The staff was super helpful when they took my call beforehand to explain how long the visit would take so I could plan my work schedule around it. The nurses, receptionists, and doctors are all phenomenally kind and patient. The Imaging team was super chatty & made the experience really enjoyable. I loved that the urgent care was in the same building as all of the other speciality providers, so they can all see you as part of the same appointment. Would definitely recommend!

I went to Swedish Redmond Urgent Care today because it was at the top of a short list of places…read morethat my doctor recommended for me to go to get the XRay and the blood tests that he wanted me to get done. The receptionist in imaging was very nice. The XRay technician, Sean, was personable, and he told me a few interesting tidbits about the XRay machine in addition to giving me the instructions as to how I needed to stand for the XRays to be taken. I was in and out of Imaging in about 10 minutes, and it was a pleasant and hassle-free experience. The lobby was nice too. Next, I was checked in to the Lab by Austin, who has a great sense of humor. He had me laughing so hard I told him that he should do stand up comedy! He told me that he actually does want to do stand up comedy, and that his friends have already come up with a possible name for his Netflix show if he ever gets one! I hope he does get a Netflix show, I would definitely watch it! His comic timing was spot on. I shot back some jokes and I made him laugh too, and he said I was hilarious. Austin tried drawing my blood, but he wasn't able to find a good vein at first. This happens a lot for blood draws for me. I do drink a lot of water, but my veins are not easy to find for most people who draw my blood. Austin decided to draw blood from my hand instead of my arm, which was a good call because he was able to locate a suitable vein in my hand for the second attempt at drawing my blood, and he started to get the blood draw going... but then the needle (it's a smaller needle that he used for the hand than the needle that he would have used for the arm) popped out of my hand before he could draw enough blood to do the tests, and my blood spurted all over my fingers, my hand, and my forearm. I can't stand to see blood (mine or anyone else's), and I look away even for a normal blood draw, so I was mildly horrified when I saw the blood all over my fingers, my hand, and my forearm. Austin apologized for this. I accepted his apology. I feel like it could have happened to anyone. Austin called Daryl over to try to do the third attempt at my blood draw. Daryl was also unable to find a suitable vein. Daryl had a great sense of humor, too, and he ribbed Austin playfully and made both Austin and I laugh. Daryl also complimented my jade rings that I wear every day on my left hand now, and Daryl happened to be wearing a jade ring as well! I shared with Daryl that my new nickname this year is Jade. Daryl inserted the needle into my arm, but he was unable to get any blood from the place that he inserted the needle. Austin told me that they weren't going to try more than 3 times today. He said that they can usually get enough blood on the first try, and occasionally they need a second try, but the third try was the final try for today and they would not try more than 3 times in one sitting. It has frequently taken people 2 tries to draw my blood in the past, but I've never needed a third attempt until today, and I've never had an overall unsuccessful blood draw until today, either. Austin and Daryl were so kind to me, though. Both guys were upfront about my veins being hard to find, but I never felt blamed or shamed in any way. Austin kept telling me that I was doing "outstanding" even though I was growing a bit nervous and worried after the two unsuccessful blood draws and was fervently hoping that the guys would be able to successfully draw enough blood from me the third time, for the tests that need to be done. Both guys had used several techniques to try to get my blood flowing more to my arms and hands, including having me clench and unclench my fists, using the tourniquet, and even using a hot compress on the areas that they wanted to draw blood from. Unfortunately none of these techniques ended up being very effective. I really feel like both guys did everything that they could to try to get the blood that they needed, and it wasn't totally their fault that they weren't able to get it. My veins are hard to work with. I'm kind of bummed that I still need to get my blood drawn again another day soon, though. I thought I'd be good to go after today. Austin painstakingly cleaned off all of the blood from my fingers, hand, and forearm after the second needle had popped out of my hand and my blood had spurted all over those areas. He used several packets of alcohol wipes to do this, and he was very thorough and he got every last drop of splattered blood off of me. Then he carefully bandaged my hand. Although I'm bummed that I still need to get my blood drawn again, overall I felt very cared for by every staff member at Swedish Redmond Urgent Care that I interacted with today, and interacting with each and every one of them was a very good experience for me. Also, I don't think I've ever laughed that hard at a hospital before in my entire life. I wish Austin all the best if he does make it as a stand up comedian. He would rock it!

