Jennifer Rapp ARNP was awful. Yearly physical today but handed me off to a nice resident NP who did my entire work up. Forgot to check my lungs and heart but sure. Jennifer did not say hello after entering, accused me of lying, never once looked me over and exited by saying any questions and promptly left the room. Mind you this was at tops 4 mins she was in the room after my work up by the resident. Just a really awful awful experience. I will be reporting to my insurance company their lack of quality care. read more

I have enjoyed my experience at this office with the provider Jennifer Rapp. I have been searching for a primary care for years, and have had many bad experiences, but this time it was amazing! Here is what I will say, I have been going to this office for at least 20 years. In this time, all my Drs/RNs/Nurses have turned over and I end up with someone new each time. I am so over this place. I am also over them wanting to see me every 3 months so they can get paid. From one of the prior doctors and a prior nurse, I was informed that this is how it works. They want to continue scheduling so they get money from insurance. I was driving an hour to go here... and now I am just done. They told me twice they didn't accept my insurance and cancelled my appointments when in fact THEY DO TAKE MY INSURANCE!!! Do not go here unless you want to see someone different each time you go. The good people leave!!! The only person there who is decent is Cynthia Bridges and you can never get an appointment with her. read more

This practice used to be wonderful. Since, Dr. Krupitsky went concierge the care we receive is not the same. The practice can't seem to keep its staff. The staff is very unfriendly, not putting the patients needs first. My husband was there today and waited over 2 hours to see Cindy Bridges. He was left in the examining room for over and hour and half. Seeing the PA for 10 minutes. The staff at the desk were extremely rude when an office staff member told the receptionist not to bother with my husband but to take care of waiting patients while he was in the process of checking out and getting his prescriptions. I am so disappointed to what has happened with this practice. read more

They are a mess from sending referrals, responding to emails, and charging the correct deductible. Even had to have insurance call with me to let them know annual visits are no deductible and called multiple times to get referrals submitted to my insurance through online not faxed to the specialist. They aren't rude but they are condescending since they're persistent on thinking they're right. Not rude atmosphere but lacking professionalism. read more

I would like to let Dr. K know that he has lost a long time patient of 20 years over $2.85. Over the past few years the practice has lost long time employees and the billing department is all over the place. Almost every time I come in I have to see another practitioner. It is very sad and aggravating that I have to find another provider due to the decline of this practice. This place's ethics are questionable, will not go again there. I went for a check-up, and they charge me $132 saying that my deductible was not met, I called my insurance and they told me that this is the first visit and it should be covered, I've been trying to get a hold of the billing person, and this lady apparently is never in the office, I called today and they told me she is on vacation, nobody calls you to apologize or clarify, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ALSO COMMITTING FRAUD. read more

I have been going here since I was child and my mother has been going here before that. Unfortunately, the past few years AFP has gone completely down hill. They schedule appointments and than when you show up "oh we don't see you"(this hasn't just happened to me), they tell you they will call you back with an answer and after you call 7 times and have to get stern someone finally does...but the worst is this...I have been prescribed alprazolam since I was in high school. I am disabled and have a short life expectancy which causes me anxiety on top of that I suffer from depression and a severe anxiety disorder...also my father died last month and my "doctor" knows this. I go to AFP every three months and every three months I get a 3 month supply of my medication. I pay out of pocket and as I stated before I am on disability and am disabled. I do not have a lot of money...well this new "doctor" only gave me a one month (which I didn't know because I've seen her once before and she knows that I come every three and she has prescribed the three month before) and it's funny because when I saw her a few weeks ago she said with everything going on I'm going to give you a few extra this month and go back down the next....so why am I now being told I have to go in and pay another $200 to get a second and third month supply when this has never been the case before? My father just died, I'm about to have a major surgery and this "doctors office"(money hungry) is making me go back after I was just there? Now with all that being said they are now doing the same thing to my mother (catherine). She is out of her anti anxiety meds and has an appointment with AFP next week and when she went to the pharmacy to get her refill they told her her doctor said no and now she's day 4 without her medication and has had a few attacks. You are not doctors because if you were you would take care and care about your patients and you do not. Feel free to reach out to me but we know you won't as it's like pulling teeth to have you give someone a courtesy call back. read more

