I would NOT recommend YMD. I had an upper Bleph done in Feb 2025. She removed too much of my skin on my left eye and I have not been able to shut my eye correctly for 15 months! My ophthalmologist confirmed it and recommended a plastic surgeon to help make a correction. It has affected my sleep, my confidence, I've had to put goop in my eye for the last 15 months to try and keep my eye moist. I've been back 10 times trying to get her to correct it and each time she gaslights me telling me to give it more time, and dry eyes is normal for my age (60). And that no one can tell, etc. but my eyes don't match. She did give me some Botox to try and help the situation. She is a dishonest person and there is constant turnover in staff. read more

I had that upper eyelid surgery. I think it's called Blepherplasty. Went beautiful. I didn't realize how much of my vision was impacted but now I can see great. Medicare paid for everything just about. The surgery was easy, Peezy. I had the surgery March 6 and my stitches out March 13 and I'm completely black and blue free March 30. People tell me I look younger I'm 68. I can finally see my eyelids. I highly recommend this place. I went to this place because I saw good reviews for an upper blepharoplasty..surgery was fine until I saw the stitches and noticed she did one more than other..I specifically stated one lid needed more than the other.i was dissapointed as I asked her why she went more higher than the other..she went on to talk about the brow bone..but the one that needed more skin removal was the one she went lower...there is more skin she should've taken from that one lid..and on the other lid..I don't know what happened but the surgery line is crooked.i even pointed that out to her and still didn't get an actual answer. I'm very excited about how my upper and lower blepharoplasty are turning out. it's going to look very natural. it's healing up very fast, from what I can see. She also used a co2 laser under my eyes for lines. I also got some voluma in my cheeks and juvederm in my lips along with Botox around my eyes and in my forehead. I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty early Dec 2023. the initial office visit was great with great service and detail. All was done excellent up to the surgery. The surgery went well with typical healing expected. However, the post wellness check did not happen. I tried to call to speak with someone, and was told that someone would call, but the call never came. I went in for suture removal and that went well. I have several questions but am giving it sometime to further heal. Overall, It went well. I can not generalize the post wellness check communication, but will say in my situation, the post wellness communication could have been much better. read more

Honestly I don't know what is going on with that office. They messed up 2 or 3 appointments and I live 2 hours away. The only one that wasn't messed up was the surgery appointment where I guess they get their money. The last appointment I drove the night before and paid for a hotel to make it easier on myself considering I am working 7 days/week for pandemic related activities. They made sure I didn't waste their time by texting me a confirmation on Saturday before the Monday appt. Monday when I arrived they said the doctor was not in and was in surgery at a different location. Really, they didn't know this on Saturday? This was March 15, the staff took photos and said the doctor would review and let me know next steps as I wasn't completely happy with results. This was March 15. I have been going to YMD for quite some time for various reasons. One of those reasons is now an eye twitch that just won't go away. Update- Dr Yielding did a C02 Laser on me 4/18/22-just to clean up some sun spots on my forehead otherwise my skin was great! I've had this done before and was back to normal in 3 days. This time- I lost 4 full months of work bc the recovery was horrific- she scratched the cornea of both of my eyes & caused permanant damage-now my eyes will not produce tears. I can no longer wear contacts and am in costant pain and under the care of eye specialist for the rest of my life. My face is scarred and you can see every stroke she made with that laser. I have been to multiple doctors, the ER and spent THOUSANDS of dollars trying to get help on top of the THOUSANDS i paid her. All Dr Y said was "I am sorry I didn't do this on purpose" She had me on meds I didn't need, wasting MORE money-had me putting Aquafor on an open wound for 3 solid months and I just found out it was cancerous and required chemo treatment. She never checked my eyes, never did ANY follow up- HORRIBLE. After I told her how she had totally dropped the ball with me, SHE wrote down her personal cell phone # and gave it to me but she accidentally gave me the "wrong" number so I was unable to reach her when an emergency arose.... she has been AWFUL and she must be the same to work for because her staff changes constantly. Stay away from this surgeon! I've waited a full year to post a review to give ample time for issues to resolve on their own. To date I have seen the doctor numerous times about a poorly done lower face lift. I have several very unsightly lumps under my chin. My jawline on one side is deformed. My right ear was reattached incorrectly and is oriented wrong and I have constant nerve pain in that ear. Like another reviewer, the doctor's only remedy was multiple steroid shots and "time". I have now been to two preeminent reconstructive plastic surgeons who both have told me I need to have my procedure redone and that the issue with my ear is not correctible. Dr Yeilding charged me almost double what most other surgeons charge for the procedure and now I must pay again to have someone competent repair the damage that she did. I did not have a good experience personally...Rebecca was very friendly and concerned about addressing my issues, however that's where it ended. It was confirmed (the person that called agreed with my questioing this) that I wasted time and money with a call that agreed with/suggested that I'm not a good candidate for Botox. I was told that I don't "look like" one that wouldn't respond well...yet my eyelids have dramatically drooped and the lines are still quite prominent. I guess I would have hoped that a professional would have spent adequate time and care in determining the right way to proceed and IF you proceed (since the person who called me clearly stated that I "obviously have a high forehead" and that "less Botox" in that area would be suggested) PRIOR to spending hundreds of dollars and ending up with a simple "Yeah, sorry." I guess this was all about the money and not the person or the end result. Lesson learned. UPDATE: I received a phone call and email from the office almost immediately after this review posted. The email made mention of working with me and discussing a refund, which I had not asked for at the time. I declined to speak on the phone with anyone, as I had already been treated very poorly, though I did send a reply email and I did not decline a refund. And I am certainly not returning to the office. After no further word, I emailed again on Wednesday asking about the refund and have yet to receive a response. Very disappointed in the work done on my eyelids. Dr. Yeilding