Both doctors informed me that due to my medical condition, the procedures I sought (tummy tuck and liposuction) were considered high-risk and would need to be performed in a hospital. There were 2 separate times where she was on the computer for 20 minutes, not treating me and not treating other patients and when I asked if I could be seen then she said she had to fill out her post treatment documentation immediately. So after almost two hours of waiting, I decided not to waste any more of my vacation day sitting in this (albeit very nice) office being talked down to and ignored. He performed a successful skin graft after months of a wound vac and antibiotics due to multiple infections. He and his staff are wonderful. Kevin and Esther were so kind to me and made all my hospital stays more tolerable with their upbeat personalities, as did Dr DeBaise. Most recently he removed sternal wires that were poking me in the chest as a result of a significant weight loss, There was minimal pain after the surgery and I could resume most daily activities with some precautions in a couple of days. Dr DeBaise listens to the patient and does his best to fulfill their needs. I can't say enough about him and his practice. I am thankful he was assigned to me for closing the wound after heart surgery. The skin graft was taken from my thigh and you can barely tell that it happened. You can't go wrong with Dr DeBaise and his staff.
