I had Dr. Gross do a Rhinoplasty for me to both help my breathing issues as well as straighten my nose. I had a rhinoplasty (different surgeon) previously done. Even before that, I had two septoplastys before that as well. The first rhinoplasty I had wasn't exactly great and left me in a position of unhappiness with my nose never being straightened and also making the tip of my nose bulbous. With Dr. Gross, he was able to completely straighten my nose and remove/fix scar tissue of the tip of my nose. Extremely great patient interaction every time & would recommend him to anyone who's looking for genuine work to be done. I just had Dr. Gross also do a lower eyelid blepharoplasty as well and it couldn't have been smoother. Thanks Doc for the help you've been, hope this helps anyone that comes across this review!! I contacted Dr. Gross about a revision rhinoplasty. Thirty years ago I had my first rhinoplasty surgery and it was completely botched. The results were a drastic curved nose and no reduction. I had to wait another 15 years, due to finances, to get a revision for the first surgery. I was mainly concerned in getting my nose straightened more than anything else. The second surgery improved the curvature thou it was not straight. Now 20 years later I was on my third rhinoplasty surgery. I came across Primera Surgery through the internet. I had my consultation with Dr. Gross and was impressed. He was straight forward. No sales pitch. He directly delivered what he was and was not capable of providing. He took into consideration my face symmetry while consulting what he recommended. On top of his directness of wanted outcome of the surgery, he did emphasize that there is no guarantee on the results. I feel this is not due to lack of confidence or skill, just no one is perfect. He was also concerned about my mental and physical health for prior and post surgery. Physical reason only natural and mental if the results were not what I was expecting. Now to the end. About three months after surgery I am more than satisfied with the work he performed. After a lifetime of hating my nose I am no longer self conscious. I have the nose that I want and it is fitting for my facial structure/look, not looking fake but natural. I must give a heads up, the worst part for me is the aftercare. About 3 months after surgery you must massage the nose twice a day and nightly put on a "homemade cast". It just becomes tedious. The main reason I chose Primera Surgery is their honesty and only deal with the face. Another deciding factor was that multiple of his staff members had him perform their surgery and he had performed a good amount of revisions. His 30 plus years, of face only plastic surgery, show through his work and results. I would and have recommended family and friends to his office. I cannot praise him and the staff enough. To go with Dr. Gross is his excellent staff. It shows that he seems to treat them well and not take them for granted. From the front office help, the consultant to the nurses and head nurse one could not ask for better care. If someone does ask for better it is humanly unreachable. Please do your research, save time and money. Listen to your inner voice. Don't end up with 3 surgeries to get your wanted results. If that inner voice says this place is not right listen. Dr. Gross completely botched my rhinoplasty, leaving me with severely collapsed nasal passages and an under-projected nose. Prior to the surgery, I had no significant nose injury--just an extremely minimal deviated septum, which Dr. Gross assured me he would fix. The procedure was primarily cosmetic, yet since the surgery, my ability to smell and taste has drastically diminished. Worst of all, I now have to pull my cheek to the side while sleeping just to breathe properly. Many of my friends have also pointed out that I sound nasally, something I never experienced before. I repeatedly voiced my concerns post-surgery, only to be told time and again that things would improve with time. It's been 3 years, and my breathing has not improved at all. When I scheduled an appointment to discuss a revision, I was shocked to receive a quote of over $7,000 to fix the damage. Worse, during the appointment, Dr. Gross spent an inappropriate amount of time focusing on my mental health, questioning my psychiatrist's credentials as if I were about to undergo surgery immediately. His tone was condescending, and as he left, he suggested I could use my wait time to research the psychiatrist's information. Additionally, he suggested I may be better suited going to see a different doctor. While I understand that any surgery comes with risks, I never expected to end up in this condition--especially after paying more than I would have with other surgeons. I might have been able to overlook Dr. Gross' terrible bedside manner if he had actually performed a successful surgery. I STRONGLY suggest you trust a different surgeon with your body. read more