This practice is horrible. The front office staff is unprofessional and rude. I would not recommend them to anyone until they they get some training or new office staff. The current staff should really find another place to work if they hate their job that much and have such disdain for the patients that come in that might be different then them. A doctor's office is where questions should be able to be asked and not get condescending responses. They don't even deserve a star but you have to give them one in order to post a comment. read more

This doctors office put me in a very difficult situation. I have been a patient at this office for 3-4 years now. They have put me through unnecessary medical procedures and always made it difficult to renew prescriptions. I do not have health insurance and for some reason I went along with all of it because I trusted them. They're doctors, they know better, right? Well now I'm in a situation where, trusting them, has been my worst mistake. I paid for two medical procedures. Out of pocket, no insurance, trusting them that everything will go according to plan. The first procedure was fine. Now time for the second procedure - oh. They no longer offer the service. I'm told that they will give me a call back and figure out how to proceed. Two weeks go by and nobody is even remotely interested in calling/emailing me back. Finally, I give them a call to follow up because I need this medical procedure done. I'm told to wait again and that someone will contact me back. Another couple of days go by and I'm finally called back and told I would get a refund. Great! Except the refund is less than 10% of what I paid and I cannot get the procedure done anywhere else for the price of the refund. I'm told that "we cannot control what other doctors are charging". When I ask where can I get the procedure done elsewhere for the same money that they are giving me, the subject is directed elsewhere. After several aggravating phone calls later, I told them just to send me the check for the refund. The check that I receive is $1 less than the amount promised. I guess they had to take out the cost for the stamp for the letter... All in all, I trusted them and paid them. Now, I have to find someone else to perform the procedure and pay them again. I wasn't asking for a refund for all the money I paid them. I asked them to pay just enough for me to get this procedure done. That they do not do anymore. I'm honesty surprised that they even refunded me. This is by far the greediest doctors office I've ever been to. Big thumbs down. read more

I went to this place to do the shots which have not been covered by my vaccine record back home! I have brought them a verified copy, but they said how they cannot accept it and suggested me to retake each one! Which doctor in the WORLD would suggest any patient to receive all of the vaccines again? On top of that, before dr disapproved my verified copy, they charged me upfront, so I had to ask for a receipt that the amount will go back to my account, because they were not planning on giving it to me( like why would I not trust them, they just asked me if I wanted to receive 15+ vaccines all over again). I walked out so happy I didn't get any closer to dr who suggested that. NEVER GOING BACK THERE nor I would suggest it to anyone! read more

