When we arrived the day-of, the Back to Rock team made the birthday girl feel welcome. We were able to decorate the party/stage room and get some snacks and drinks ready. As guests arrived, the waiver process was quick for parents to complete (those who hadn't completed them online previously). Once all the guests arrived, the B2R team took it away! I was able to sit back and enjoy watching the party-goers learn the recording process, practice their instruments (my daughter chose Imagine Dragons' Thunder and played the keyboard). After they each learned the instruments they went into the recording studio to record the vocals. They rocked it out! My daughter and her friends left the evening with smiles on their faces and when they got home, a link to their recording was in their parents' inboxes. So cool! Bach 2 Rock was a unique, fun experience for all the kids. They had a great time and learned something new, too. The staff were all great and the studio is AMAZING.

Rescheduling lessons is a pain, though. For my son's instrument there is one and only one teacher who teaches 3 days of the week, and their flexibility when they've had no available make-up slots has varied. It was nightmarish a year ago, and better lately. My kids have been in lots of other classes/programs and rescheduling at Bach to Rock is just different. Also, when my son has been a little sick, well enough to play but didn't want to expose his teacher, they still charged us for the lesson... which is in line with their policies, but the other private teachers we've worked with have been kinder about illness especially when the key concern is protecting them.