This is somewhere you DONT want to do your chin and jaw liposuction. I got mine done about a year ago, went in for a check up saying that I didn't like the results that I still have fat under my chin that hasn't been taken out properly, they said I gained weight I'm like "nope weigh the same". Then they say "we can do kybella" which will be another almost $2,000 mind you the surgery cost me over 10k. On all my check ups I saw only the doctor once. I searched for the top facial plastic surgeons who specializing in men. I picked Dr. Gross a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon over an office in Boca Raton and Atlanta. I drove 5 hours from Georgia to his office for a consultation, after the computer imaging and Dr.Gross sharing his experience and knowledge; I was confident he could give me the results I wanted. I got a rhinoplasty and chin augmentation on 4/7/23 and I could not be any happier with the results. I always felt like I was in good hands prior to the surgery and after. I was given all the supplies I needed down to the q tips to get me through my first week post op. The recover was not nearly as bad as I expected, the pain was minimum and I was always able to reach a nurse if needed. I am extremely happy with my results and I would do it all over again. Paid $250 up front that is what they want now.(05/03/24) He showed me pictures before and after on the wall.I got a sigh and a rejection of not wanting to do it when I questioned a small change. I guess I insulted his integrity and he said he did not want to do it because I would not be happy with it. He showed me one that didn't take well and was afraid it would happen to me I guess. He mentioned that I have lived with this for 40 years and I should be able to live with what God had gave me. If that's the case why is he there? Then, he brought up my age, I'm thinking he never wanted to do this to begin with but took my $250 up front. I was all for this and he deleted my pictures and said I wasn't a good candidate. If I wasn't he would have told me that right away. I think it's all about the money with this office because I'm hearing I won't get my$250 back from them because they keep it whether they turn you down or not. I wanted it done, he didn't want to commit to the surgery because he was not sure of himself. If he was confident with his work he would have done it but that tells me something to move on. A month ago I had rhinoplasty septoplasty and blepharoplasty and I am totally pleased with how well my recovery is going, everything looks great even though it's still in the healing stages. Any questions or concerns were and still are immediately addressed when I call. The staff treats me with dignity, kindness, and care. Dr Gross is a super wonderful person. My appointment was for today and unfortunately I woke up very sick, called to reschedule and they told me they needed an additional $50.00 deposit to hold another appointment. I came here for a Rhinoplasty consult with Dr. Gross last month. This is the first surgeon that I've found to have a hair salon and day spa in the same building. As part of the Rhinoplasty experience the spa and salon services are complimentary; a relief because the procedures here are very expensive. I was given a higher quote compared to the other doctors I've consulted with. I'm scheduled to do a facial and extraction two days before surgery because he wants to operate on a clean face. The day of bandage removal I'll be getting my hair washed. They also scheduled me for a lymphatic cleanse and facial treatment 3 weeks post-op. I honestly feel like I'm getting a five star treatment. They also have a small store where you an buy other anti-aging products for the face. Getting consultations everywhere else, I felt like I was speaking to car salesmen in dreary offices. I went to Dr. Gross for a bump on the bridge of my nose that I got breaking it as a child from doing gymnastics. I had the bump and a deviated septum but if we're being honest I went for cosmetic purposes, I just wanted my lose to look prettier and not broken. I told him that I not only wanted the bump shaved down, but I wanted a "smaller and cuter button nose". All he did was shave the bump down. I had ALL SORTS of complications and pain after surgery and he just seemed annoyed and treated me like a "problem patient". He didn't care at all that I had about 5 emergency room visits because I couldn't take the pain and kept telling him something was wrong. When I went in for my post op and was balling crying they put a blanket over my head and wheeled me out the back so other patients wouldn't see. (I want to mention that I have a very high pain tolerance so this was more than unusual for me, I've had two breast augmentations and didn't even need pain killers). His bedside manner was terrible, he was rude from the start and never made me feel comfortable. He was even rude to my family. Then I got a letter saying I was being dismissed as a patient and to no longer contact them. Basically he didn't want to deal with me anymore. I wasn't happy with the results and it was the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. I regret so badly going to him and years later I'm still so upset and traumatized by the whole experience. I hate my nose and hate taking selfies and get so upset that it was $10,000 down the drain. Do yourself a favor and stay away!! read more

Not the best. Phi needs more experience. I went to her for a keratosis removal on my face. It grew back in 2 weeks. Also, when I made the appointment which I got the next day...they told me they took insurance and when I went for the appointment, they told me they didn't take insurance and charged me $75 just for the appointment. An additional charge which I had to pay even though my insurance would have covered it for the mole removal. My first appointment was for a total body skin cancer check, and not only did Phi come in the room with a spectator, but a clinical book on what to look for. OK...3 strikes you are out Primera Plastic Surgery. The front desk receptionist was a miserable, unhelpful person that just was happy to snatch your credit card out of your hand and run it through the machine. I came to Dr Gross after having a bad rhinoplasty with someone else. I was realistic that with the mess I had, I wouldn't be getting a 'perfect' nose anymore. Dr. Gross is SO experienced and knowledgeable that I felt 100% confident he would do the best job for me.
