This is my second ever time getting fillers, the first being Buena Vista Asthetics which I didn't realize was as bad as it was until experiencing Fiala! Located conveniently near the Altamonte mall, this facility is so clean and beautiful with such a professional atmosphere. From my experience, they have amazingly talented, gentle, knowledgeable PA's doing the fillers. They will schedule you a consult AND procedure in the same day whereas a lot of places want you to split the consult and the procedure into two separate appointments/days. They do charge a $50 fee to secure the consult which they take off of the cost of the filler (just make sure it comes off your bill before you swipe) Healing time took only about 3 days, at which point the swelling was minimal to none. I was left with virtually zero bruising whereas my first experience getting fillers at Buena Vista Asthetics I had so much bruising (which I was told was normal at the time, and now I realize they just had zero technique). Not happy with my breast augmentation, wanted something WAY different than what I got. No cleavage unless I wear tight bras and no curvature at the top of my breast, ALOT at the bottom though. Wanted to go bigger but got talked into smaller implants. Now it's almost a year later and my breast still look small for someone my size. Doesn't even look like I had breast augmentation, people are shocked when I tell them I've had my breasts done. "They look so natural" they say. Several years back Dr. Fiala performed lipo on me and a tummy tuck. On my first office visit for a follow up after the surgery l noticed on side was still lumpy and didnt match my other side at all... the stitching on the side was very wrinkled... the middle part of my stomach had a scar with the shape of a smile with fatty tissues still around it and hanging.. Dr. Fiala said... no problem give it time its still swollen. Several months later his office nurse Mary gave me yet another app for another follow up and stated when l call to ask for her... and l did... but every time l called who ever picked up the phone kept telling me the same thing... she's busy right now.. can l have her call you back but she never did. After four months of this l decided to go in person and confront the person answering the calls and she saw how angry l was and admitted to me in a low scary voice that she was coached by Mary to say she was busy every time l asked for her as she directed me to. Something told me that l was better off just walking away before l do something l was going to regret and face the fact that l was botched by Dr. Fiala and for some reason that the office Manager or nurse did not want me around him for what ever reason... This review is for breast lift consultation. I waited five weeks (earliest appt available) for my free consultation with Dr Fiala, because I heard he was a good plastic surgeon. However I was shocked to get a $15,000 quote for a breast lift with implants surgery, when the average cost for this surgery is around 10,000. This review is just not just about price though. I felt a lot of hesitancy from Dr Fiala on other matters such as implant selection. Compared to the other doctors I consulted with he was the least helpful with selection of implant size. The biggest big turn off was when I called back to ask a simple question (while trying to make up my mind) and I was told I would have to wait four more weeks to see him just ask one question! This really made me wonder about whether he really just did not want to do a breast lift surgery. And had I just wasted several weeks of my time? I did also occur to me that perhaps Dr. Fiala charges this much for his breast lifts because he is not very comfortable with breast lift surgery. I've seen some of his quotes for other procedures (at another website) and they appear to be within the norm. However with breast lift surgery his quotes seem to go out the roof! I then came to Yelp to further explore his reviews; and did not like what I read here (see Chris B's review). This further reinforces my thoughts above that perhaps he's not comfortable doing breast lift surgery. This is not to say that Dr. Fiala is not a good surgeon with other types of surgeries. I have read good review about him with lesser complicated surgeries (for example breast augmentation with no lift). Dr. Fiala is a perfectionist who strives to give as close to perfect results possible for each and every patient. Now, keeping that in mind... Before considering plastic surgery a patient must be in a healthy state of mind. Enhancing your body image will boost your spirits temporarily but it is not a means to cure depression or an answer to preventing an inevitable divorce. Having realistic expectations about ones own body image is key when choosing plastic surgery. Plastic Surgeons yield scalpels not magic wands. If weight is an issue then a patient must DO EVERYTHING THAT THEY CAN ON THEIR OWN FIRST! Liposuction and tummy tuck procedures are not meant for highly overweight individuals. Perfect candidates are those who are within a certain BMI of their goal weight and who take good care of their bodies but have non- responsive troublesome areas. Tummy tucks also help to remove excess skin and stretch marks post-pregnancy. Moms