At first, I was a bit nervous, but Kayla took a cautious approach and trimmed it gradually. She'd take a couple inches off and asked how I felt, until we reached the desired length. I loved the results! The way she layered it is beautiful and makes it really easy to style. Then, it was time to fix the patchy multicolor mess that resulted from too many at-home coloring sessions due to COVID. Kayla did an outstanding job of evening out the tone, and blending in beautiful highlights throughout. This is the very first time I've been happy with my highlights on the first session! I also really enjoyed Suzanne, a therapist who's no longer with Massage Envy. I ultimately canceled because managing my membership became a full time job. I was a member back in 2014 when I lived in Irvine, CA and had the same problem, so this is likely an issue with Massage Envy overall rather than this specific location. The front office in Spokane routinely overcharged me for enhancements I didn't purchase. They signed my husband up for three months and then we froze his account, but they told me I had to pay for him to come back to use his credits, even though he was a family member. I appealed to corporate, you can reach them here - guestrelations@massageenvy.com and eventually got that fixed. But because front office staff, the franchise manager Ana, pressured me and my husband over the phone it made it stressful for me to go back there. Which is a problem, because the whole point is to relax. Sign up for a membership if your 100% sure you will go once a month, or don't mind the credits stacking when you're not using them. For me, I'm very careful on the subscriptions we pay for and want to make sure we're using them all. Ultimately it was just too stressful trying to stay *caught up* with my account. Also, this location is unfortunately in not a great area so I didn't always feel safe going in the evenings or by myself.

Then I tried threads and they snapped within hours and left a pea sized bump on each side of my forehead for over six months.Angela said it was my body. The threads left a giant scar on my face, people ask if it was from chicken pox. They are required to fix their mistakes but instead Angela charged me more! Eventually I tried another med spa and both my filler and Botox worked great and lasted a long time. I have now been to three different med spas who know Renew because they are constantly fixing their mistakes. I look in the mirror at the damage they did and cry. I only wanted to improve my self esteem and it ended up costing me permanent damage. Lastly, I remember telling Angela about my love for animals and she told me how her husband recently killed a poor baby deer instead of taking it to a rehab. Why would she think a person who loves animals would want to hear that?!
