Came in with a tire off the vehicle with a nail in it. They charged me $20.00 for the plug. Most places charge $5 or do it for no charge. From what I've been reading, they seem to take advantage of people. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

I wouldn't recommend them at all. My husband needed his medication and things but because this company thinks they know what happened during the accident told me and I quote" no he was at fault and it's 800 dollars." Kinda funny that he counted 4 days. No wonder there is horrible reviews for this place. They think they can blame people for an accident when they were not there but a small town usually means they knew the other person and that's why they REFUSED to let me get his meds and his way to get around. read more

I go here for routine maintenance. They have been very reliable and friendly. I also had to get a tow once, and they did a great job.

I'm 50 minutes north of the nearest dealer for my SUV. When it broke down in June and I needed a tow under warrantee, Road-side Assistance for my vehicle contracted with Scooters to pick it up with a required flatbed truck for the 4-wheel-drive. When giving directions to our remote home, the owner verified what my SUV manual stated; that I needed to provide a tow hook that screwed into the front bumper so the tow-driver could safely winch the SUV onto the flat bed. I got it out of the spare tire compartment and removed the plate covering the receiver for the tow hook from the front bumper and installed it. The removed cover plate was secured to the bumper by a lanyard. The tow-driver ignored the bumper hook, placed chains on the inside front wheels under the plastic air deflectors way under the bumper, told me "it's not an issue" in not using the installed tow hook and drove off with my SUV - tow hook unused and the cover plate dangling. We're in the woods and don't drive much so I didn't notice until a month or so later that the bumper cover was missing and the plastic air deflector under the bumper was cracked and broken. When I contacted Scooters regarding the damage caused by the tow, the owner confirmed that he told me during our first conversation that the bumper-mounted tow hook was needed prior to pick-up and then said that the driver told him the cover was missing when he dropped the car off. He also said I couldn't prove the damage was caused by the tow because of the time that had passed since the tow and that's true - I missed the damage when we picked up the car and didn't notice it for several weeks, but it's obvious what happened. However there was no offer of working with me at all toward the repair bill and our conversation ended with him hanging up on me initially and then several times thereafter when I called back to get his insurance information. The only improvement they need is for the owner to learn how to treat his customers. I went to pick up my car and got yelled at 3 times and commended with a finger pointing to sit down and wait. Apparently he was on the phone, which I did not realize, and instead of saying something like please hang on a few, he yelled at me and pointed to the seat as if I was a bad child who did something horrible. The rudest person I have encountered in many years, actually since ever. I am old and was simply a bit confused about who to talk to. He had no just cause to treat me meanly and rudely. They say they don't do Diesel trucks but they work on someone I know has a Diesel truck and they don't know t to work on air condition in vehicles they couldn't figure out mine so over all bad service I wouldn't recommend them to anyone read more

BUYER BEWARE! OK, so I don't usually do this but after leaving Scooters today, he sent some insults my way on Craigslist, so here goes. THIS GUY IS A JERK! I found a replacement truck bed for sale on Craigslist and sent an email with an offer. I didn't here back for a day. I then got a reply and a counter offer which I accepted. Another day passed with no further response. I then got a message that her husband wanted my phone number, (which I had supplied with my initial offer) and I obliged. The next morning at 530 am I get a call from my Mr. Scott Green, who I assume is scooter. I asked about scratches dents etc. And he said it was new. (Looking back, this would have been the time to tell me it was white primer and not paint. That afternoon I drove 3 hrs. To his shop. When I arrive, the bed is out front on another trailer. It was very dirty I assume from being stored. I go in, pause the man $2000, and am sent out with 2 Young men to load it up. That went fine and I started to strap it to the trailer and it began to rain. I kept working as I just wanted to get home. Well as luck would have it the dust and pollen started to wash off, except for the area near the tail lights. I rubbed the metal to get o$for the dirt and then I realized I was seeing through the paint to bare metal. I go back in to question Mr. Green about it and he said it was not painted, but was primered in white. I then said I would like my money back. He tried to convince me otherwise but then gave back my money. We moved the bed back to his Trailer and I left. After some research, my belief is that he is selling the rejected beds that Ford can't sell as a new part. Just my educated guess, that's all. BUYER BEWARE! read more