be sure that you are completely DONE having children before opting for a tummy tuck. Especially if you choose to have the muscle wall reattached which is much like having an internal corset. Now let's get to the good stuff... (BAMS) aka BREAST AUGMENTATIONS. I have had mine for about 8 years now and I love it! I waited until I was done having children. I always knew that I wanted to have one to balance out my hip ratio. They were a birthday gift from Dr. Fiala when I was employed there. Yes, he is generous with his staff and he always has been. It is my opinion that a woman be at least 18 years+ before having a breast augmentation. Women's bodies still change up and until that time and young girls do not have the right decision making skills nor proper mental state required for body altering or enhancement. Any age before 18 is too young or at least that's my opinion. I have a daughter and I would never allow her to have a BAM until she is an adult and can make adult decisions on her own. Not to mention, pay for it on her own as well. With regard to breast augmentations, Dr. Fiala is THE BEST! Ladies do your homework here. It's your body and you get what you pay for. Do you want a Yugo or do you want a Mercedes? Going the cheapest route is NEVER the answer when choosing plastic surgery. If you cannot afford to pay someone with excellent credentials and who comes highly recommended, then don't get it done at all. On numerous occasions I have witnessed people going the cheaper route only to end up very disappointed and needing corrective surgery afterward. The same holds true for your injections, laser and skincare procedures. If someone is offering a deal that's "too good to be true" then it probably is "too good to be true." Unfortunately, all of these cheap Groupon deals and little franchise places are dirtying up the Aesthetic industry. Little franchises will be here today and be gone tomorrow and you will be left with a bad result and less money in your account. I have marked Fiala Aesthetics as pricey because they not the cheapest place in town to have plastic surgery. Nor are they the most expensive. More so THE BEST at getting precisely what you pay for. Botox and Fillers. The injection specialist (Vietnamese I believe, Phi I think) injected my cheeks, nasal folds in August 2015 and injected botox above eyebrows to give eyes a lift (according to her). The icepack thawed out after half an hour and WAS NOT replaced with a new one. From that moment on, she seemed hurried and the caring attitude was gone. The thicker filler hurt pretty bad from that point on and because (I found this out afterwards) she did not inject deep enough, the filler got lumpy. I was told NOT to massage - even gently - with the result that the bumps stayed for weeks. My friend who also got fillers at another provider DID HAVE TO MASSAGE GENTLY and developed no lumps. I also believe because of the melted icepack, I bruised more because I had bruises for 14 days which I had to conceal. The results were ok, not great. My left side is still too hollow and the marionette line still there (although less), the right side has new wrinkles around where she injected but is better than the left. The botox had absolutely no effect to lifting my eyes - not even one millimeter! I paid $2800 for this! I emailed her with my complaint and filled out a survey they requested. NOT HEARD BACK! My friend interviewed both Dr. Fiala and another plastic surgeon who had been recommended to her by someone else, and she chose Dr. Fiala. I accompanied her to her consultation and to her surgery. I can honestly say that Dr. Fiala did a stupendous job. My friend allowed Dr. Fiala to choose the size implant that he thought would best suit her body type and size, while stressing that she wanted the most natural appearance possible. The office staff is wonderful, the office and OR are spotless and state of the art, and Dr. Fiala himself answers any questions, puts the patient at ease, and is obviously very skilled at what he does. I was really nervous about having surgery, even though I'd wanted it for years, but the minute I spoke to the receptionist at Fiala, I was totally positive that this was the surgeon for me, I was on the phone for a good 15 mins and just in that one phone call, I was put at ease, I went in a week or so after for the consultation with Dr Fiala and he sat and listened to what I wanted, he was willing to answer every question and not once did I feel like I was being pushed a certain way, he told what was do-able and what was not, he gave me a very good idea of what to expect from going into surgery until I would be on the road th healing and beyond.. My day of surgery came and again Dr Fiala was there to guide me through exactly what he was going to do, all the staff there were so caring, they really do love what they do and it shows. Woke up a few hours after and can't even remember the next few hours, I had the best sleep on the way home ..... For each follow up appointment ALL the staff are so lovely, they greet you like family, I think all of them there know my first name too, which is so important, having that closeness with the staff at the surgery.. I've seen many post about what Dr Fiala will perform surgery wise and