I found Dr. Goldman office online, and decided to bring my wife since she has been having serious issues with her knees for many years. Well, my other knee didn't fail (yet), but my shoulder did. Turned out I needed rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder. While they were operating they trimmed up some of the bone to increase my range of motion. It's been about three months since the surgery and the recovery is going well. The therapy and recovery is way more painful than knee surgery, which aligns with what almost everyone says. Again, Dr. Goldman and his staff have been excellent. And now his PA, Franz laughs at my jokes. The shoulder was the third operation he's done on me in a year. It's a good thing I bought the membership package! read more

He does not make you feel rushed AT ALL and truly listens to you and comes up with the best course of action for your particular need. A few people might say it was a long wait. This place is like a used car lot. Scott Goldman damaged my leg for the rest of my life after doing a "repair" to a tear of my vests medals tendon after my quadricep detached from my patella. He performed my surgery without even doing an MRI of my leg, that should have been a HIGE red flag! After many trips to Stanford Northern California it was determined my saphenous nerve was damaged during the surgery. I spent more then 5 years in physical therapy to walk again. It is an extremely rare situation but the Dr's at Stanford said I was "butchered"! You will never See Goldman after the surgery either, it will always be a PA. Please get a second opinion! read more

This is a really late review but that's part of the testimony. In 2013 I tore my ACL and meniscus preparing for a Mixed Martial Arts competition. Found Dr Goldman and gave him a shot. He was professional and knowledgeable and takes pride in his appearance and skill set. We scheduled surgery and the surgery was a success, any surgery is a challenging and uncomfortable experience however the end goal is repair, recovery and getting back to an active lifestyle. Dr Goldman understood what I was doing professionally at the time as a professional mixed martial artist and my future aspirations to go into the fire service. So recovery and full function was of the utmost importance. Here we are 10 years later, in that time I have gone through two training camps and competitions before retirement from MMA, put myself through a 16 week physically demanding fire academy, have had several grappling tournaments and was able to continue as a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu accomplishing my goal of getting to black belt. I am now a professional firefighter paramedic having gone through a professional fire academy, have been on several strike teams in the wild land setting for deployments that last 14-21 days also an avid hiker and hunter. The only reason I list all of that is as a testimony to Dr Goldmans skills and professionalism. I haven't had any problems with my knee no excess scarring or stiffness or pain. I was worried that my goals would be sidetracked but I was able to maintain my active dynamic lifestyle and profession. I'm 40 years old and I am not slowing down. I've been coming to Dr. Goldman's office for over two years, and if I could give a rating for his staff that I've interacted in the rear of the office it would be 5 stars. However, the receptionist that works in the front, greeting patients, and confirming appointments is very, very, very rude. With that it's 3 stars. Each time that I had a visit and checked in, it's as if I was more of "an inconvenience", than to receive a service with Dr. Goldman or Frantz Despas (PA). She never has a pleasant greeting and probably should work in which there's less patient interaction. The x-ray staff, and Frantz are great to work with (even though at my last appointment I was expecting Dr. Goldman). Frantz did take the time to get to know me and didn't rush through my consult. I was seeing Dr. Goldman for a couple of years because of a torn Rotator Cuff (on both shoulders), he had already did surgery on one of my shoulders, and we were in the process of discussing surgery for the other. During this time I had built a rapport with the staff there. However, the entire time there, I thought something wasn't right, but couldn't put my finger on it. Then, after 2 years, he decides that he doesn't want to treat me anymore and to find another doctor. After reading some reviews, I noticed that Dr. Goldman did the same thing to some other patients who felt that he wasn't making enough money off them. Like their reviews said, everybody else in the office is very friendly but Dr. Goldman seems to have lost all his compassion and they believe that his focus is money. Personally, I think it was more of a racist move on my issue, as I couldn't see any other reason for me being removed as a patient. My 10 year old broke her foot at school. We sat at urgent care for 4 hours. My daughter cried the whole entire time in excruciating pain. I went to see how much longer and we hadn't even been registered. I called Dr Goldman's office. There were 0 appointments until next week. They heard her crying and told me to bring her in. We were seen in less than 10 minutes. Had an xray, diagnosis, and cast in about a half hour. The staff was ALL amazing. So caring, sweet, and considered her pain and fears. Dr. Goldman bedside manner is so caring and he is amazing. He helped my older daughter with her broken arm and myself with a few surgeries. I highly recommend this doctor. He is very kind and professional, and it's obvious he truly cares about his patients. I have been seeing him for about 5 months for a workers comp injury, and he has always submitted paperwork in a timely manner, and made sure that I receive the treatment I need. Whenever I needed a new form for my disability claim, it was submitted right away. I also couldn't be happier with the physical therapy I received from his clinic. It addressed all of my physical needs and definitely accelerated the healing process. All of the therapists are very knowledgeable and patient. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because front office wait times can be long and frustrating, but he always ensures that all of my issues are addressed with each visit.
