Update to original review: The process was challenging, but ultimately we received service. Matt…read morewas amazing! He was very knowledgeable and professional. Our water system is working, and we feel comfortable moving forward with the company. Original review: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Serviced our system in April (routine maintenance) and we immediately had a problem that evening after the technician left. Told us to "place the system in bypass". It is now the end of June and we are still in bypass with disgusting water! No one answers the phone. No one updates us. Our fixtures and clothing are being ruined with iron. I can't cook with the water. We can't drink the water. I understand that "things happen" but at least answer the phone and respond to your paying customers!

This is a SCAM albeit a good one. From the start they mail you a test kit and tell you to mail…read moreeverything back, should have been a first red flag (if you receive this in the mail keep it and send it to the city) but we had just received a letter from the city so we were curious about getting our water tested. Then they called in said we had 70% dissolved solids in our water and i asked for supervisor when the lady didnt know what i was talking about when i said are you sure its not ppm parts per million. Supervisor called and clarified it was ppm. Next a tech came out. From the get go it sounded very aggressie sales person pitch. At one point he asked for my wife to come down and said they require both to be present. I asked whose "they" and he avoided answering, he kept saying they require it and I kept asking who they is and he finally said his company. Clearly trying not to give up the ruse that they're not affiliated with the city. So clearly they're trained to not do anything "illegal", pretty scummy. I told him no my wife isn't coming down. I asked what he was trying to sell me and he said nothing, we provide solutions. Disolved solids in the water. First thing, disolved solids in your water is not inherently bad. They know this because when i asked about any EPA regulations, they avoided it and kept going back to the EWG. Though at one point the sales person did lie to me and said the EWG standards were set by the EPA as i was asking too many questions. At this point Tracy got confrintational and went back to the ppm of disolved solids. To keep this brief, they try to get you to freak out that stuff is in your water (this is why they wanted my wife present and tried to 'require it'), very scummy. I asked, if they were specifically going to test what was in my 119 ppm disolved solid water (whichs pertty good!) and he said, "no". I asked, "How then could i know if i need a 'solution' if i dont know what is in the water, it could be harmless or even beneficial. At this point the salesperson, Tracy, got aggressive with their sales pitch. "Oh your an engineer, how could an engineer want poop in their water". He scraped his shoe at some point in the interaction to try and suggest that the disolved solids in my water were poo poo. First, cities are required to keeps pipes pressurized greater than the outside pressure so that if there is a leak, it goes outward. Pretty efficent, not perfect but its extremely unlikely that there is poo poo in your water at any harmable amount. His last comment was extremely aggressive in tone and also just a really bad way to try and get anyone to buy anything. I asked him to then leave and he did so and was pretty respectful after that. All that to say, do not do anything through this company. They're trying to hide under the guise of being the city (they wont say it but they will use "they" a lot). Don't let them intimidate you or your wife (how f'd up is that). If you have been affected by this and beleive it is a scam you have every right to report them to the FTC for being fradulent, contact the consumer protection division, and/or send a message to your local city provider and tell them what occured.

I was…read moredisappointed when he didn't even recommend a Carrier replacement but a more expensive Bosch IDS unit. I initially figured he was just trying to sell us a more expensive solution to get more money out of us but when I did my research I found out what Jason recommended was a great product and the perfect solution for us. CC is a bit more expensive but it's a smaller veteran-owned operation that focuses on quality. I didn't realize it until they were done but our quote included a surge protector (an industry recommendation due to the electronics in the outdoor unit) at the disconnect without us even having to ask for it. This level of service is valuable when, as a layman, you're not sure of everything you should be asking for. We have still a second Carrier unit and when it comes time to replace that we'll be contacting CC to put in another Bosch unit.

Buyer Beware: If They Won't Stand Behind Their Work, Think Twice Before Hiring Them…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I hired this company because my AC stopped working. The technician diagnosed the issue as a clogged condensate drain that had filled the drain pan and tripped the safety switch. I paid for the diagnostic and the repair to clear the drain. Less than 48 hours later, my tenant called to report water leaking through the ceiling. I contacted the company expecting them to stand behind a repair that was only two days old. Instead, before anyone was even willing to inspect the system, I was told I would have to pay another service fee. The owner immediately became defensive and insisted the leak couldn't be related to their work. That's the problem. If I pay a professional to diagnose and fix a clogged drain, and water is leaking into the ceiling two days later, the first response should be to inspect the previous repair--not ask for more money before even looking at it. Whether the original diagnosis was incomplete or the repair wasn't done correctly, I paid for a service that did not resolve the issue. A reputable company would have verified its work before charging the customer again. Based on my experience, this company was quick to collect payment but unwilling to stand behind the work they had just performed. I can't recommend doing business with a company that treats customers this way. Today being Friday the 24th, two days later. Pictures don't do justice.
