I got to work with Michele last year and she was excellent! We were re-locating from Phoenix, and were on a very strict time frame to find a home in Austin. Michele was the ONLY realtor that returned my call. I had contacted several agents in Austin, in desperation to find an agent ASAP. Michele was patient, and assisted us along the way in every process. We flip flopped a few times on buying vs renting. Never did she attempt to pressure us to buy vs rent. In the end we found a home online. We put an offer in w/o ever seeing the home. We put our confidence in Michele. She came to scope out the property, and surrounding area. When it came time for the loan process, she was extremely helpful to us and our mortgage lender. I would HIGHLY recommend Michele. She is a great agent. When it comes time for us to sell and buy, I will contact Michele again. We had such a great experience. I did see a previous review where someone mentioned that they felt Michele might of had an issue because this person had a "Hispanic" last name. I hate to go there, but I am. My married name is Griffin. My maiden name is Medina. I am 100% full blooded Mexican! In no point in time did I ever feel discriminated against. I find it sad this previous reviewer had to resort to that. Not only would I use her again, but my whole "Hispanic" family would too. Lol Thank you Michele! read more

Michele listed our home for sale late last summer, 2011, and brought us two contract offers by the 8th day after the listing. Even in a slow market, buyers were motivated because Michele gave us excellent advice on how to stage and prepare the property before the listing began. Once the Scott Realty Team marketing blitz kicked in with all the Internet sites and links, there were multiple showings each day and lots of positive feedback about how well the home was prepared for viewing and how easy it was for realtors to bring clients to such an inviting home. Michele's experience and knowledge were evident as she explained and analyzed the contracts. We accepted an offer slightly over the listed price and agreed to assist the buyer with some closing costs. This was definitely a win-win negotiation and we remain extremely pleased with Michele's professionalism and responsiveness. She kept every committment to us and made sure that everything went smoothly through the closing, about 40 days after the property was listed for sale! I have sold two previous homes with other realtors, but neither went as quickly or smoothly as this sale, due to Michele's hard work and expertise. I highly recommend Scott Realty to anyone selling, buying or renting real estate. read more

Will and Michelle Scott are great agents. They are personable and super human beings, but above all they are honest. When we signed with Will, we knew right away that he was not one of those b.s. guys who will say anything or act like you can get a million dollars for your $200k house just to get you to sign on the dotted line. And he follows through on the advertising he promises. We had two agents before Will, and Scott Realty ranks far above either of them. We went with them the end of September 2010, and within a month we had an offer. It fell through when the people's financing went south. But in the depths of the dead season (and in the depths of the worst housing market here in Austin in years), we had another offer come in on New Year's Eve. We closed January 27, 2011, only four months after signing with Scott Realty. Will and Michelle are true professionals, and you won't be sorry going with them. You are welcome to contact us if you want verification. If you do, put Scott Realty in the subject line so I won't automatically delete it. Ray Lanford, raylanford@hotmail.com read more

I am Jarrad's wife (see his review below). The day we were supposed to meet with Michele to view properties, my parents were with us. So, apparently she was afraid to meet with Jarrad, a man who has been married for five years, holds down a steady job and was bringing his in-laws to the house viewing. Perhaps Michele could have showed some professionalism and actually returned a phone call to cancel our appointment, instead of leaving us stranded (with my diabetic mother) in front of a house right at lunchtime. I am a young female and understand the need to be safe. I conduct outreach in low-income communities and I have never treated any clients with the blatant disregard and unprofessionalism of this woman. There are proper ways to handle such issues, and she managed to handle the situation in the worst way possible. Also, to come on here and smear Jarrad and say that he made her uneasy and that she felt unsafe? So unprofessional!!! Why, because he has a Hispanic last name? I would think twice before conducting business with somebody as irresponsible as Michele. read more

Like Alisa L., I was surprised to see a negative review regarding Scott Realty Team. Over the years I have purchased several homes. Recently I decided to sell my home, assist my daughter with purchase of her home and purchase another residence for myself. These all needed to be done in a tight time frame and was handled seamlessly by Michelle. We made numerous appointments with her which she never failed to keep and met us on several occasions when we just saw a house we wanted to check and gave her a call. Michelle anticipated many of the questions we would have and provided us with information on what to expect. The showings, inspections, offers and closings were all handled promptly and closing on all three went without any problems. In addition she followed up after the sale to make sure we remembered various tax issues. She did not have to do that. I have recommended her to several people and will continue to do so. If I decide to sell or purchase again I would definitely call Michelle. read more