I've had a fantastic experience with Dr. Bridges and the office staff at Altamonte Family Practice. I was seeing an endocrinologist that I wasn't having great success with. My wife, who is an ICU nurse, mentioned to me that Dr. Bridges had some pretty good success with some of her patients A1c numbers. I decided to check it out. I can report that four months later my A1c numbers are down over 2% (big deal for Diabetics) and they're still declining. They do labs in the office and the office staff and Nurses are very helpful and friendly. I get phone call as well as text reminders for my appointments and the wait times have been fairly short. The best part is that Dr. Bridges will sit and listen. I told her I didn't like one medicine and she found an alternative, she even checked if my insurance covered it. I went there for 5-10 years, things in the beginning were wonderful, I really enjoyed my visits with Cindy Bridges, somewhere in the last year, this practice has really went down hill. From the from desk to the nurses... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and don't even get me started with Dr. Christensen, big waste of time & money. Avoid going at all cost to this office. They cancel on you last minute and they will not take if you are 16 minutes late. Customer service stinks and the front desk attendance have not compassion for their patients. Thank God there is plenty competition that are willing to provide high quality medical care! Cindy Bridges ARNP and her MA Brianna are amazing. They are the reason I've been a patient here for the past few years. Not only are we working on my goals of improving my health (which is going quite well in both feels and numbers), but the staff is friendly and if we do get stumped on any medical situations - The MD's are right there to lend an observant eye and consult. I work in the medical field and expect superior diagnosis and oversight. I get that here and with friendly staff and an ARNP and MA that are top of the tier. I've read the reviews and believe me, if a person is more than .15 late they are really messing up many other patients schedules so I believe in that rule with very few exceptions..... I took off one star for the billing situation I have experienced in the last couple of years confusion at the exit desk because my plan with United is tier basses and tricky - BUT I understand they have a new staffing situation there and am seeing improvement already.... I've been going to Dr. Ks office since roughly 2006. In recent years the service and staff have begun to rapidly decline from the experiences I'm used to receiving which is very saddening. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appt, waited about another 15 minutes to check in while the office staff had a merry conversation behind closed doors to which I waited a half hour past my appointment time before being called back. After being prescribed a new prescription the doctor told me to call with any symptom concerns, I called a couple of weeks later and my prescribing physician is no longer with them and they kept trying to get me to return (and pay my copay) just to answer questions! Seems like now a days all they want is your money not your satisfaction which is very disappointing. Overall I am not happy with the direction this doctors office is traveling and can honesty say I doubt they will have my business ever again. Dr. K if you're reading this I urge you to save your practice from becoming just another shady doctors office. read more

Absolutely the worst doctor's (Dr.Christensen) and customer service I have ever experienced. I have been coming to Altamonte Family Practice for over 10 years and within the last 2-3 years they have gone downhill and have the most unprofessional new staff members. I have a medication that I have taken for over 15 years that they just let me know (now that I am weeks out) that they cannot refill unless I see the doctor. No one has called me to set up any follow up appointments....I have not received any emails or correspondence regarding the need to come in to see the doctor? Why should I schedule an appointment (weeks out) and be out a medication that I have taken with no problems for 15 years? I called 3 times and was hung up on while on hold each time, only to be told that now I need to come in? Absolutely stupid. There are far too many good doctors to waste any more time with this one. read more

I love this practice. I have seen both Dr. Krupitsky and Dr. Margaitis. Dr. Margaitis is an angel as is her staff and the practice staff. They are knowledgeable and compassionate and have bent over backwards to help me when I needed help. I am disabled and the doctors have identified a lot of my medical problems. Dr. Krupitsky literally saved my life by helping to identify a life threatening problem and then making the arrangements to have it corrected. I would never leave this practice for another primary care office. read more

I WAS a patient there for many years.. they are happy to see you and refill your rx, but if you really need their help you have to pay some sort of preferred Physician fee to see the real doctor.. it's a lot.. my pa was quite good and compassionate but she is not a doctor and I found out the hard way after I was seriously let down by them in a crisis.. I also ran into the 16 minute late issue.. their rule is 15 minutes.. they made me reschedule and sit in the office for sometime waiting to get in.. do not recommend.. read more

I was, or was going to be a new patient. Made an appointment for 9:00 am and days before my appointment got a recording to be there at 9:45. Called to say that's not going to happen because my appointment was suppose to be at 9:00. Changed the appointment to another day with a nurse practitioner just so I could get in to see someone. Again, made the appointment for 9:00 am. Got a recording several days prior confirming my appointment for 9:30. Called the office and complained and she said she would tell them she would make sure I got in at 9:00. All my paperwork was filled out prior to arriving. Got there at 8:40. Finally was taken back at 9:25. Sat in the room for another 20 min. Got up and told them I was leaving and wanted my co-pay refunded and did not want to reschedule. I should have listened to the other reviewers, but thought I'd give them a shot anyway. Always listen to your gut! read more
