Eventually, after running a camera we determined the root cause was roots perforating my concrete pipe. I had two plumbers quote a replacement for the concrete pipe. Wedgeworth quoted $3250 w/ 5yr warranty and Beacon quoted $2560 w/ 10yr warranty. Beacon completed the job quickly and for the agreed upon price--while also identifying errors Wedgeworth had made when they ran the camera. After dealing with several plumbers in the Spring Branch area over the last year, I would highly recommend Beacon Plumbing. Their prices were lower, and their quality of work was greater. A few minutes after, water started coming out of the toilet -from top and underneath-. This was happening fast and, while in panic mode- started placing towels towels to contain the nasty water. In other words, we were facing a septic emergency, and we needed professional help "pronto". After wasting almost 2 hours -while waiting for one of the big names in plumbing- I decided to call Beacon around 10:30pm. They did not only pick up the phone and confirm the service call within 45min, Beacon actually arrived -ready to tackle the problem- on time! Matt and Adrian started working right away, and in minutes they provided an assessment of the situation and a quote. Not only Matt and Adrian were extremely professional, but also their customer service skills were above par. This was a very tricky job; nevertheless, Matt and Adrian were able to temporarily resolve the situation and start arranging the action items required to permanently resolve the sewage drain issue the following morning. Ona side note, while Matt was walking me through the plan for the following morning, Adrian was working on cleaning all the affected area, and the results were outstanding. Things were almost like nothing happened. The following morning, Beacon sent Matt, Adrian, and Omar. Omar was in-charge of making the repairs, and the results were excellent. He was able ro replace the affected pipe and have things back ro normal in no-time. I have ro say that the quality of work, professionalism, and personalized attention were excellent. I expanded the issue. she said she was driving and couldn't take the information. she asked that I text my address and issue. I did that and received a text back saying that some one was on the way and would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived and suggested that the sink be completely "replumbed" and said he he could fix it now for a price of $597. I agreed to have the work done. He left to get parts. When he got back he went to work. When he showed me that it was done. The clog was cleared and there were no leaks. He had used very lightweight parts (much smaller than he replaced) to fix it. The parts he used are listed at Home Depot for less than $20. I had agreed to the price so I paid him. He said my receipt would be emailed. it was not. This was Saturday and the following Monday was Labor Day so I called on Tuesday. when I got the receipt it didn't have any pricing details. It showed the work that was done and the total price. $597 to fix a clogged drain. I asked for a breakdown of parts, labor and how much surcharge for work done on Saturday. I asked if there was extra charge because of holiday weekend. I was told that someone would call me back. No one called. I paid almost $600 to unclog my bathroom drain because I approved the work and the price. I expected better quality parts and an explanation of the charges. I won't use this company again. Very much overpriced and no customer service from the office. UPDATE - September 18: After posting this review, a company representative contacted me. On September 9, he emailed me stating that after discussing the $597 charge with ownership, they agreed the rate was "a little higher than usual" and would issue a $147 credit. I thanked him and again requested a breakdown of the original $597 charge for parts, labor, Saturday service, and any holiday-weekend surcharge. I still have not received that information. Today I received notice that the refund will be $127 instead of the $147 promised in writing, with no explanation for the $20 difference. I appreciate the company responding and offering a partial refund, but I am disappointed that the refund amount differs from what was promised and that I still have not received an explanation of the original charges.

I obviously changed to another company. They came out and said my generator had not been properly serviced at all. It was dirty and nothing had been done to service it. They also said the coolant sensor was bad and should have been replaced -- this is why it kept shutting down. I paid $185 x 2 for literally nothing. Very happy with my new group and highly recommend Generators 4U and Jason. He knows what to do and he treats the customer well.