I worked with Michele and Will Scott from Scott Realty Team to sell my house during this most depressing housing market. We got their referral through a friend who had used Scott Realty team in previous transactions and were extremely satisfied with them. Right from setting a realitic pricing, comps, staging, listing house innovatively on web (including web marketing) we were guided and assisted in every step. During the time our house was listed...Michele and Will went out of their way and showed us numerous properties. I don't recall a single instance when they showed their inability or unavailability to show us house...(including day before thanksgiving and Christmas). We finally sold our house in Dec last year. I cannot stop raving about Michele and Will...They are thorough professionals and you cannot except anything but best in services from them. My best wishes for them and good luck to any home buyers and seller's. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about Scott Realty Team. Before asking Michele and Will to be our real estate agents we rented from them for more than six years and felt very confident about asking them to help us purchase our first home. They exceeded and continue to exceed our expectations. They listened to our specifications and helped us find homes that met our needs as well as our budget. Michele was very patient with us and very informative, which was great since this experience was so new to us. She helped negotiate the price and handled a lot of the details with our lender. Everything we were dreading about home buying (that we'd heard from others) went so smoothly. Even months after our purchase Michele continues to follow up and provide helpful information and advice. We couldn't be happier with Scott Realty Team or our new home! read more

Michelle Scott has been phenomenal to work with. I am a single mom with a limited budget and had never bought a house before, so it was unfamiliar territory. Michelle led me through the process, taking into account my preferences and concerns every step of the way. She found and helped me negotiate the purchase of what is the perfect house for my price range and needs. She was always 100% professional, on time, and courteous. Her friendly, calm, supportive demeanor were helpful not only during the search and purchase process, but also afterwards- for example, when I wanted her advice on my home's updated tax appraisal, she gave me detailed information and advice in response. If I ever move (I love the house, so am not planning on it right now), I'll definitely want to work with Michelle Scott again! read more

I had a great experience with Will Scott of the Scott Realty Team in getting a rental property and later in purchasing a home. My husband and I literally had ONE day to come to Austin in November 2010 to find a place to rent before we moved there for his new job. Will Scott was so helpful and accommodating with our last minute request to look at rental properties and we were able to sign a lease before we left town. We turned to Mr. Scott again when we decided to buy our first home, again on a tight schedule (what can I say, we are procrastinators), and Will guided us through the whole process. He was professional, kind, accommodating, and always patient when I asked a million questions. I would work with SRT again and I give them as a recommendation to friends who are looking to move to ATX. read more

I've done a couple of home purchases and rental contracts with Will & Michelle Scott and was very satisfy with all transactions. Their knowledge in home price negotiation, and advices handling with Bank foreclosure properties has helped me entering the purchase contract confidently. Home viewing and rental showing appointments was very responsive and prompt even in the weekend by Will and Michelle. In a couple of occasions Will did call me and hour a head that he will be half hour late for the showing appointment as he had to arrange a sudden time conflict with Michelle after Michelle could not be home on time to watch their baby. Very professional and very responsible parents by both. I'd give a five star rating to both. -Nguyen read more

The Scott Realty Team are great! Will and Michele's knowledge of the real estate process, negotiation skills, new builder structure/process, and patience in showing my family and I houses and showing my house have resulted in very smooth, successful real estate transactions. Their great patience with us, and their ability to explain every aspect of the process made everything we did much easier, and throughout it all, their professionalism and experience showed through. As first time homebuyers we were comfortable and excited about purchasing our new home. Highly recommended! read more

I worked with both Will and Michele on my first investment property in Round Rock. I had an excellent experience with both of them and would highly recommend their services. Over a period of 9 months I viewed a large number of properties until I found the one that fit my criteria the best. Since this was my first investment property I needed a little hand holding and was impressed with how helpful and patient both Will and Michele were. I plan to do business with them again on my next property and will be recommending Scott Realty Team to all my family and friends. read more

I have bought and sold homes in several states over the last 30 years and can honestly say that my experience will the Scott Realty team was one of the most professional and pleasant I've ever had. All of my emails and calls were answered promptly, their marketing effort was outstanding, the listing photographs were taken by a professional, and best of all, my condo in Austin sold within 30 days for full asking price in a soft market. I'd highly recommend Will and Michele to any buyers or sellers looking for capable, bright, and professional Relators. read more

Wonderful website, atrocious service. Made an appointment with Michele to view a property. On the way there we were running late so I texted her to let her know. Her response? She cancelled and didn't return our phone calls! So, we ended up calling the broker on the sign in front of the house and viewed the property with him later that day. My advice is to check the website for available listings, go view them in person and call the broker on the signs in front. We had much better luck this way than through Scott Realty. read more

Will and Michele Scott are one of the most professional team I have worked with. They are knowledgeable, friendly, responsive and provide valuable feedback and advice. Action speaks louder than words; I had over a dozen completed real estate transactions with them in the past 3 years and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. I disagree with the negative comments with regards to racism. I am Chinese and I never had any issues working with Will and Michele. read more

Sent a few contact emails and got a response from Michele. We had 4-5 houses we were interested in viewing and she told me we would need to pay the app fee for each house we wanted to view. She said it was standard procedure. We have never been asked that and felt it was a blatant attempt at an easy money grab. I will not be using Scott Realty again. read more

Saw 2 homes with Michele. While we were looking at the first she seemed more interested in her phone than telling us about the property. On the second she told me that this neighborhood would be a good match because there are basketball courts nearby. Why do you assume I play basketball? Because I'm black? read more

I had a great experience with Michele she was very prompt in helping me find a home to lease and very nice. She was available for me when I needed her and not pushy as I have exerienced with some realators in the past. I will definantly call on her when we are ready to buy again or rent!!! read more
