He arrived on time, and was respectfully wearing a mask (this service call was during the COViD-19 pandemic) and quickly set about identifying and resolving the issues. Anything moved or displaced to carry out his work was put back and his attention to detail was impeccable. Matt is very friendly, made my parents and my self very comfortable having him in their home. He tackled a large cross wiring issue with a ceiling fan and bank of lights in the dining room, and several other switching issues around the house. I definitely recommend him for your electrical needs. We'll be sure to call on him should we ever need an electrician in the future.

Robert was kind, professional and told me no worries I will be there tomorrow and get this done for you. Very peace of mind conversation. I so appreciate speaking with a professional and look forward to meeting Robert tomorrow as I have hired him based on many recommendations on Nextdoor and here on Yelp. I like that customers praise his work, his quality outlook on customer satisfaction and his fair pricing. I will follow-up with a final review once Robert has completed the work but I feel good based on our conversation and his confidence in troubleshooting this job and his kind demeanor. Stay tuned for the follow-up review. UPDATE: What an amazing person and fantastic electrician. Robert showed up promptly ready to tackle my project which involved 5 receptacles on a GFCI circuit. One of the receptacles was bad and Robert restored all of those outlets in our kitchen. I am so thankful to have had Robert come and check out the circuit which was consistently tripping and do his magic. Robert is honest, trustworthy, skilled, quick, reasonable and has excellent communication and customer service skills. A true blessing. Robert is in my contact list as my go to electrician here in Orange County and I highly recommend this genuinely authentic good person and outstanding electrician.

Robert came to my house upon a referral from a friend and is definitely a competent electrician. He…read moreknows his stuff. The problem is that he does not stand behind his work. I hired Robert to install a Tesla wall charger I purchased. When I came home, he decided to install the charger that came with the car and modify it to work with the 220 outlet. This would give me 80% of the value, and then I'd be able to sell the wall charger to recoup my costs. The caveat was that I now had to run a cord underneath my garage door. He assured me that the cord could handle the weight of the door. Sure enough, a year later, the cord has now failed. I called Robert explaining this, and he told me that I must have driven over the cord and that I was trying to fleece him for a new charger. That is simply not the case. Not to mention physically impossible based off the cord setup. Secondly, Robert bills per hour intend to talk a lot. I listened to him for 90 minutes while he explained how Bluetooth works, which might have been helpful for someone that isn't a seasoned software developer like myself. I entertained his stories to be polite and begrudgingly sat there as he explained to me how to download an app and then connect to my light switch. I thought I was being polite, but then it turned around and I was billed for that time. This is not okay because his hourly rate is nothing to sneeze at. I wrote the engagement off as pricey, but the work was good, and I trusted him in my home. The disappointment point was when I called him and asked, "Hey, have you ever heard of any cases where these cords are crushed into the weight of a garage?" He said, "Definitely." Well, that's funny because you told me the exact opposite when I asked you the exact same question when you installed it. I honestly think he just didn't want to go through the hassle of cutting a pass-through hole in the wall so that he could properly mount the outside panel. He wanted to get it done quickly and move on to the light switches, since those were the easy tasks to collect a bunch of money. I am more disappointed than upset by sharing this as a cautionary tale so that others don't get scammed in the same way.

We worked with Derek who was a complete professional - timely, very knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and looked for an effective fix rather than a short cut or unnecessarily complex (and costly) fix. Derek did not charge for his initial visit and his final bill was reasonable. Our appliance repair technician diagnosed our loss of power issue to the electrical connection or electrical feed to our KitchenAid microwave/oven combo. He was right - it was the electrical connection in the wall behind the combo unit. When we remodeled our kitchen the electrician contracted by the cabinet installer did a less-than-professional job of connecting our unit (connected the aluminum conductor in our house to copper wire in the unit with just a wire nut). The connection eventually shorted out. ATTENTION HOMEOWNERS: IF YOU ARE REMODELING BE SURE THE ELECTRICIANS DO WORK THAT IS STATE OF THE ART AND UP TO CODE. He outsourced the electrician and the stucco repair person. The only one that came out and did a careful job was his brother, but unfortunately that was on the last day. He also promised me a different panel, but then tried to convince me that the one the electrician bought for the job was just as good. I went along with it since I had been waiting several weeks for the job to begin already. One of my worst experiences with a contractor.
