I cannot recommend Almeda Water Well Service highly enough. Whenever I call, they answer promptly. If they can resolve an issue over the phone without charging you, they will; otherwise, they will come to your home to fix your well fast. Their team will troubleshoot until they identify the problem, provide a solution, and ensure you are taken care of quickly. I experienced intermittent pressure loss, even after changing my filter. I also drained my 100-gallon tank to flush out any debris and bypassed my water-softening system to see if that was the culprit. Almeda initially guided me through these steps to help save me some money. Ultimately, they sent two technicians over the same day to diagnose the issue, checking the tank, breakers, and pipes back to the well. They discovered a leak about three feet down, which could not be repaired immediately, so they scheduled a follow-up for the next day. This was the best experience I have ever had with a home improvement company. While many businesses may seem out to take advantage of you, Almeda Water Well Service stood apart. A definite yes to Almeda Water Well. They have serviced my well in Richmond in the past and are very reasonably price considering it's not a job anyone can just do. I called to schedule service because my well water pump was too low to operate the house. They were scheduled to come out the next day to assess and repair. However, I found the problem and shut off the valve. I called the company after hours and left a message with their answering service. Oh my goodness, I called Almeda this morning because we have been without water since Friday, the man I talked with said we can come now and I was like YES! With in 40 mins they were here and fixed our well which was installed by our builder so a different well company on the North side instlled ours! They replaced the box because it was apparently wired wrong by the other well co! Because it was still under warranty there was no charge! Almeda is now our new well company for all our needs! Almeda Water Well Service is great. We woke up in the morning with no water. I called a little after 8 in the morning and they were here by 10:45. They repaired a broken purifier line and identified the problem - the circuit breaker in the box had degraded and finally broken so the wires would not stay attached. I have to call an electrician and have the circuit box replaced- then call Almeda back before we turn on the pump. In addition, the tank was waterlogged and Luis showed me that I have to turn off the power and drain the tank every four months. Luis and John were great - total professionals. This is hands down the best water well drilling company I met with and I am very happy with their work. After meeting with 3 others for nearly a year, I chose Almeda because the owner has 3 generations of experience behind him and he said it would be an uncomplicated drill, while other companies said it would be complicated and messy. These guys put in my well 4 years ago and did a great job. They knew to drill a little deeper than what others drill to get the best water. We had a water specialist come out to test our water and he said that it was the best water that he has ever tested in this area. I am so thankful for their knowledge on that. We had an issue a few months after moving in, they came out right away and fixed the problem, guys were very nice and got the job done quickly. First, they tried to scam me into buying a new water pump for $600 which I didn't need as mine is still good. Their workers are totally incompetent and lazy. It took them 45 minutes just to figure out that there was a voltage drop on the line to the pump, told me there was nothing they could do to fix it, then charged me $150 for not fixing anything. When I called the manager to let him know that this is twice now that his guys came out and didn't want to work and left me without water. I asked him why I should pay him $150 just for his guys to tell me they can't fix it, he was very rude and had nothing but excuses. He said his guys were licensed electricians, yet when I called him on the BS, and told him a licensed electrician should be able to test a line within 5 minutes, and should be able to fix or replace the line as necessary, he just yelled at me on the phone. Totally unprofessional. He should have had a different crew come out and fix it, since the first crew obviously didn't know what they were doing. read more

They do not keep their appointments and I called them virtually every day for two weeks. They do not call to let you know they will be missing the appointment. I spoke to Mike and the secretary on multiple occasions. I'm not saying they are bad people, but the way they do business is not good. They overbook themselves and miss scheduled appointments. When I did get them to come out, they told me twice is was too wet in the yard to work. Then they promised to have the work done on one of the two dry days before a storm system was supposed to come in. I called them several times that day and Mike says,"My guy will be there at lunch." His man did not show and the rain started again. After they failed to make the appointment again, I called and told the secretary they were fired and I would find someone else to fix it. I gave them two weeks to get it done. We were lucky that the neighbor allowed us to use their water. Our service is still out and now I am calling other people to fix the well. I do not recommend Almeda Water Well Services. If it were up to them, we would be without water for a month or more. I have a wife, two small children, and a disabled veteran to take care of at the address without a functional well. It's a good thing we have neighbors we can depend on until I can get someone else to get our water running again. Don't pick these guys, they will let you down. read more

Had a leak around the gasket on my well, called them and they were there within an hour. They replaced what was rusted and leaking and primed the well. Price was much less than I expected and working perfectly. read more
