My experience with Derek was not great. It was full of delays and bad communication. My project is completed, but it took several weeks for an electrical panel upgrade. He outsourced the electrician and the stucco repair person. The only one that came out and did a careful job was his brother, but unfortunately that was on the last day. The rest of the work was a mess. I am very disappointed with the way it looks. They did what they had to do to pass inspection, but did not care about the esthetics. He also promised me a different panel, but then tried to convince me that the one the electrician bought for the job was just as good. Got a new stovetop that needed a new dedicated electrical line (as our kitchen was already overloaded with not enough circuits). Derek and team were very fast and did everything to code and also found a number of errors in the previous setup that only top professionals would spot. They got a whole new circuit in from the fusebox into the kitchen (through the wall) in a couple of hours flat at a very good price indeed. I left a message asking if they could please help with an electrical buzz in the kitchen. Why? This is why-I'm not stupid. (Electrical Humming Humming or buzzing sounds from an outlet or switch usually mean that a wire has come loose. (Dimmer switches can hum for other reasons--see below.) If so, the switch or outlet might be warm to the touch as well--although not necessarily. A loose wire is a fire hazard, so call an electrician right away to check out the humming or buzzing. ) He was very rude, had not read why I had called, and then told me he was an electrician and couldn't help me! Within a day i noticed a timer related issue but not directly related to the installation work. Responded to my Friday night text message within 1 hr.
