explaining did nothing and fell on completely deaf ears as he called the police within the first sentences exchsnged and despite being fully aware id just gottan from the shower and needed to dress, he remained in the doorway with it cracked as far as the chain allowed.. luckily the power had went out for three hours and to stop anyone from just walking in any door, i linked the chain lock across the door before hopping in the shower for all the last minuteclean ups etc... and as I followed suit and began explaining the situation to my own dispatch worker... only after hanging uo w his own dispatch helper did the brat turn to my husband and tell him," HE IS GoiNG TO GET HIS GUN AND WAS GoiNG TO SHOOT US". We immediately started handing our bags out the window rather and escaped any further games deployed out of this man in that way. And we knew not to trust the bratty son why? Bcuz this wasnt the first time hed called the police on us.. Two weeks ago when we first arrived at the super 8 with our friends, bf and gf with my husband and i.. out of absolutely nowhere he barges into our room.. why? Not a clue. We had switched rooms to the first floor hours prior and our friends wanted to take a break from moving all their stuff so she got food across the street while he had some errand to completereal quick.. Problem was the room was in the bf name.. and this man is screaming at us to "get the fuck out" despite all explanations and correlated details.. this man pushed further by actually LYING about being on duty all night, which he was not, all so he could call us liars, which we werent, bcuz he simply wanted to fight w someone that day, and he made the circumstances happen just so he could have an issue and start a problem! Who tf does that??! He flat out was just awful to me, my gf, and the moment he saw other males.. thus man tucked tail instantaneously. Lololol he can only combat females bcuz he isnt a real man at all.. The pool doesnt work and no one is trying to fix it. They dont care they false advertising. No you do not get a discount and the breakfast only makes this place all the better.. The entire breakfast MIGHT feed five small people if they dont like breakfast, aren't hungry in the mornings, and ate a large late dinner, too.. then this breakfast is just perfect for all five of you little people.. Youll get stale bread, little milk, empty watered down juices.. and teenty tiny bowls for whatever stale cereal they've poured out into the contraption.. but with no butter, no milk, no juices, and no yogurts.. the man refused to refill breakfast.. twenty minutes later.. nothing. Forty five minutes later.. he still claims to be too busy on computer to work and wont refill the food still. Despite most of breakfast being almost over at this point .... it took this man over an hour and a half and he never did refill the breakfast.. it was over and he wasnt left to clean up much as it was all empty... And us guests just didnt get our prpmised breakfast that morning.. Worthless bratty kid of the owner.. ill tell you what, trade me places ans see how well I treat the customers.. get rid of the loser and ill be your kid worth having.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem at check-in was I had reserved a king bed room and while checking in I was told none of their king rooms were pet friendly, so I had to take a 2 queen bed room instead. Not too big of a deal. Also when we got to our room, there was water all over the floor surrounding the mini-fridge. We called the front desk and she said she'd send maintenance up immediately. He arrived within 5 minutes and put a towel under it to keep it from ruining the floor. The linens looked clean, and the bed and pillows were okay. The screen on the window was mangled and barely fit...also there were a couple holes in it, so there were a few flies in the room. My husband took the screen off and let them out, along with a yellow jacket that had gotten in before we arrived. The a/c worked, but smelled gross, so we didn't use it...just left the window open for fresh air since we stayed on the 3rd floor. Needless to say, we started early the next day! We were so ready to leave...not a very relaxing stay. Overall a not so good experience. Would NOT recommend this place at all.

Upon check-in, Kumar seemed rude and put out to help me. We exchanged the necessary info for a hotel room. Accordingly, she asked how many people would be staying. I said, "It's just me." Then went on my way. I had a friend from town with me. He helped me unload the car and carry my bags to my room. As we are opening the door, the phone rings. It's Mrs. Kumar. I say "Hello." She replies, "Why did you lie to me?" I asked her what she was talking about, to which she replied "Who is that other with you?" I told her he was a friend from town and was helping me unload. She continued to call me a liar. Then her husband came into the picture. He continued to offer me a refund. I got my refund needless to say. However, in the process, Mrs. Kumar also up-charged a couple for their small dog, which Motel 6 online booking said was no charge. I would have ended my use of Motel 6 entirely, but luckily the manager over this area's locations assured me that the appropriate actions would be taken against Mrs. Kumar and gave me a gift certificate for another stay at my discretion. Whatever you do... DO NOT STAY HERE. There is a Super 8 less than a mile away. They are great people and even laughed when I told them the story and said "You aren't the first guest that has come over from THAT Motel 6."
