We were looking to buy a house around Richmond when we moved from Norfolk and my mortgage company…read moreforwarded my info to these guys since we didn't know anyone in the area. They called LITERALLY (not figuratively, it actually was literally) one minute later to touch base. Greg Middleton is the BEST (literally, not hyperbole) person to go around house hunting with, in my opinion. We averaged 4 houses a day, all around Richmond and its suburbs each time I came up, which is nice because after making a four hour round trip, the last thing you want is someone not willing to spend six hours driving all over the city with you. He also didn't murder me in all those empty houses we were seeing, so that is definitely worth another star in my book. That means I didn't get to murder him either, so minus one star if that is what you are looking for in a realtor. (-1 star: too hard to murder) He is also very prompt responding to the million (okay, that one is an exaggeration) questions I had about buying a home for the first time and clearly knows what he is talking about, so that is pretty awesome. He held my hand through ever step of the process. (Figuratively, not literally, so minus one star if that is what you are looking for in a realtor. -1 star: won't literally hold your hand) Overall, I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone. Use Greg for your real estate needs, you probably won't get murdered!

First, before even creating a lease we had to call multiple times a week to even get the leasing agent to send us our lease to even sign. Thanks allyn. Our move in day arrives and I drive to their office and am told that I should have gotten a welcome packet before today that would have told me about "picking up the keys from a lock box on the apartment" okay. Small mistake no big deal I'll just drive back there. So I get back in my car drive to my apartment only to get ANOTHER call from them saying "oops you actually need to pick your keys up here." Great. Drive all the away back walk in and then they ask me if I have up my electric service??? SURPRISE YET AGAIN SOMETHING THAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SEND ME BEFORE I MOVED IN. After awkwardly sitting in the leasing office on hold with Dominion Energy for 30 minutes I finally got everything correct. All these issues aside it wouldn't have been that upsetting but the disinterest and unapologetic attitude of the agents in the office is what was so upsetting. I hope things turn around but as of day one we will not be resigning with property result. Three years later!!!!!!! It was funny going back at reading this start to my experience. Honestly. I love the building. The pool was always nice in the summer. Rent is on the lower end for the area. Parking is difficult at times but being across the street from the grocery store makes up for it. The matinence guys are the best!! We lived there for three happy years and I was prepared to leave an overall good review. Then the move out process started and back to dealing with the folks at the leasing office who are less than pleasant. First off they tell you that in the last two months of living there they are going to show your apartment to strangers while you live there. That's annoying but I get it. It's nice to actually see the place you're going to live. I wish the had an actual fitness center and sometimes it's hard to get packages delivered but again I really did love our little apartment and the rest of shockoe Great place to live and would definitely recommend the building to anyone interested. Just take not the office staff are not the most welcoming.
