I went to get my teeth cleaned twice at this location. The first time I went in, the hygienist did…read morea fantastic job. Gave me a deep clean and spent nearly 45 min-1hr working on my teeth. Was very happy with the cleaning so I went back. The second time I went in to get my teeth cleaned, it was a newer hygienist and she was not prepared. Spent 10-15 min when I first sat down getting her things together. Then after the Dr checked me out, she spent MAYBE a total of 15 min cleaning my teeth. She had made a comment about how good my teeth look, and I think that therefore meant to her that she didn't need to spend time actually doing a deep clean. Which is absolutely not how that works. If I'm spending $300 out of pocket for you to clean my teeth, you'd better be looking in all the little nooks and crannies. I was in and out of that office in under an hour and was very upset at the cleaning I received. I tried to talk to the front desk about it but they were very uninterested and far from helpful. Basically gave me a, "Oh well. Pay us the $300." Will never return here.

During one appt, Dr Shau was attempting to do three fillings on three different molars, top and bottom. Halfway through the process, she told me that they needed to be root canals instead of fillings BUT she just proceeded to do the fillings. and charged me $765. Here it is 5 years later and those molars are now having to be removed due to the fillings falling out and leaving my teeth weaker. Had she just done the root canals as she said it needed, I would still have those molars intact. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I tried to talk and was ignored. I find this very unprofessional and unethical. Anything that we agree upon before the start of a treatment should be honored even if one of the parties decided to change terms at some point. Very very disappointed. I work very hard to pay all my bills in time, and to be caught with a "surpise" additional bill was not fair to me or any other patients that were in the same position.

They sent the wrong codes to insurance and they were adamant about us paying the fee. Pretty ridiculous, and frustrating because previous dentist we had for 5+ years, we never paid a dime. The lack of attention with insurance codes and burdening their client is disappointing and we will be going somewhere else now.

Dr.Derek was very nice as well and both were sensitive about my oral history as well as genuine with how we will move forward. After having another dentist recommend crowns on two teeth that weren't bothering me, I made an appointment at Generations Dental. The office staff was organized and helpful both before and during my visit. The dental team was friendly, gentle and understanding. Dr. Rader took time to chat before looking at my teeth, had already looked at the x-rays before coming in the room, and thoroughly explained what he was concerned with.