refused to fix the the small issues I still had left on my eyelids months after my surgery. Tiny bumps are very noticeable and wearing eye makeup makes it worse. Her ethics dealing with patients after the surgery are not the best! After an upper eyelift over 1-1/2 years ago, my eyelids still do not close properly and it is apparent to any onlooker. Too much skin tissue was removed in the crucial center of the lids - but not any removed at the inner corners. This results in too little tissue to close the eyes properly and in hanging little bags at the inner corners. The eyelids are not smooth but are looser and more crepe-like than before this surgery. Due to the lids not shutting properly (one lid more severe than the other - as there was an unsutured wound gap with a scab that eventually fell off) air enters the upper eyeball area constantly, which makes the eye(s) tear up. Trying to sleep is difficult due to dripping tears which pool up at the inner eye depending on which side I am sleeping on. I was told by the doctor not to use eye masks. After all this time, I did try those but those do not help as there is still air within the mask. After-care checkups were frequent, the first being 2 days post-surgery, then a week, then two weeks, etc. Each visit I complained as healing was progressing and thru all the subsequent checkups that my eyes were not closing correctly. I was given massage instructions which I performed as instructed. I was told of gel-type eye cream so that I could sleep while healing. The doctor told me each visit, over and over that the lid would come down. It will. It will. It has not. Complaining about the little loose bags at the inner eye - the doctor told me that this area could not be tightened as it was too close to the inner area. I think I should have been told this before surgery, not after. Putting on eye makeup is a nightmare and only accentuates the deformity, one eye more prominently than the other. It looks like one lid is halfway turned outward and upward. I wear sunglasses a lot, even inside stores and businesses. I was not scheduled to have my eyes lifted on that day. My procedure scheduled was for facial laser resurfacing only. On that day, after I was under this doctor's prescribed oral sedation medication and during the pre-surgery exam, the doctor pressed me to go ahead and get the upper eyelift. I said I would wait until I had the money. Back and forth this went until the doctor proceeded to reduce the price, step down by step down, until half of the usual cost. I finally consented. I now kick myself for bending to pressure while drugged. The laser resurfacing was "okay" but results were not as grand as I had hoped. Hope. We all have it. Botched! Dr. Yeilding performed a bleph and a facelift on me in 2018. After the surgery, my jaw was very swollen and uncomfortable, and I ended up with pixie ear deformity. I went back many times and was given steroids every time and referred to other doctors (in other words, Dr. Yeilding did nothing). After tons of tests, every doctor agreed that something was done wrong with the facelift. I even paid for two consults with other plastic surgeons, and they agreed that it looked bad but said they wouldn't know what was wrong until they went in surgically. Finally, a year and a half after the first facelift with Dr. Yeilding, I had another one with a plastic surgeon who does faces only. He found surgical things left inside me, said it was a difficult reconstruction and that my muscles were "torn and shredded". Dr. Yeilding has never reached out and she has not responded to my request for reimbursement for the second surgery, which was thousands of dollars. The staff treats you like family, the scheduling of appointments was very efficient and accommodating. The facilities are State of the Art .I've had only 2 peels so far and people comment on how good my skin looks, I am also using the medical grade cleanser, Tri-Retinol Complex and sun-block. I appreciated the personalized education provided by the Doctor on how to take care of my skin and how important it is to follow a regimen.....we can't expect to see "miracles" if we only do one sporadic thing. I went here for a mark on my eye. They took a sample and called a few days later to say the mark could become cancerous and they had to put me under to do surgery. There was no talk of monitoring it and no talk of any other option at all. So I requested the pathologist report. Nothing in the report suggested it was an issue so I called my Pathologist friend who recommended a second opinion. Misdiagnosis. I went to this office for Blepharoplasty and botox, and I am glad she cancel my surgery. The staff was absolute delightful, friendly, helpful all over you and at the end when they new they were not going to collect my money they were rude, they even look at me. The first visit $250.00, Dr.Yielding told me what she was going to do with my eyes, the second visit when I went for the botox, she change her mind and told me something different for my surgery what left me already scare, then she apply botox only till the half of the forehead, left a big bump and the rest of the forehead with deep wrinkles, extremely painful, I felt the needle cracking in my bones, with such an attitude. I would never recommend this place to anyone. This is the most unprofessional "doctor" I have ever encountered. I went in to consult with Dr. Yielding about Kybella injections for my chin. She spent maybe 2 minutes with me and instead recommended that I do coolsculpting mini because of the limited down time. I did the treatment on December 30th with a nice technician. The tech followed up with me throughout the first week of January. Then I call on January 16th to schedule the standard 8 week follow up appointment only to be flatly told that YMD no longer offers coolsculpting services and that there was no one I could talk to. As someone who works in the medical field and is married to a read MD, I can't imagine a doctor thinking this level of patient negligence is acceptable. There is no one to speak to if I experience any adverse reactions during the healing time. I was never even notified that the team was leaving and that I would need to find another business if I wanted to follow up. I went into this office for Botox on Nov 1th 2015 and with in one week afterwards my eye lids began to droop and outside corners began to look sunken giving me a tired appearance all the time. I called on the 23rd of November to seek answers and a nurse named Mary promised someone would call me with in the hour ..... No one even called me that day! I called the next day and spoke with the very pleasant receptionist who assured me that it would get better and that it took a whole 14 days for the botox to work and there was nothing they could do until after Thanksgiving weekend , On Tuesday, 2 weeks from the day of my initial appoinment someone finally called me back and offered no help at all and suggested that more treatment may be neccesary. I emphatically explained that I would not spend another dollar and I wanted a phone call from the office manager. She promised that they would call back and that was on Dec 1st. Today is Dec 9th! I have been recieving botox injections for the past ten years, so I do have alot of experience with this treatment.
