We used Scootarama last year during Halloween Horror Nights and the scooter was delivered to our hotel in a timely manner and we had no issues during our use of it. They also had a good price. However this year after reserving a scooter by email for Aug 28-Aug 31 at Portifino Bay Hotel I can't get anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. We do have email confirmation and the money was taken from my bank account. I sincerely hope it is waiting at our hotel when we arrive and that we don't have any problems regarding the scooter during our stay as it appears they are difficult if not unable to get into contact with. read more

Scootarama was convenient and flexible. I booked the wrong dates for the arrival of my family at our resort. The company adjusted the dates with no issues. The company sent emails and text messages regarding delivery and pick up which was very easy. The scooters are easy to accessible and operate. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Unreliable and unresponsive. I ordered a scooter over the phone for may 2. The guy that took the order read back the order as JUNE 2 - I corrected him, and commented "wow, that would be an awful mistake if the date was wrong"....the scooter was to be delivered to the hotel the nite I arrived so that my husband and I could take our grand daughter to Magic kingdom at "early entry" . We arrived to hotel at 8:00PM NO SCOOTER - called immediately and left message - no answer....called again the following morning at 7AM, 8AM, 9AM and 10AM- NO one answered, left message NO ONE Called back. finally got someone on the phone at 11, and they claimed they didn't know who I was, despite the fact that they had already charged my credit card for the full 5 day rental. They were unable to deliver a scooter til late in the day. HOWEVER, I had already purchased disney tickets AND GENIE + for the day. We were not able to go to the park without the scooter - all the while, the magical day my 6 year old grand daughter was anticipating for the last 6 months was now ruined....of course, she cried...my heart was broken. These incompetents cost me several hundred dollars in unused disney tickets, plus broke my precious grand daughter's heart. BTW, the guy claimed the order was for june 2.....he never corrected the order as I gave it to him!!!!! read more

Scooter was not reading the charge properly. My scooter failed in Hollywood showing a full charge. When I called to get a replacement shooter the person blamed me that I had not charged it . Well I did charge it for 7 hours the night before. After pushing my scooter to my vehicle ( which set me back incredibly health wise) I put it on charge for 10 full hours and I had problems again the next day. It said full charge put the display would fade in and out. As a mobility challenged person I was let down that the claim that they would swap out at parks was not true. Go elsewhere! read more

We have rented from Scooterama several times when at Walt Disney World with no problem. Today, our scooter broke down and I called to get a replacement scooter. I nicely explained the situation and kindly asked for a replacement scooter be delivered. The person went through many questions and was obviously trying to find a way to not exchange the scooter we had lost confidence in that no longer worked. Eventually, I boldly requested a simple replacement unit. He then told me that I had no right to tell him how to run his busines. He was very rude and not at all customer friendly. His attitude was a real "WOW!" I could not believe his attitude towards me - His customer. We will NOT go to them again and encourage you to consider anyone else than Scooterama. They do not understand that customers are intelligent and their business exists because of them having (loyal) customers. Before today, I would have given them a 5. This guy killed that for us! Choose one of the MANY other companies that provide scooter service when at WDW. Note: Subsequently, Owen brought me a replacement scooter. He was very nIce and professional. I had a last minute emergency arise and needed to rent a scooter right away during our WDW trip. I called on Tuesday evening around 7pm and the scooter was there at my resort the following morning by 7:30am. The scooter made moving around to easy that I called to extend the rental from a 2 day to a 3 day and it was no issues to do so. The staff was very helpful, nice and very accommodating. We will definitely used them again next year for our trip. read more

My family has rented 2 scooters from Scooterama many times (more than 5) over about a 15 year period. The two times we had problems, they were easily reached by phone and had the issues fixed very quickly (one was user error for not recharging the battery!, the other was a tire that came off the rim). We've spoken with John on the phone many times; and have met the delivery driver several times. The scooters are always waiting for us near the Valet desk at our resort; and that is where we drop them off when our vacation is over. The scooters always arrive clean and ready to go, with the charger in the pocket of the seat. I highly recommend Scooterama when you visit Orlando! read more

We have rented from this company when visting Disney in Orlando for many years - they are terrific! They deliver right to your hotel at no extra charge. The unit comes all set up and fully charged. It's much less expensive than the ones in Disney parks and you can even take it on Disney buses, boats and in the parks. Much nicer design than the Disney EVCs too. As to the one-star rating from Kenneth R, if you had read the website, you would have known that your credit card would be charged when you complete the reservation.... just like when you purchase an airline ticket or most anything else. The refund policy is also on the website (or if you ask over phone).... no refund less than 24 hours before they deliver your scooter. As with anything else, don't enter into a transaction unless you understand the terms/conditions. I wouldn't rent from any where else. read more

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! PAUL WHO WORKS THERE IS THE BIGGEST JERK I'VE EVER SPOKEN TO ON THE PHONE! He was unprofessional, rude and all I needed to do was get a scooter for my ailing mother and he not only argued on the phone with me, but he continued to yell at me on the phone. He also used the words "YOU ARE WRONG!" When in customer service history has anyone ever said to a customer, even if they were, "you are wrong." Shame on him for the way he has acted and please be sure you spend your money elsewhere. read more

Worst company to deal with. Unprofessional on the phone, didn't tell me they would leave it at the office of the resort, put the wrong name on the scooter when they left it at the office, and didn't tell me to leave it in the office to be picked up. When I talked to a rep, "John", he was rude and said he didn't have a supervisor for me to talk to. I do not recommend this company. Beware of this company. The scooter was not delivered when we reach our resort. I tried to call them but no one answers the phone. I left many messages. We were fortunate that we had brought with us our push wheelchair other wise our plans for that afternoon and evening would have been ruined. They called our room, I guess after hearing the frustration in my voice over the delivery of the scooter, and said that they tried to text me and call. I did not have a text or any messages. They had the wrong number. I asked them why the scooter was not there when it was suppose to be and they said that they delivery directly to the person renting the scooter. We were never told that when we made the reservation. They did deliver the scooter the next morning and I ask for a credit. I have been home a week and the credit was not applied to our account. I had to call them again to get the credit. Beware, there are many other scooter companies out there. I would not recommend using this rental company. read more