what he won't, this man has been number one in Orlando for many years and it's because he's a professional and knows that what we think we want isn't necessarily what we should do.. from speaking to him and having surgery there, I will always trust his judgement. High cost Their way or the highway First let me say that I work in the medical field and understand the inter workings of an office very well. My experience with this office was good and then very bad. The office itself is beautiful and the staff is well trained to keep the flow of the appts quick. They seem very knowledgeable and I have no doubt the team is skilled. However the general attitude of the doctor (and this may be do to the staff who is relating messages to the doctor) was very demeaning. I am a petite woman, 5 ft and 100lbs. Most of my friends and family think I'm crazy for wanting surgery to begin with as I am already very shapely. I had my consult and scheduled, paid and then called the next day to move my appt date up and ask if we could forgo the side tummy tuck as I feel there is very little side skin on my body (I'm a size 2) and I don't want the scar, I also questioned the cost of the procedure since it is almost twice the national average. I received a voice mail about thirty mins after my call telling me that the doctor would not do any treatment for me because I did not agree with his opinion. I am shocked that a doctor would feel the right to force a patient into treatment in this manner when I do not agree that it is needed. The cost I was given for a breast and tummy tuck was 22,000$, and I am in relatively good physical shape and excellent health. The doctor may be good at what he does but if they are not putting the patients wishes first and being financially abusive it's not worth it. Patients should have the right to autonomy with any physician who is altering their body in such a dramatic way. For a doctor to feel that the patient should not question them only shows that the physician has become to self involved. I will happily be going to another doctor who values my opinion. read more

WARNING!!! I don't like being mislead and just plan lied too...$100 nonrefundable deposit to make appointment and was told once I see the doctor you can book surgery within 3 weeks...NOT TRUE!!! Than Doctor Fiala told me that relocating my nipple it could turn black and die...WHAT? I did extensive research and went to 5 other top plastic surgeons and not one had this issue as he did and then Dr. Fiala tried to reassure me that he was the best etc...(felt like I was dealing with used car salesman). My existing implants have capitalized and needed to be removed asap and I wanted a lift as my implants have separated from the breast. The other 5 Plastic surgeons agreed it would not look good to do just a removal as breast has already separated from implant and lift was needed along with relocation of nipple.Dr. Fiala was also $2500 more $ than the other 5 Dr....UGH! Money $$$$ was never a issue for me!!! I just wanted the BEST!!! Dr Fiala botched my wife's breast. Then took days messing with the complication. He was sure to stress how this complication was NO ONES fault. However, after informing his RN that there was a change in the perfusion to the breast tissue she waited hours prior to notifying Dr Fiala. Then she was told to come immediately to the office. Now a week since the initial surgery she requires a skin graft to the site but he only wants to do this after another week or two of leaving it open doing dressing changes. This of course only opens her up to the risk of infection. Do yourself a favor and find a physician who is able to make a definitive decision in a timely manner. read more

I have never left a place with a smile line created on the left side of my face due to the lack of filler in the right side, basically beautiful lips on the left and flat on the right. I returned she was sweet and kind about helping me and agreed that it was definitely lacking filler and she injected it looked ok so I thought thank god it is fixed...wrong! I am heart broken because after visiting other places they agreed that it was smaller but they were afraid if they tried to dissolve it that it would make it worse and it didn't look horrible. I have been a patient of DR FIala for years, from breast aug to co2 laser this man is a genius. Recently, I decided to try Botox/Voluma injections with their new injection specialist Phi. Phi is wonderful! Not only is she thorough but had a much gentler touch than most I have encountered. As fillers are very much a art form my appts were scheduled two weeks apart so that we could do adjustments as needed to obtain the desired effect. I am very happy with my results and I have to disagree with one of the other reviews on bruising. I followed the pre and post instructions given to patients and had very minimal bruising. As far as pain of course there will be some discomfort ...you after all are having needles in you face but truly I would say not pain just a bit of discomfort. If you are looking for a amazing doctor who is not just caring but also has amazing vision and a staff that is not only competent but strives to give you a informative and friendly experience then this is for you. read more
