    two pizzas on a table

I tried the 12" Great White North which is one of the signature pizzas, and it was very good. I decided to go with an already defined recipe for convenience because I was in no mood to build my own pizza. The Great White North was a blend of sweet, cheesy and savoury. It had some caramelized onions, arugula, garlic cream sauce, asiago, mozzarella, among other ingredients. The 12" pizza was priced reasonably ($14.50) and was a little more than enough for an individual. It will be a good idea for dining groups to swap pizza slices of different flavours to try out different mixes. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and it has usable male & female washrooms. Cutlery and napkins were available on a side counter.

This is a quick service restaurant - you place your order at the counter & pick it up there too. K town pizza was good. I seemed to taste fennel though it wasn't on the toppings list, but it went well with the pizza.

I LOVE score pizza!! I've been multiple times to the Newmarket location and a few times to the London location before they closed down. It's my favourite pizza joint and always hits the spot, even thought it's a bit pricey.

Came here with kids, it's in a nice spot in Upper Canada Mall. We ordered two 12" pizzas - BBQ chicken and Simple with chicken. Came fresh out the oven and we ate in the restaurant. Pizzas were thin crust and tasted good. Definitely recommend

High quality pizza. I loved the thin crust and how they make the pizza on the spot. Super fresh. My favourite pizza is the great white north signature pizza.

Pizza was fine. Service and cleanliness were both lacking. Drop a star for the knob vaping in front of an infant.

The plaza itself is such a vibe, reminding me of Unionville Main Street for those familiar with the area. The signage throughout the plaza is excellent, making the place easy to find. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately captivated by the decor. It has such a unique aesthetic that's perfect for photos. I also noticed they have a patio with umbrellas, making it an ideal spot to enjoy on a breezy summer day without worrying about the sun. I originally came intending to order the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap ($15.99), but after spotting a table advertisement for their new Pizza Caesar Salad Wrap, I couldn't resist trying the pepperoni version ($16.99). My sister ended up ordering the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap instead, so we got to sample both. They also offer cookies, croissants, coffee, and matcha, along with 16- and 20-ounce iced drinks that are reasonably priced. I'm definitely intrigued to come back and try one. Even better, they've recently started serving breakfast, giving me even more reasons to return. The portions were generous and satisfying, and both wraps were packed with flavor. They struck the perfect balance of textures; crisp, creamy, and incredibly fresh. Honestly, no notes. They were perfection. I'd happily order them again, though I'm equally tempted to work my way through the rest of the menu. To top it all off, the staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making for an all-around excellent experience.

I've never had mortadella before so I ordered the 4 Seasons as well as a hot dog. The hot dog is decent. The sausage is nicely grilled so it enhances that smoky flavor. The bun was a sesame bun but dry - just OK. Not sure it is worth the price or that I'd order it again. But when it comes to the sandwich, the ingredients were so fresh, the meat was delicious, the sauces were yummy, and it is overall composed really well. I'm a very saucy girl so it's slightly on the dry side for me, though. If I had to equate it to another well-known chain, I'd put this up there with Jersey Mike's, but perhaps with an edge because of the curated sauces and freshness. I love you too, Grandma!

I was looking for a spot to sit and study on a Friday when I came across Metropolis. The photos…read moreshowcased a beautiful, aesthetic space, and the reviews suggested it was a great place to work thanks to its ample designated laptop seating, plentiful outlets, free Wi-Fi, and lack of time limits. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of free parking behind the café, with direct access to the entrance. Even at 10 a.m. on a Friday, it was busy. The café has clearly designated laptop seating, while other tables are marked as laptop-free zones. I thought this was a fair system as it creates space for everyone, whether you're studying or working like I was, or simply meeting friends for a casual catch-up. I also noticed that groups of three or more are welcome to sit anywhere, which is a nice touch. Between 4 and 6 p.m., laptops are also permitted throughout the café. Thankfully, despite the crowd, my sister and I managed to find two neighboring seats in the laptop section. These areas consist of large communal tables with plenty of outlets. While everyone sits together, people generally keep to themselves, making it a productive environment. That said, the café can get quite loud due to the constant flow of customers, conversations, and the occasional work call. I couldn't resist ordering quite a bit of food to fuel my study session. First was the pesto sandwich (which contains walnuts). It was incredibly flavorful and cheesy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how hot it was served and it even had a satisfying cheese pull. For my drink, I ordered an iced caramel latte. It wasn't quite bold enough for my taste, but it was still enjoyable. I simply prefer a stronger coffee flavor. For dessert, I tried the pistachio cookie. Aside from the centre, which contained plenty of crushed pistachios, I didn't find it particularly pistachio-forward. It tasted more like a chocolate chip cookie with white and milk chocolate pieces. I also sampled some of my sister's order, including the chicken Caesar wrap, which I would absolutely order next time. The iced strawberry matcha, however, was also lacking in flavor. The standout dessert was definitely the cinnamon bun. It was massive, perfectly made, and something I'd recommend over the cookie any day. Oh, and both the sandwich and wrap came with Lay's chips, which turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable pairing. I also want to mention how clean the café was despite the heavy foot traffic. During my several-hour stay, I constantly saw staff wiping down tables, clearing dishes, and tucking chairs back in. The washrooms were also clean, had a good number of stalls, and were well maintained. I especially appreciated that they provided paper towels instead of air dryers. Overall, Metropolis is an excellent place to spend a few hours studying or working. The thoughtful laptop-friendly setup, abundant outlets, free parking, and welcoming atmosphere make it easy to settle in. While a couple of the drinks and desserts fell a bit short on flavor, the sandwiches, wraps, and cinnamon bun more than made up for it. I'd definitely return, both for another productive work session and to grab that chicken Caesar wrap again.

The place is clean and staffed appropriately. I enjoy the coffee. Even when it gets cold over time I find it's one of the few places I can still drink it: I do love hot coffee though. It would be nice if the cream, milk and sugar area was lightly lit as it's hard to see when it's dark outside as it faces the window.

Last time I checked, my chicken shawarma was being roasted fresh on the spitter and didn't have to be warmed up in a microwave. I also get a lot more meat in my wraps, not just a small Tupperware sauce-sized amount. Also, my chicken shawarmas don't usually taste like plastic and limp cheese. I'm super disappointed with this place. The man who served me highly suggested the chicken shawarma, so if this is their best wrap it won't get better than what I tried. I didn't even want to feed my son the chicken or any vegetables from the wrap. I took two bites of it and had to throw it away because it just didn't taste flavourful or fresh at all. The turnip was soggy and not crunchy and the onions tasted rubbery. I love wraps but I won't be coming back here again. This was money wasted IMO.

The ordering process is very similar to a subway, you choose the pita (white or brown), the veggies and the sauces to go on top. The veggies are always fresh and they will stuff plenty of them in your wrap. One thing I was disappointed about was the meat. Unlike other shawarma places where you get fresh rotisserie meat off the spit, the meat here is pre-cooked. However, when I had my souvlaki it all tasted just fine...the chicken was surprisingly moist. They have a few different sauces and those are really delicious! The no-drip wrapping for their pitas is an added bonus to prevent things from getting really messy. What's more to say, they have around 22 different options...about 3-4 of which are vegetarian. They even have breakfast pitas. Oh, and the owner is quite friendly and has a good sense of humour! This will definitely be one my top places for a quick and satisfying bite.
