Service though a little slow and confusing as there's a different line for commercial/personal account but when the bank is not busy. I do really like all the perks the bank offers for customers including auto beverage making machine for espresso, coffee and even hot chocolate! There is also a nice lounge area in the front equipped with computer if you want to do some online banking! There are always tons of parking as the lot is huge and only shared with a few shops.

The tellers seem to not know what they are doing! And there is never, never, ever enough staff!! You would think that an organization like TD would know to staff its branch will all the tellers they need to survive such a busy location like this one. It is inside the mall so there is more traffic than other branches. Every time I come here there is always a line up! Alway! As the limited staff/tellers are not enough to service the more than usual traffic. What a joke, I get faster service at the emergency room when I cut my self shaving and I need some one to kiss it! I can deal with the other point, like incompetent staff. But the slow service and lack of warm bodies behind the counter is unforgivable!! It is large and has a beautiful layout and pleasing decor in CIBC colours. There are 4 self-service banking machines upon entering the branch. I was cheerfully greeted by a gentlemen at the service desk who told me that I could open a bank account at this branch just by pulling up a seat and inputting my personal information at one of two display stations situated at a nice counter. Very inviting... Anyhow, the wait time for customers lined for teller service was minimal and my friend seemed happy about his experience. I was also happy for the experience as a non-CIBC client.

After doing some research, I came across the branch at Fairview Mall. It's open on weekdays till 20:00. OMG! I felt like I had hit the jackpot. There were perhaps six customers in line. I was good waiting. I had a busy day and managed to check my e-mail on my phone. The bank manager came over and asked how I was. I have never seen such nice customer service at my local bank. She congratulated me on my car purchase. I think that she also wanted to guide folks to the cash machine if they didn't need to talk to a person at the teller. It was finally my turn to talk to the teller. I asked if I could get a certified cheque. She asked me what it was for and then talked to her colleague beside her. They said that I could do a money order. It was cheaper! $7.50 service change for the money order. The certified cheque? $41.50! Yikes! The rep saved me money, made sure that she had entered all the information in correctly, and explained which copy was mine. She was superb. I feel like changing branches now.