I went there few days ago as I wasn't feeling well thanks to Covid. So I got seen right away, they did all the tests they need to do to rule out clots in the lungs as well pneumonia. Doctor was super nice. The nurse who took care of me was super nice as well. I was in n out within two hours or less even. Took my mom to the same ER two days ago as she is 80 years old and she got Covid. She want feeling well so I was worried since her sodium level drops suddenly. Dr did amazing job as well addressing all these issues. Send her home with the Covid medicine. The nurse was kinda of rude at first not sure if we came in at the wrong time so he was having a bad time. But after the Dr checked my mom the nurse become nicer. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this ED. Thank you everyone who took care of me and my mama!

There are around 4 or 5 so far, amassing for over $3K total. After insurance, of course.

Especially Devin and forgive me for not remembering their name but some of the Latino male nurses. My son came in with a laceration in his head today, and the doctor found a unique way of gluing it so we can avoid stitches. It was an excellent experience for my son so redeeming from ER 6 mo ago. By far, my favorite urgent care clinic in the area! Their care and upbeat attitudes are unparalleled. Sometimes the wait be a little bit longer than I would hope but I've found that to be pretty normal almost everywhere. Although this time with the medium laceration, we were in and out so quickly. Keep it up team! We adore you guys!

I've had a sore throat for a couple weeks and the Urgent Care location I normally go to was closed,…read moreso I figured I'd try Indigo. Is "Meh" a sufficient summary? My appointment was for 5:00 but they say to show up 10 minutes early. Traffic was light so I was there at 4:30. The guy at the desk says "Well, there's a 4:45 ahead of you, so go ahead and have a seat." 4:45 appointment shows up at 4:48, checks in, goes back. At 4:58 he calls me over, asks a couple questions to check me in (including prepaying based on their check of insurance), and I sit down again. At 5:11, they take me back to a room. The usual questions and a strep test. Doc comes in, takes a look, and says it's probably post nasal drip from a cold. Do a nasal rinse before bed and take some Mucinex DM if I'd like. A few minutes later, a nurse comes in and hands me some paperwork and starts moving me towards the door. I had to ask if my strep test was negative (fortunately, yes). As I'm reviewing the paperwork at home, there are a couple things that are surprising - when a sentence starts with "Discussed" I expect that we would've discussed it. Sorry, we didn't talk reducing nasal steroids if I get nosebleeds. Is that a big deal? Probably not, and I can read fine. We didn't talk about chamomile tea or fluid intake. I find it concerning when a medical chart says we discussed something that I'm reading for the first time. Between that and waiting in the totally empty lobby for half an hour when there's no one coming in or out? Meh. I'll try to plan my sicknesses around my preferred Urgent Care's hours in future. Update: I get it now. I got an email summary of my visit and they're big on metrics. My "Check In" was at 4:55, presumably when the receptionist started on my paperwork. By ignoring the fact that I'd spent 25 minutes just hanging out before checking in, their numbers look much better. Yeah, I'm good going places that focus more on patient experience than contrived data. Update 2: It was a bacterial throat infection. A doc at a different clinic took one look at it, heard that it'd been that way for over two weeks (same info as Indigo had) and was like, "Yeah, that's an infection. Viral wouldn't last that long, so here's a script for some antibiotics."

Then I checked the other urgent care locations and saw they were at least the same price. They do tend to prescribe medication more often here than other places, but when I've expressed concern with a specific Rx I had issues with, they were quick to find an alternative. The biggest reason I love this place is the time it takes. I'm usually out the door in less than 15 minutes (with an appointment). That includes greeting reception, getting vitals from an assistant, answering questions about why I'm there, talking to the doc, and leaving with my visit summary. I don't come here when I'm feeling well - I want to be back home, wrapped in a blanket, hopefully with some antibiotics or medication to make my plague less miserable. More than any other place I've been, this checks that box. If you're looking for a conversation about how your family is doing, make an appointment with your PCP. If you're sick and need something addressed quickly, visit One Urgent Care.
