There is also a nice lounge area in the front equipped with computer if you want to do some online banking! There are always tons of parking as the lot is huge and only shared with a few shops.

I decided to check it out on a Saturday afternoon after I had got a haircut at Great Clips and then did some grocery shopping at Walmart. This CIBC has a drive-thru. I used it to check my balance. I don't do a whole lot of banking with CIBC these days, but I do have an account. It was straightforward entering it. Deposits are envelope-free at this ATM. You can withdraw CAD or USD, depending on your needs. It's similar to the CIBC ATMs that are at Pearson International Airport. It's nice that the bank has opened it up to more ATMs that aren't at the airport. This branch is closed on weekends. You can still go into the branch to use the ATMs if you won't want to do the drive-thru. Regular banking hours are from 9:30 am till 5 pm on weekdays. The branch has accessible parking, which allows a wheelchair to go up a shallow ramp to the main doors. There's a button that opens both doors for access into and out of the branch. There is plenty of parking around the building. I parked in the back aisle to take a look at the branch before I left. I'm glad that I took a closer look at this bank. We joined the very long queue to get this sorted out. The line was practically out the door at this point and moving extremely slowly. I didn't keep track of how long we waited, but with only three tellers working and one in training, it was a long and boring wait. The fact that the bank was closed the previous day could've added to how many people needed to see a teller. When we asked about why we were given only $5 bills when $20 bills were requested, we were told the machine must've run out of $20 bills. If that's the case, the machine should be able to register this and not have this option available.

The front desk staff and greeters are very friendly, courteous and professional - while waiting in line; I overheard their interactions with customers, both in person and over the phone. What impressed me the most was after my transaction, I asked the client service representative if I could speak to the branch manager. She did not hesitate or even ask why! A few minutes later, I met with Rose Figliuzzi. I explained that I have been with TD bank for many years, and I was very impressed with the staff. I asked about global transfers before at the very same branch and they said the bank I want to send money to was not supported (which was proven not true), money wasted. Jessie went above and beyond when I visited yesterday and asked about it. Unlike other tellers and even ones in the offices, She was the ONLY one who was even care to give it a try and help saves a customer's money which was ABSOLUTELY unnecessary for the wire transfer from before. She was also very professional, patience and understanding. From the details and suggestions she had for me yesterday, you can tell she was highly dedicated to her work and was just on it, at the very moment you decided something. The speed of her service was fast, more staffs like this and hopefully there won't be long line ups and wait time at banks. CIBC needs more staffs like Jessie who can actually help the customers, the branch and the image of the bank. I rarely nominated a certain person in a review, but I strongly believe she deserves a credit. If I was to found out about the global transfer from another branch. My eyes were dilated and I was wearing dark sunglasses on a cloudy day. I was heading home and spotted this CIBC branch. Should I be hitting a new drive-thru to do a bank transaction under the circumstances? I was good. It simply felt like I was in heaven with so much light coming into my eyes... haha! I needed to do a transaction. I don't bank with CIBC often these days. Once in a while, I do, like I did today. I was driving northbound on Brimley Road. This branch is at Chartwell Shopping Centre, in a plaza that I used to frequent often when I worked in Scarborough eons ago. Back then, this plaza had a Shoppers Drug Mart and a Price Choppers. Both are gone. My friend, who was also my colleague, and I came here during our lunch break regularly. She banked with CIBC. Back then, this branch was next door to Price Chopper. With all the changes that occurred at this plaza, it's now a standalone building at the corner on Brimley Road and Huntingwood Drive. I had no problem finding the entrance to the drive-thru ATM. Even with my dilated eyes, it was straightforward. There was one vehicle ahead of me, which gave me time to fetch my bank card out of my wallet. The ATM was clean. I had no problem entering my PIN and performing a straightforward cash withdrawal. Easy peasy! There is parking in front of this branch. It was a bit busy, as it was just before noon. There's a Tim Hortons and a Pizza Pizza a few doors down from this CIBC, so be careful driving over to this bank. It looks like this bank is the only business with a drive-thru here. Having one for Timmy's wouldn't work, as there isn't enough space to accommodate two drive-thrus. (188)
